Butterfly 🍒 | Yan! Soobin Fic
🍒 author's note: this is my first time ever writing something like this so apologies if there is any problems with the plot, writing, characters, etc.
❤️ tw: possessiveness, yan!soob being violent
A cool breeze brushed against your face. The window in front of you open to let fresh air in. In your sight, you could see the silhouette of a mountain, its peak reaching high to the heavens.
It rested behind an area of growing trees above a threshold. The forest was thick and filled with greenery. A full moon in a vast infinite ebony sky, floating over the landscape.
Truly a sight to be appreciated by people who happened to be able to witness it and you were one of the lucky ones. It gave you a sense of tranquility. It calmed your mind and thoughts that filled it began to disappear.
How you wished you could go outside. Feet touching the grass, the ends tickling it. Walking around the garden that layed below you, smelling the delicious scent of flowers that grew from the bushes. It ached your heart that you couldn't enjoy the sensations.
For you were a prisoner, chained to the room you resided in. Its size equally massive and covered in wooden walls that began to rot from age. Gold accents glittered around the chamber.
No furniture decorated the room, except for the lonely king-size bed in the center of it all. Its ornate carvings on the headboard was befitting for royalty.
The door slightly creaked from behind you, yet you were still too focused drinking in the view before you. Footsteps approached you, but you don't bother on looking back. You knew who it was.
The man who took you away from your life, who feasted on your blood like it was his favorite drink, a monster that you didn't believe was real, you thought only resided in stories and myths.
"Enjoying the view?" a voice sprang from behind.
You flinched at the unexpected noise. Through the reflection, you could see his gaunt figure with skin as pale as the moon, his periwinkle hair being the only ounce of color from himself and ebony eyes staring into yours.
"Soobin", he called himself from the moment both of your gazes laid upon each other. A gentleman that had just came into town during your daily grocery trip. His voice was sweet and gentle, quite the contrast to his appearance.
You barely remembered what lead you into this predicament in the first place. Maybe these types of monsters knew how to wipe memories from humans.
His feet tapped on the floorboards, creaking every so slightly at the pressure given to the old rotting wood. He was expecting a response.
"Yes, it's breathtaking" you finally responded back.
"I'm really glad you like it" Soobin said as he gave you a toothy grin.
It would have been adorable if he didn't have his sharp canines showing
His body leaned next to yours, and he sighed in delight without when your body didn't try to move away from his. It took weeks and months for you to be able to get used to his company.
"You know.." Soobin said. You hummed in response, indicating for him to continue.
"It's quite comforting to have you with me, I hope this moment lasts forever" He continued.
Hope is a strong word, especially since the sentiment couldn't be said for you. Sure, being in captivity with someone there didn't make it half as bad and the fact there was someone who pamper you is wonderful and all, but you longed to be out there.
You hummed again in response. His arms sliding around your shoulder, pulling your body closer to his. You shivered slightly at the difference of temperature between you and him.
The two of you stood in silence as how many minutes or hours passed, your mind wandering to another place. Then, a brief cough awoken you back to reality.
"My butterfly, you've been awfully quiet. Is there something wrong?" the vampire asked.
His tone laced with worry and curiosity. His gaze settled upon your face as it glows from the light of the moon.
You snapped out from your deep thoughts and cleared your throat.
"I'm sorry, I was just feeling a bit tired from last night" you replied, giving a reassuring smile to Soobin.
You could see how his expression relaxed and his eyes showing admiration towards you.
"Oh, well why don't we rest after feeding? I promise to be much gentler than yesterday" The lavender-haired man spoke.
He pulls you into an embrace, trying to give you some warmth from the freezing air outside, though he wasn't any help with how icy cold his body felt.
The grandfather clock chimed, its chimes broke the peaceful silence of the night. An unpleasant feeling washed over you, for you knew what the ringing meant.
Soobin released you from his embrace and guided you to the bed. It was a comfy spot that made it easier for him and you during the session.
You settled yourself on the soft mattress, your body trying to relax as your heart began to beat faster against your ribcage. No matter how long you've been doing this, it still had you shaking in fear.
Then, Soobin sat down on the bed. He crawled to where you were and towered over you. You pulled the fabric you had on your shoulder, letting it fall and revealing the many bite marks for the previous feedings. Some had dried blood on them.
He held you arms to your sides, not wanting for you to thrash around while he sucked your blood. You close you eyes as his lips began to get near your skin. His breath tickling you as he peppered kisses on your skin.
God, you would be lying if you thought this didn't feel really good. Who knew a vampire was such an expert at kissing.
But the pleasure had to be stopped as your least favorite part came. Soobin's fangs dug under your skin, hitting a vein and they began to feast on your blood. Some of it escaped to the surface and dripped down to your arm. You shed a small tear from the pain.
Tears and blood mixed as Soobin continued to drink you. You could feel your energy slowly draining and your head began to feel dizzy. But just as you were about to pass out, he finally stopped.
He pulled his fangs out and licked the remaining blood that threatened to spill out from you. He also licked those that successfully went down your arms. Soobin didn't want to waste his delicious juice.
You opened your eyes and wiped your tears with your hand. It also held your head as your head thumped in pain. Your nose sniffed the smell of metal and your gaze moved towards Soobin's wrist. It was cut open, blood spilling.
He slowly lifted his wrist to your mouth as you began to sip the liquid. As you drank, your energy replenished and no longer you felt light headed. You held onto Soobin for balance as you regain your consciousness.
"Didn't you say that you were going gentle?" you asked, trying to control your breathing while questioning him.
"My apologies butterfly, you just tasted so good~" was the answer you got as Soobin was holding onto your waist and letting your head rest on his shoulder.
You gave him an annoyed stare and in return, he kissed your forehead. "You handled it well, I'll have to give you a reward tomorrow" Soobin stated as he kissed from your hands to your shoulder.
Your body fell backwards, the fluffy pillow hitting your head. You moved your body to the side. Soobin scooted next to you and pulled the blanket over the two of you.
His hands wrapped around your frame and he whispered into your ears: "Good night, my butterfly" and you both began to drift into slumberland.

You did it. You managed to escape. You ran with all the strength and stamina you had left. Leaves, dirt, and pebbles crunched under your feet. Your breath panting and you winced in pain after stepping on a particularly sharp rock.
However, you didn't care.
The moon shined its light on you, aiding in your navigation through the thick forest. You were careful to not trip on the overgrown roots that were present on the woodland floor. It felt so free, to be able to run like this after being trapped for so long.
The adrenaline pumping in your system as you darted around the woods. You didn't care that you were barefoot, you just needed to get out of this territory. You spun your head back, trying to see how far you were from there. An old rotting victorian mansion began to disappear from your sight. Perfect.
Tonight, the temperature was near negative levels. But from the way you kept running, your body was on fire on its own. Keeping you warm despite the thin fabric of pajamas you wore.
Sweat dripped from your forehead. You're a free horse, galloping away to no end. Staying with Soobin had its perks, but you preferred your life outside of the cage "home" he provided.
Suddenly, without warning, your body crashed onto the forest floor. Your elbows were grazed and were now bleeding from the open wound. Seeing what you tripped on, turns out it was those giant roots. You slowly picked yourself up and rested near a tree, staying out of sight.
"Fuck" you muttered under your breath. The stinging pain from your ankle was a great indicator that you can't run as fast as you did then.
You tried to calm your breath and tried to massaged it the best you can, holding back cries of pain when you pressed on the bruised spot.
The sound of a branch snapping put you into alert mode. Turning your head so quickly that your neck could've snapped, you saw it was just a squirrel who was also surprised as you. The woodland critter scurried deeper into the forest.
You decided to rest a bit, finding shelter underneath a tree with large branches and many leaves, covering your figure. As you calm yourself, you realize how peaceful the forest was.
It was first for you to venture this far and it was quite rewarding to hear the sounds of bugs buzzing, leaves rustling due to the night wind, and frogs croaking from deep in the forest.
Before continuing on to your journey, exhaustion crept up onto your body and your eyes began to slowly close as you feel the heavy feeling of tiredness entering your system.

"There you are!" a familiar voice broke the harmony of the forest. Alarm shot through your body as you awoke from your dozing state. Panic running through your system as you looked around to see where it was from. Where he was.
He wasn't on your left nor your right, and he wasn't in front either. Goosebumps arose on your body as you finally realized. You turned your head behind, slowly this time. You should have just look forward and ran.
Soobin stood there, next to tree. His stare froze you in your spot. In his eyes, he had a mixed look of relief and anger. You wanted to move but then he kneeled, now you both were facing each other.
Eyes filled with tears, you whimpered in your paralyzed state as Soobin caressed your cheek softly, but you knew those hands could tear off your flesh in seconds if he wished for it.
"My butterfly, I thought I'd lost you! Why did you run? Hm? Is it because of last night? I finally believed you were happy by my side" Soobin spoke, breaking the silence. His eyes trailed off from your crying face to your ankle.
"I knew it, you can't even take care of yourself" the vampire said, "You were always such a clutz" he added a mocking tone. His gaze examined your twisted ankle, all purple and bent from the fall.
"You shouldn't have run. I took care of you well, so why did you have to go? " Soobin said, wanting for a response. You wanted to say something but fear kept your mouth sewn shut.
He cleared his throat. "I asked a question" he said as his fingers lifted your chin ever so slightly so he can see your face, hoping to see the guilt and tears streaming down your cheeks.
Finally the feeling of paralysis died down and you gave him the response he wanted to hear out of your mouth.
"YOU'RE A FUCKING MONSTER! I NEVER WANTED THIS!" you shouted as loudly as possible, perhaps in a desperate attempt to alert any humans who lived near the woods.
Soobin's eyes went dark as you said it, his hand grabbing your chin roughly. No longer was the gentle boy you met in the market present, but a fierce beast that craved for blood.
"Such harsh words" Soobin said, "You never understood, did you? I love you and I did this to protect you"
"My silly butterfly, you are a treasure to behold. So many of those filthy people want you and I can't have them taint your beauty" The vampire continued.
"I hope this will teach you a lesson" as Soobin uttered those words, a horrid cracking sound erupted and rang through the night. You screamed in pain.
Through your teary eyes, you gazed at the distorted and broken ankle. Every inch of motion you did only made the pain worse. Your hands grasp at your night dress, shaking at the severe pain you were in.
"Now let me help you, my butterfly" the monster gently placed his hands on your back and legs, in which he swiftly picked you up into his arms in bridal style.
He whispered sweet nothings into your ears, promising a sweet aftercare for your injuries and kisses to your tear-streaked cheeks. However, nothing stopped your heart from beating incredibly fast.
The fear of what he'll do to you once you return to that sick and grim manor where he calls his home. Though only one thing is certain:
He will make sure you'll stay, no matter what
