The Princess and the Pauper except it’s Rook and his body double/j I totally forgot that was a part of Arthur’s story 💀 (Can you tell he wasn’t the one I romanced? I went for Leon and Vishnal www)

Rook comes off as a flippant person, but you can really rely on him when push comes to shove. He’ll surprise you with what he’s capable of!! Rather than Rook abandoning his role because he simply doesn’t want to tend to his responsibilities or because he wants to goof off, I think it’d be more for safety reasons? Like having a public lookalike in case others are after your life, or to free Rook up to take on other tasks or training. I do imagine that he enjoys hunting on horseback on palace grounds or something like that!

Being that he is a middle child, I don’t think Rook needs to seriously contend for the (hypothetical) throne. He doesn’t strike me as someone who would care for it either. The royal duties would probably also be split up between the 6 Hunt siblings, or maybe each of them specializes in a certain sector?? 🤔 (Now I’m too invested in this AU, lol)

Arthur

Even though he doesn't like to take breaks, he makes sure you get enough rest even if you do get sick often.

He's in between doing trades and taking care of you

Sure, he could ask for help - but chooses not to!

Ends up falling asleep in a chair at your bedside in case you need him.

Dylas

Don't let this man fool you. He cares a whole lot.

Swears under his breath sometimes when you try to do anything by yourself.

"(Y/n), you're being stupid. Just lay down."

He wants you to rest up as much as possible.

Doug

Often tries to make you laugh, but it doesn't work out.

Since he has been taking care of Blossom, he knows how to make a bomb-ass chicken noodle soup - or whatever soup you want!

Tells you about his village sometimes.

Plays with your hair if you want him to!

Kiel

Literally the sweetest!

He likes to bake you some get-well sweets or cookies.

He reads your stories and tells you all about what he's currently researching!

Forte helps him with the baking but is too shy to admit it.

Leon

Will let you stroke his ears or play with his hair if it helps calm you.

Will hold your hair back if you're puking.

Also carries hair ties in case you need your hair off of your neck.

Thinks you're cute, even if you're sick.

Vishnal

The poor guy literally has to ask Volkanon for help when it comes to anything.

He wants to be there for you and take care of you, but his cooking isn't too great.

If you have a fever, he'll fetch a cold rag.

He holds your hand and lets you rest your head in his lap.

He'll talk about anything if his voice soothes you enough to help you rest.
