Even in death you cannot respect a woman enough to use her name. How disgusting.

Blue
When I was much younger than I currently am, I really liked the color blue. Like, a lot.
I wanted to be a police officer simply because the job incorporated my three favorite thing: blue, dogs, and cars. Blue cars.
I cried once in preschool when I was given a green stick instead of a blue stick for a color recognition exercise. I absolutely sobbed--hands shaking, tears streaming down my face, I could barely lift the green stick when green was called.
Tums used to frustrate me greatly. They had seemingly every color in the rainbow except blue (this was probably due to the higher cost of blue and purple dyes.) However, I loved the taste of Tums, and would fake stomachaches just to be given one. I once locked myself in the bathroom at my grandparents beach side condo and proceeded to eat every single green tum after convincing myself that they were close enough to blue.
When blue Mountain Dew came out, I was very excited, but my mother wouldn't buy it for me. When I managed to buy it for myself, I was greatly disappointed by how sweet it was. I did not make the mistake of buying Blue Pepsi when it came out four years later.
I am currently wearing dodger blue trunks from American Eagle.
I used to love eating blueberry Ego waffles with blueberry syrup. I stopped eating them around the same time I tried blue Mountain Dew.
The blue dress Tara Lipinski wore when she won the Gold Medal at Nagano is pretty much my favorite dress ever. I cried when she won.
Bodies of water, especially waterfalls, enthralled me when I was younger because I thought water was blue. For some reason, it didn't bother me when I found out it was not.
I was excited by the introduction of blue M&Ms. I basically lost my shit when they came out with blue skittles.
Whenever I eat colored candies, I always save the blue ones for last. I like how the look as a mass of just blue particles.
When my parents got divorced, I told my mother that my favorite color was purple. Her favorite color was purple and I was trying to make her feel better. I still liked blue better.
I always forget that jeans are blue. Strangely enough, my favorite jeans are grey with flecks of yellow.
I have always been disappointed that there are no naturally occurring, truly blue flowers.
I wanted to be a blue dog before I wanted to be a police officer. When it was explained to me that this was an impossibility, police officer became a consolation.

Some people have it all figured out.
I am not one of them, and if you are reading this, you probably aren't either. Sadly, my friend, we probably never will be--we don't have the capacity to. That is why I'm writing it down on the internet, trying to make sense of it, and why you're reading it on the internet, trying to spell it out.
Now, not to be weird or whatever, but I really have to sleep. Tomorrow holds a lunch date and a whole ton of homework for me.
PS, before I go, I figure I should warn you, this...thing? It's going to talk about love. Way too often.
