Writing a book and im curious how the fandom would take this:

Does it count as queerbaiting if:

a.) At least one of the two characters is canonically queer and gets a different partner of the same gender than the one you they’re shipped with

b.) It’s revealed that one of the characters is in love with another of the same sex and the other doesn’t return their feelings (not because they’re straight but because they’re in love with someone else and have a lot of their own issues to deal with) so they have an emotional conversation about it

c.) The reason the other character doesn’t return their feelings is they’re in a straight-passing relationship that takes priority over the same gender character, although they are still not straight

i know the idea of 'hear me out' type posts is weird non-conventional attraction but i also have a fascination for the people whos 'hear me outs' are conventionally attractive characters from the most OBSURE media. like if you were asked to name a sexy character and your first thought is the girl from a mostly forgotten 1980s canadian animated scifi musical im gonna be way more intrigued by whats going on in your brain than if you had said like. the dragon from shrek yknow.

I know a decent amount about Star Wars but never heard of Tem Chesko, I may need to look him up now, I too am haunted

Now that more Star Wars is getting talked about more because of the new Andor and such, I want to talk about something. Actually this has nothing to do with Andor. I don’t want to talk about Andor. I want to talk about Tem Chesko.

Freaking Tem Chesko. I’ve never seen anyone talk about niche comic book character Tem Chesko. And I think we as a community should because I feel insane when I say, “y'know Tem Chesko? That was messed up, you know? Tem Chesko? Regular cargo driver Tem Chesko? Whose hyperdrive broke on his first delivery and it was going to take him like 60 years to get to the nearest populated planet? So he survives on his ship for a couple decades and goes insane until he activates a droid on the ship he didn’t know about? And they fall in love? And the droid contemplates suicide for not being able to give him the one thing he wants which is a way home? And then they grow old together but as he’s dying the droid decides to use pieces of herself to replace his body to keep him going long enough to reach civilization? So she sort of dies but becomes a part of him and he reaches the planet as a cyborg guy that's half of his droid wife? And then he flashes a stranger in the bar with his robot gore because hes a freak. Freaking t. the end. THAT FREAKING TEM CHESKO??

And it was messed up because I read that when I was like 11 and I still really remember it and that’s why I think we as a community should DONT TELL ME I MADE IT UP OR IT WAS FROM SOMETHING ELSE IT WAS VERY CLEAR AND WHERE ELSE BUT STAR WARS DO YOU FIND A GUY THATS NAMED FREAKING TEM CHESKO???Freaking Tem Chesko.

And then they never come back to it, he’s never mentioned again, never connects to the main story of the comic or Star Wars. I don't even remeber the main plot of the comic all I remember is freaking TEM CHESKO It was like they paused to just do a twilight zone episode.I’m not insane this happened in Star Wars canon even if no one talks about it or mentions it ever. But we should. Because that was messed up. And someone needs to talk about Tem Chesko because I feel insane Tem Chesko

Why Play Dieselpunk 1921? Character Options

Inspired by @anim-ttrpgs, I thought I'd make a lil' series about why you should play Dieselpunk 1921!

Dieselpunk 1921 has no classes, which means you aren't locked into a specific play style that you might not like in the end. Professionals are given a choice from a wide variety of Occupations, all of which provide some sort of bonus to your skills, and Backgrounds, which give you bonus tools and faction interactions.

The options range wildly, from Great War Veteran Spies infiltrating the highest ranks of the burgeoning Criminal Underworld, to Long Term Convicts turned Union Organizers leading their fellow workers against Mine Owners and Private Detectives in the United States. The options are (nearly) endless, but my favourite character that I've made is Wessel Hörst van Wieren, a Noble Scion/Great War Veteran turned criminal after deserting from the Austrian army.

Whether you want to run a tense noir game in the shadowy streets of New York, a Daring heist in the busy city of Tokyo, or a tale of love and loss in Brasilia, Dieselpunk 1921 gives you the tools and options you need to make whatever character you want!
