“D’ya like that?” Dabi asked, curling a finger around the rope that runs along your bare skin. It was a beautiful, sturdy black rope that seemed almost too high quality for someone like Dabi to own. Not that it really mattered how he got it: all you cared about was the fact that he had you strung up like a precious little gift, all wrapped up and helpless for him. There was something so enticing and exhilarating about being at his mercy. Dabi could be gentle when he wanted to be — but most of the time you liked indulging in his rougher edges. And he was more than happy to provide. 

If you got a little burnt in the process well, that was just a fun little bonus. 

You felt his nail drag against your thigh, slipping beyond the bindings to teach the flesh every so slightly. His eyes are burning with a deep, almost sadistic passion as you squirm against your bonds. “That’s right, baby girl, fucking struggle for me.” His grin widens when you tremble in anticipation. “Just like that…”

There’s just something about the way your skin blushes against the ropes that gets him hard. The marks they leave behind have him all kinds of fucked up. “You look so good with some rope burn, doll,” he growls into your ear as he plays with the ends of your bindings. “You’d look even better with my initials burned into your ass though…” Dabi’s laughter is low and hot against your skin as he buries his head into the crook of your neck, inhaling your sweet scent. 

Fuck, he loves it when you’re aroused. Somehow it makes you smell even sweeter to him. 

You feel his fingers slowly, threateningly heating up as they squeeze your thighs. “Or maybe,” Dabi starts, moving his hand to grope your chest instead. His rough callouses drag over your skin, nails digging in to leave a trail behind as they settle over your furiously beating heart. “I should put them here, huh? Right where I belong…right where I’ll be forever.”

'why are these fucking lights tangled!?' Dabi's voice booms through the house. You walk into the room and see the poor man getting himself stuck in the Christmas lights.

'well, if you remember, last year you tore them down and crammed them into the box and this it'll be a "next year problem" and unfortunately for you, we are living in that next year.' you explain, swallowing your laughs as to not further annoy him.

'why didn't you stop me?' he demands when you free him from the light prison.

'because if we are being honest, seeing you struggle with these lights is the best Christmas gift I could ever receive' you help him untangle the string of lights and carefully wrap them up to hang later.

'glad you find me amusing.' he huffs with an annoyed frown.

'oh I do. And I can't wait for this to happen again next year when you don't learn your lesson'
