Review: mk4 Suzuki swift sport A review that is very close to my heart , I've read hundreds of reviews on pages about the thoughts and feelings on these cars but none have I seen from an owner! This is my 2012 Suzuki swift sport! A car with huge character and the same symptoms of a small child with severe behavioural issues! In this review I'll be breaking down each part of the car and all the important stuff you need to know from someone with the experience and knowledge of an owner of this car for over a year! The most important! First of all the engines on these little beasts are far from high performance , but what they lack in outright brute force they make up for in extremely high quality Japanese engineering, now I don't know how they've done it but with the power down I've taken on a Mini Cooper S and lived to tell the tale! From a naturaly aspirated engine these little brutes will definitely leave you with a smile on your face, 0-60 will take no more than 9 seconds easily , racing through the gears you'll find the vvt will kick in between 3.5k and 4.5k rpm and boy does it help! Oh the joy I get of hearing the car go from a polite law abiding citizen to suddenly jekel and Hyde into a gritted toothed beast of the darkness! but due to a restriction on the top end your going to fall behind once you reach 120mph which leaves these to become the dominant contender to the back road racer! Which will lead me onto the suspension in the second part of my review! Suspension and handling! What with this car weighing no more than 1100 kg (optional extras taken into account) this car will take even the sharpest hair pin in its stride! By not being the lowest car in the works it will also take on an array of country road bumps and pot holes , they'll be no gritted teeth in this vehicle but ones made from shear excitement! Gearbox With an extra gear being added unlike their predecessors gives this car just that extra push against the mk3, gear changes do feel slightly clunky between 1st and 2nd but smooth as butter through the rest giving you a very quick take off through the bends. Overview A small but incredibly powerful price of machinery which will sit on the Tarmac like its on rails , this vehicle will never fail to make you smile! Oh and please buy the boost blue! It polishes lovely!
