Hello! I apologize greatly for the late answer, right after I received this ask my life went into full throttle and I had my hands full.

Anyway! Onto the actual information, I haven’t been thinking too much about it, so expect miscellaneous ramblings.

Professor Pyg or Pygmalion or Lazlo Valentin is a chemist who was kicked out of his doctorate program for medical malpractice, while he was studying I believe something in his brain clicked, because something happened with someone he loved who may have died from an illness, and he thought, why has no one made a procedure that gets rid of all that? He then proceeded to work as much as he could on this project, but he couldn’t test it on people willingly without much convincing, and potentially legal documents signed, as it was just a simple hypothesis, after all. So he proceeded to take drastic measures, producing astounding results! But… He couldn’t get anyone to actually live through the procedure, so back to the drawing board he went. Halfway through his research the missing persons cases finally pile up, and he is found guilty. Unwilling to let his project just die, he decided to join the people that would provide no judgment towards his endeavors. So he escaped prison and left for Gotham, this was the start of his new life and research. 

While not residing directly in Gotham city, Pygmalion lives on the outskirts, heading to his hideout when needing to fulfill a particularly large quota. He continues to collect data, and with so many villains wrecking havoc around town, a few missing persons isn’t very suspicious. Like the sculptor, professor Pyg aims to create “the perfect human,” though less drastic than turning them into actual sculptures, he aims to rid humanity of all that harms within the psyche and physical body. Some odd way to help people, but he is sure it can work. 

Also, a fun little addition, he is known as the Gotham rogues body clean up crew! Mostly working for crime bosses and syndicates, professor Pyg owns a few animals (pigs mostly) that work wonders in getting rid of bodies, meaning he gets generous donations towards his research while others receive no trace of a murder. It works both ways.

All of this is subject to change, but it is a base!
