every so often I’m reminded how much it rules to just be able to buy things. that you want. for months I couldn’t stop thinking about this American Girl sleepover book I used to read all the time as a kid. I kept wishing I could flip through its pages again but we gave it away a long time ago. and then I just realized. wait. I can buy it. so I found a used copy online for $3. and now it’s mine, once again !

something i think of in terms of overlap in the girls' time periods, not just, kit or molly would have seen a movie starring rebecca.

kit's mom is samantha's contemporary! she's old enough to have a son who was college bound in 1932, she looks fabulous and probably married young, as was the style at the time. she's probably 40, max. idk i just think it'd be interesting to know how similar her upbringing was to samantha's. and also how is sam faring during the depression? for my sake i'm assuming she's doing alright and the depression didn't hit her family hard

yes of course! i highly recommend also reading all her mysteries/short stories/scrapbook if you never got to them as a child. and do not read the titanic book where they stuck nellie and aunt cornelia and baby william on that ship

AG doing a collector's doll of cinderella after already releasing a cheaper, playable version is so ridiculous. i understand that it's an anniversary year for the original film, but it's just so unnecessary. they could have released a special outfit for the playable doll. who's gonna buy this collector's one?
