Tix gasped out loud when the chat suddenly became active with a little ‘bling’-noise of the new message being received. She was relieved that this Ryff person seemed polite and nice.

It was always a little fear-inducing to contact strangers, no matter it be through text or talk. The only thing that made it easier with text-based communication, was the fact that Tix’s anxiety wouldn’t be possible to hear through the written letters. No nervous “uhms” or shivering speech patterns. This, and the fact that the stranger couldn’t see her and judge her appearance, made the situation a little less scar. With shaking fingers, she started typing, in the most professional tone possible: “Hello Ryff! My name is Tix, and I recently had an incident with my phone. The screen is shattered, and it may have suffered other injuries too, but those I am not sure about. But I thought that perhaps it would be possible to save it somehow?”

Ryff’s feathers lifted slightly when he got a reply, though they flattened out slowly as his eyes scanned the reply. “Ah,” he murmured. With one more read through the message he nodded to himself and began typing away. These weren’t usually an easy fix.  “Alright, Tix. Let’s see what we can do for you, okay? Usually a cracked screen can be replaced, however, if it’s shattered and the display beneath the glass is detached from the phone you will most likely need to get a replacement.” Ryff frowned at having to relay this information; it was never fun to hear and he didn’t like to be the bearer of bad news.  “Is the display still in tact? If it is, please take it to the nearest store location for damage assessment and repairs. If your screen is detached and you can still turn on the phone and receive sound and vibration feedback, I can walk you through the steps for data recovery, alright?”

Ryff closed out of the window of his previous customer, feeling quite satisfied with the outcome. It was an easy task and he was ready for the next customer in the queue. With a small inhale, he connected to the next person, feathers on the back of his head relaxing as he settled into his chair and began to type.  “Thank you for contacting customer service! My name is Ryff, and I will be happy to assist you! Before we begin, I want to mention that this chat may be monitored for quality assurance. If you could, please state your name and let me know how I can be of service to you today.” He steeled himself, waiting for the reply. It wasn’t always that he’d receive an ornery customer, but, to him, it never hurt to be prepared. If anything he hoped for something that could be an easy fix. 

The phone was busted, no way around it. Tix had, after all, dropped it from the fourth floor and unto complete concrete ground. Nevertheless she had rushed down the staircase to retrieve it. With tears in her eyes and a heavy heart, she walked back up the stairs, tail trailing apathetically on the steps. She couldn’t believe she had been this careless with her phone. Her favourite phone. Why did she always have to be so clumsy around machines? She sighed, and tried to turn the phone on in vain. She examined the tiny machine in the hope that it could, somehow, be saved. The screen was heavily cracked, and she figured the camera was busted too. It probably had a lot of internal mechanical bleeding as well. But…. She couldn’t know that for sure, could she? A single optimistic thought started to blossom inside the darkness of her mind. Yes. Maybe… just maybe it was possible to fix this! Maybe she didn’t have to say goodbye to her precious phone! Tix rushed to her small laptop, turned it on and eagerly went to the webpage of her phone company. She clicked on the button in the menu that said “Online Customer Service”, which lead her to a private chatroom. A message at the top of the chat said: “Welcome to our Online Costumer Service. An employee will be with you shortly…” Tix waited.

((11 previously answered! 20. Imagine your character as a dragon. What sort of dragon would they be? Would they be good or evil? What do they horde in their cave? He’d definitely be a good dragon, I don’t think Ryff’s personality would change if he were a dragon instead of a gryphon and he’d still be very friendly and probably very talkative; people coming into his dragon lair would probably be welcomed as a guest and he’d talk their ears off. He would definitely hoard something, what exactly I’m not sure, but definitely things that are colorful or sparkly. Not necessarily coins or anything of high value but little tacky things like rhinestones and glittery shirts and colorful glass bottles lol. He wouldn’t hoard strictly one thing but definitely things up that alley!))

11. Beach trip! What would you find your OC doing at the beach? Swimming? Fishing? Collecting shells? Making sand castles? Throwing a tiny piece of bread in the air to a swarm of 500 seagulls? Ryff gets really hot in warm weather with all of his fur, even when he gets it trimmed down in the summer he prefers to do things that keep him cool so he probably would be splashing around in the water. (he may also collect sea shells to decorate Bubblo with because they’d stick to them). Beach barbeques and games are a bonus. He might also get someone to bury him under the sand or go adventuring for special things to help people decorate castles. Really he’d just get the most out of his day at the beach!

A bunch of random original character prompts by @5targuitar. Draw em, write em, use em for creative fun.

Your OC has drawn them self! How does it look?

Draw you character eating a ghibli-styled feast. 

Imagine all your OC’s having a business meeting at a large conference table. Imagine them all wearing the classiest suits. What are they meeting about? Who knows! But dang they all look sharp! 

If your OC’s had OC’s what would they look like? 

If your OC were a boss, mini boss, or final boss in a video game(of your choice) how would the hero have to fight them? What do their attacks look like? What is their opening dialogue when the hero meets them and once defeated, what do they say or do? 

One of your OC’s meets the very first version of themself. How do they react to one another? 

Your OC has fallen ill. How do they deal with being sick? What sort of symptoms do they develop? Anything unique to their species?

Draw your character doing some form of exercise. Weightlifting, running, cycling, etc.

Draw your characters as if they are part of a fighting game. Design the character select screen.

How well of a driver is your OC? Do they enjoy driving or do they prefer other modes of transportation? What is your OC’s “dream car.“

Does your character cry much? What makes them cry and what sort of cry do they have? (loud, soft, obnoxious, etc)

Imagine your character as a dragon. What sort of dragon would they be? Would they be good or evil? What do they horde in their cave?
