Originally from Oklahoma, Penelope was born to a young woman who disappeared from the hospital almost immediately after the baby was born, it was the 40's and times were tough. Despite trying to find her mother, Penelope's mom was long gone, and the medical staff had no choice but to put the little girl up for adoption. When one of the doctors heard what was going to happen, instead of allowing her to go to a group home, he took the baby home to his young wife who had been having a hard time trying to conceive.

Despite Penelope not being her biological baby, the doctor and his wife loved and raised Penelope, they had the perfect family, all until Penelope started to go through puberty. As a doctor, her father explained that she would be going through some changes, and Penelope heeded that until the first time she went through a full moon. While not a werewolf, the call of the full moon pulls weres and shifters alike, and she shifted for the first time in her young life. Her parents were stunned, as was Penelope when she came home the next morning and collapsed on the front porch, naked. Her father found her and wrapped her up in a blanket and took her inside. When she woke up he took her to work with him at the hospital and began to do studies and tests on the confused and scared Penelope.

Another doctor in the hospital was a shifter and he could tell what was going on, recognizing the energy of another shifter, and the signs of a new shifter who had just had their first shift. He sat the family down and explained what had happened to Penelope, and explained that this was something that would happen to her again. Every month she would have to shift, but soon she would be able to control the shift and she could do it whenever. He explained that she would have one animal that she preferred to shift into, but that eventually she'd be able to shift into anything so long as she knew what it looked like.

Over the years, Penelope kept her secret, it was something she and her parents didn't discuss, and she worked as a freelance reporter, she would write articles and answer questions as a columnist but she wanted more. Eventually times began to change, and Penelope fell into podcasting. She found true crime podcasting, and she fell in love with it. Since the Great Reveal, she has focused on Supernatural related stories, she was the first to cover the case of Francis Rowland the supernatural cannibal, and when she heard he'd moved to Saintes, she followed so she could continue to cover his case from a closer distance. Plus it wouldn't hurt to be able to meet new people who were her own kind.

Not much is known about Tristram Skinner, he's a developer and a businessman from New York, and he was one of the major financial backers when Marisol began to develop Saintes from the podunk little town it was into a haven for the Supernatural. Tristram was promised a large return on his investment, but when he saw how much money was actually coming in, he realized that developing for the supernatural was much more prosperous than he had realized.

He quickly moved to Saintes and began to purchase more land with the intention of developing more of the town, and making himself the man who owns the Supernatural town. He doesn't care so much about the Supernatural people nor their rights, all he cares about it making sure that he gets what he wants- which is money.

"The world is a stage, the stage is a world of entertainment."

Born of a rare Incubi/Succubi coupling, Oliver was raised knowing exactly who and what he was. Growing up to feed off of the emotion around him, he was constantly full as his parents took him around the world, having him onstage from a very young age, and Ollie, as he was known, loved every single moment of it. They say the world is a stage, and Ollie took that to heart, and he loved performing no matter where he was. Even after he split away from his parents, he was able to keep entertaining.

Because he didn't age the way humans do, he would leave town every ten years and make a new name for himself somewhere else, but always found his people in the entertainment industry.

When the great announcement finally happened, Ollie, much to his delight, didn't have to hide any more. He was able to make a name for himself and to be able to really become as famous as he decided he was worthy of being, he moved to Saintes to become one of the tope entertainers in town. He has parties constantly, he lives a rich, full life, and enjoys abundance, while always being the center of the party.

As a child Zoe always had an affinity for music. From a young age, she absolutely loved singing and dancing, and could always be heard blasting music from her room, gaining her the nickname of the family DJ. She curated playlists for every occasion, and made burnt CD's for everyone all the time. By the time she got to college, she decided to get a job in music production, but after finding she didn't like actually producing music, she decided to become a DJ. She loved DJ'ing parties around school and soon got a reputation as a damn good DJ around town. She would DJ for parties and events all over her hometown of Washington D.C. until the grand announcement was made. When Zoe found out there were supernatural creatures in the world she was overjoyed, she sought out people who had lived a long time to pick their brains on music and began to find music long forgotten. Due to her diligence in finding forgotten music, she made a name for herself as a DJ amongst the supernatural and was highly sought after for all sorts of supernatural events, where people would pay hundreds, if not thousands to have her there to DJ the music of their life.

Despite her good intentions and her welcoming attitude towards the supernatural, her parents were not nearly as accommodating. Both of her parents were life long politicians, and they had a hand in creating some of the legislation that blocked the supernatural from being able to continue living the lives they had lived for centuries. Instead they called for a registry, to track every single supernatural like they were dangerous. They helped fund a list similar to the national sex offenders website where people could report that their neighbors were supernatural and made it even easier for the attacks on Supes to continue.

One Christmas Zoe came home with her boyfriend, a vampire, and the ensuing fight between Zoe and her family had the police called by the neighbors. Zoe swore that her family was out of her life, that she'd keep making a name for herself in the supernatural community as someone who was sympathetic to them, and that she'd never speak to her family again. To make due on that threat, she moved to Saintes, where she got a job at WSNT, Saintes radio station. She's the most popular DJ despite her humanity, and she not only plays music from every era, but she also makes sure to interview supernatural people who have interesting stories to tell, in an attempt to help people understand the people around them a little more, and to show her parents that despite their protests, that the people around her are just that- people.

Hi, absolutely! We love seeing the businesses that people come up with and bring to the RP and we could definitely use a hardware store!

Name of Homeowner: Francis Rowland Description of Home: One of the historic homes in Saintes, this spacious mansion is the kind of place Francis always knew he deserved. Complete with period architectural details including a grand staircase, soaring ceilings, marble mantles, intricate molding and millwork throughout. Two kitchens make this the home fit for a chef, and cooking outside is one of Francis' favorite things to do with his leisure time. The pool was a new addition that he couldn't live without. Hey all you Saints, Admin D here, I just wanted to pop on and say Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it!

This year I'm thankful for all of you! That's right, each and every one of you who help every day to make Saintes the place I always wanted. I've been in several RP's in the past, but there's nothing like having a place that's inclusive, that's creative, and that is so collaborative- and that's thanks to all of you.

So Happy Thanksgiving folx, I hope you have a wonderful day, and I can't wait to spent next Thanksgiving with you all and your wonderful characters!

Biography:

Everyone loves a free spirit. At least, everyone but two strict, proper British parents trying to raise one. Abbi Westfield and her twin brother Preston never quite fit in in their exclusive little slice of London city life. When they were little and easily managed, it was one thing. But as soon as they grew and developed their own personalities, life in the perfect Westfield home was anything but. The only thing that Abbi excelled at that pleased her parents were piano and singing lessons…until she was old enough to discover Janis Joplin.

Abbi was around seven when she had her first vision. She touched her brother’s shirt and told him he was going to spill juice on it at tea, and mummy was going to be very angry. Preston of course laughed it off..until it happened. Angry that is sister was trying to get her into trouble, the little boy told his parents about Abbi’s vision, who in turn told her to ‘stop her silly nonsense and be a lady’.

As Abbi grew, so did her powers. Now if she touched an object, she could tell where it had been, where it was going, nearly anything. Her precious twin, having long forgiven her for the tea incident, was the only person that she could turn to for support. A barefoot daughter with a power as unmanageable as her hair was simply not welcome in the Westfield home. Abbi tried her best through school, but her visions became harder to contain as she and they grew. Music became her only solace, and the girl would lock herself in her room for hours, listening to and eventually writing her own music. As these lyrics were dark and occasionally made references to the voices and visions in her head, she was careful to hide them from the prying eyes of her parents. When her mother did find them one day and confronted Abbi, the terrified girl went off in such a way, finally giving in to the breakdown that had been such a long time coming.

The massive fight ended with Abbi finally making good on her many previous threats to leave home. Finding that to be a good idea, and likely glad to be rid of their problem daughter, the Westfields gave her the money she would need to start a new life. American, specifically Saintes, seemed to be the perfect place to settle down. A place where maybe she would be able to find others like her and learn more about her powers. Or maybe, at least, a place that would finally accept her.
