Life’s short and that’s that.
You only live once
Well yes, you do, and there is nothing you can do to change that. You live. You die. Life is very short with so little time. many of us trying to get somewhere in life but never able to, because, in the ever-changing modern society we live in, there is no time to get somewhere. you make it or break it. The sad thing is, is that when we try to get somewhere, something wrecks it. Taking your ideas and smashing them with an iron fist. So why try so hard. Why try to impress your crush or try to beat a friend in a video game. Well, it’s what is inside us that stops us from not caring. Some people may have a very cold and dry personality, barely caring about others or themselves. But always, on the inside,  will care about something. Whether it’s a family member, or something personal, everyone cares. Life is short, but when you have something or someone to care about, or even something that you are passionate about. It makes it a whole lot longer. So live, And live to your fullest, because there is no stopping once you enter the race. Just going.

The unexamined life worth living?
There comes a time in our lives when we ask one question. What am I doing. Now what exactly are you doing? In this day and age, the average life expectancy is 71 years, but what do we do in those 71 years of our lives ? Well, seventy five percent of us probably spend that time thinking of something to do while the other twenty five actually do it. The biggest problem within this world is procrastination, although in a sense it is a gift for the people who succeed. If we all succeeded without that procrastination there would be no success to achieve, but of coursethat seventy five percent of people thinking about what to do have a reason to think. If you go about life without thinking then what is the point of doing it? Do you even know what you are doing?
If you live without a meaning, there is no point in living in the first place. There should always be a meaning because your mind was not meant for nothing. The cerebrum is divided into four parts. There is the frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital. Now without these four parts the human body would be useless. The frontal lobe holds your personality, emotions, speech, intelligence, etc. Your parietal lobe can interpret language, words, sense of touch, pain, motor, sensory, etc. The occipital lobe would interpret vision, color, and movement. Finally your temporal lobe is used for understanding language, memory, hearing, and sequencing and organization. We all have these skills in our minds, They are ready to use and most of us do not use them.
There is no point in living a life not known to yourself. The ancient Greek Socrates had thought this as well, for when he was on trial for impiety and corrupting youth he had chosen death over exile. Socrates had loved philosophy, and had always thought that wisdom was the most important thing of all, seeking knowledge, understanding, and examination; thus saying that a life without examination is not worth living.
We simply live on this planet to think and create, although life is not a test. Life is a way of performance. It’s only end is to finish. In finishing it you will have created, tested, and survived many things, but will you have thought about these things before going through with them? Let us take something for example. A boy has just lost his parents and he is stranded on the streets. He has the choice to become a slave and endure hard physical labor, or to run to the orphanage. He has these two choices, but if he thought and examined his surroundings he could find an alternative. There are always more than the amount of choices presented when faced with a problem, you just have to think about it.
When thinking about your life do you really think of the choices you make? For when something challenging happens in life, people tend to give up. They do not think of what they have done because they simply only think about the wrong, and the downside of what has happened. There is a point when the human mind cannot think of anything. It is called brain fatigue, brain fatigue is when the mind cannot comprehend anything at all for a short to long amount of time. It often happens because of stress or being overwhelmed.
The point is that there is no reason to live for the unexamined life and I do not have to write this into a book for anyone to realize. Some may think that there is but if you truly examine what the lives of those are then you may find clutter or disruption. It’s simply better to think over your life, and to realize what you do. A famous quote from the French philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau; “Every man is born free and everywhere he is in chains”. What will you have to do to break out of those chains ?
The life we live today is a life that will end. The time you have now is the time that you won’t have forever, and the time you spend is the time you will have to spend thinking, creating, and testing the limits of this life. If you choose not to however there will be nothing to create. There will be nothing to think of, and nothing to test. If you do not examine your life closely, then how much of a life do you really have?

What exactly is love ?
You see, there comes a time in life when we want to ask ourselves one question. Do I really feel this way? We try and try to find that perfect match for ourselves because most of us feel it makes us more secure, or happy when we really do not see what’s in front of us. Having the time is what makes the difference, and what I mean by that is that if we truly spend time looking for love instead of finding a quick fix to fill that empty void, we can find love. True love.
The next question your thinking is simple, and I do quote you Haddaway, “What is love”. Well, what is love? If you search this sentence online the first thing you will find is the famous song of course “what is love”, and if you scroll down a couple more pages you will find a wikipedia page defining “Love”. I do apologize but if you are reading that then there is no point, it’s simply rubbish. Love does not have a meaning, It does not have a definition, and it has no point. We love because we can, and that is enough. If that answer wasn’t good enough for you let me put it into technical terms so I sound smart. When you fall in “Love” the blood flow increases in the brain, which in case is the same part of the brain implicated in obsessive compulsive behaviors. The main causes for this are Dopamine, adrenaline, and norepinephrine. When two beings become attracted to each other these substances increase. Dopamine creates the feeling of euphoria (A state of pleasure or affection). While adrenaline and norepinephrine are the cause of the pitter patter in your heart, as well as the compulsive feeling you get when interacting with said mate.
Now i’m not trying to get you to break up with your lover or turn away from that highschool crush but I am trying to get you to think. Thinking is the source of my life, and is for many others. If you simply think before you speak or do something then you should be on the right track. You may tell me I am wrong because those “Daredevils” or “Bad Boys” dont need to think to be cool, but trust me, they do think before they jump the cliff or beat up the kid for their lunch money. I want you to simply think now and ask these two questions to yourself. “ Who do I love” and then ask yourself “why”. Let it seep through your brain, and once you have then what I want you to do is to ask those people you love if they love and why they love you.
You only have one life on this planet, so why do you restrict yourself from loving someone? Are you scared? Yes, you are. The fear of rejection is the strongest fear you could possibly hold within your brain. The Teachers, the Mentors, and all the rest tell you to face your fears and be brave. It’s not that easy is it though is it? Well of course not. You can’t kill the beast without making the sword. What I mean by this is that you can not just go out and do what you want without preparing. Tell yourself before confessing your love for this person that they will not reject you, and instead that they will feel the same. Confidence is the best thing you could possibly have in this world and it powers you to do anything you want. Use this power to your advantage and be confident
