I am a trauma survivor, I don’t try to let it get to me and I am in remission but sometimes I can see or hear something and I’m right back in that moment. I have horrible trust issues. I hid it all behind a shy polite demeanor, though I’m starting to get a lot less hide-y. I have an odd, niche set of interests. I absolutely adore cats. I am a very creative person. I paint, write all kinds of complex stories, crochet, and do miniature kits. I love fixing and taking apart stuff.

Doug is my favorite, as a fic writer, but don’t have that impact your judgement. I want to know: which rune factory 4 man would think I’m pretty cool, and match my freak?

After thinking about it, I'd say either Leon or Arthur.

Leon - as usual - likes to tease. However, if he realizes that he said something that may have triggered you, he steers clear of that and things like it. He might even let you touch his ears - even though he warns you that they're kind of sensitive. Even if your interests are niche, he still likes to watch you do it.

Arthur is less likely to tease you. If you don't want to share what you went through, he won't press. If you have any moments where you feel like you're back in the moment, he tries to talk you through coming back to the present. He's a smart man. He understands. When it comes to your interests, he thinks you're pretty talented. If you want to show him something and he's working, he'll pause for a minute to take a look.

WHEN YOU HAVE A NIGHTMARE

You woke up in the middle of the night with sweat rolling down your brows. The same nightmare has plagued you for weeks, and you are unsure what to do. You feel scared and anxious, and you don't know where to turn for help. You take a deep breath and try to calm yourself down, but you can't stop the images from your mind. You tell yourself that tomorrow will be a better day.

It was hard enough to get Arthur to go to sleep, so you didn't want to bother him. Despite your efforts to not wake him, you felt him stir in the bed beside you. Your panicked breathing must have woke him. You held your breath, hoping that he would go back to sleep but he sat up and rubbed his eyes.

Arthur reached over and turned the bedside lamp on, grabbing his glasses and slipping them on.

"What's the matter, darling?" He asked with a yawn.

"N-Nothing," you stammered and wiped your brow. "I've been having the same nightmare for weeks. I kept dreaming about your passing and it was terrible. I know that it won't happen for a while, but the thought scares me to death."

"Awe, darling," he soothed softly as he got out of bed and took your hand. "Come. I'll make you some tea and we can talk more about it, yeah?"

WHEN HE HAS A NIGHTMARE

It was common for Arthur to stay up late. Despite knowing it was harmful to his health, he needed to get some extra work done sometimes. There was something a little different about tonight. He found himself unable to focus. His thoughts were racing and he couldn't seem to get anything done. He decided that he should stop and get some rest. So, he did.

His sleep lasted maybe five hours before he jolted awake and sat up straight. He had been dreaming of a nightmare, one in which he was being chased by a mysterious figure in the darkness. He was breathing heavily and felt a deep sense of dread in his chest. His dream was so vivid and real that his body reacted to it as if he was actually being chased. His heart raced and his breathing was rapid, as if he was in a real state of fear.

You stirred at the quick movement on your husband's side of the bed. When you heard his heavy breathing, you opened your eyes and sat up as you stretched out your muscles. Seeing Arthur in such a state, your expression softened. You reached over and pulled him into your embrace as your fingers ran through his hair.

"It's okay," you assured him as he wrapped his arms around you to catch his bearings. It hurt you to see him like this. "You're safe. I'm right here."

Even though he doesn't like to take breaks, he makes sure you get enough rest even if you do get sick often.

He's in between doing trades and taking care of you

Sure, he could ask for help - but chooses not to!

Ends up falling asleep in a chair at your bedside in case you need him.

Don't let this man fool you. He cares a whole lot.

Swears under his breath sometimes when you try to do anything by yourself.

Often tries to make you laugh, but it doesn't work out.

Since he has been taking care of Blossom, he knows how to make a bomb-ass chicken noodle soup - or whatever soup you want!

Literally the sweetest!

He likes to bake you some get-well sweets or cookies.
