I looked up the word “sajem” (which means “common” in Sajem Tan besides being part of the language’s name) and I discovered a comic artist whose last name was “Sajem”. I found a strip of his comic “Winston”, and decided it was cute and that I should translate it. The original is here.

Side note: since Sajem and Tan are both surnames, does it not follow that there could be someone out there whose last name is “Sajem-Tan” one day?

Today I have described the provenance of the names of two bots on the Sajem Tan Discord server - hopefully in the future I can continue to explain little things like this that are asked so often of us. The picture says “Thehvmeh fuhmoltxytvah dothot nashelt kexekum do” in Sajem Tan script, which means “I love you with all my gallbladder.” To the side are a gallbladder and the Sajem Tan emblem.

Why does it say “gallbladder”? Hm...I wonder why!
