I'm still not over the fact of how great and wonderful Aristotle And Dante Discover The Secrets of The Universe is. No contemporary, romantic book has pulled me into their world as much as this one did. It struck me so hard into my feelings that it's hard to describe. The Link to my full review is in the bio. family

blood relations, so called family

parents, brothers, sisters, they call them so kindly

a mother's love is where it starts

but no one sees her stone cold heart

a father's love out of touch

so them I really don't mean much

the truth is hard to figure

is blood really always thicker

but time flies by as i grow older

the bond, the love turns blacker, colder

screaming, yelling, a cry for help

everything I've ever felt

was all just a lie

i never wanted their love to die

all i ever wanted

is what has haunted

them forever because it's gone

and I'm never coming back home

What world do we live in?

What world do we live in?

One spits the other in the face,

Just to prevent them from their moment of grace.

The weak serve the strong, whilst they lay on the ground where they "belong".

Oneself might barely adapt,

No one picks each other up.

When one hits the ground,

It's victory what the others have found.

What world do we trust in?

One hand lets the other go.

Friendships broken, so long ago.

The weak get torn apart,

No one can love who they desire by heart.

The government trades freedom for money,

Animals are taken away from their honey.

How far do you want to go?

This can't go on that way, you should have seen it so long ago.

What world do we die in?

No one gives the kids any solace.

Humans dying, soldiers fighting for us.

All you do is lead into war,

For you, It seems like hatred is the only door.

Even schools have come that far,

Everyone is living with that deep scar.

Do you want to live this way?

What about peace and liberty?

No!

You'll never let this go.

What world are we wrecking?

Killing our own planet with greed,

But all that counts is creed.

Humans die, animals do as well,

But all you do is to quell.

You don't even care,

You can't see the flare.

Our world, destroyed to the heart,

Demolished and torn apart.

Our world is what we break,

Eventually it will come, the big quake.

Mother earth will finally awake.

we, the children, will seek vengeance,

For you have destroyed not only our world, but our essence.

You will be banished from here,

Your days are numbered, be aware.

Ignored you have the screams for help,

Ignored us to the very last yelp.

You just want to fight with your army,

You stopped the sky from being so starry.

Society pushes all of us down,

For you apparently all wear the crown.

You all just take our souls,

But one day you will lose control.

Eventually you will realise.

Please just stop and compromise!

Catch each others fall,

Don't speak against the wall.

For you could live in harmony,

As freedom always gets its victory.

If you're stressed, out and feel as though nothing ever seems to be getting better, then drop everything you're doing and just breathe. Take in a deep, calm breath and then another. Drink some water, take a walk, read your favourite book, take a warm bath, eat a healthy snack or maybe an occasional candy bar. Learn to find time for yourself, to be happy, because you are worth it!

Maybe you'll "grow out of them". Maybe you'll stop listening to them. But you will never be able to forget how much they've done for you. Because without them, you wouldn't be you. You wouldn't be alive anymore. Without them, you'd be lonely at night. Without them you'd have nothing. And you'll always be thankful for that. Whether you'll stop listening to them or not. Try to switch your mentality from "I am broken and hopeless." to "I am growing and healing." Mental health problems are real and they are valid. You should not judge yourself for having a bad day, when you get barely out of bed. You should not make yourself feel worse because someone else appears to be handling their mental illness better than you are handling yours. Recovery is not a competition. It's a long walk, with many obstacles to over come. But you can do it. #makechesterproud #fuckdepression
