According to you, what are the best questions to ask yourself/others in order to improve your novel ?

Personally I think the best way to get feedback is to ask readers you trust to give you their opinions without any opening questions, and after you’ve discussed with them, ask any specific questions that have arisen from their feedback or that they didn’t address, things you were unsure about before. I think asking too many specific questions, or even any out of the gate, can be kind of leading to the person giving feedback and usually I think people give more honest and comprehensive feedback when they simply talk about their opinions rather than feeling steered (even just subconsciously) by the author asking specific questions. If you have specific concerns that they then don’t address, ask them about the areas of the piece you’re unsure about.

Toys ‘R’ Us Going Out of Business Haul

I think I’m over the piano thing (and I’d rather have the Barbie one) because I ended up with quite a haul from Toys R Us (well it’s a lot for me since I usually buy dolls 1 at time) including Wild Style Rainbow Kate and Happy Places Bridie. Because of the liquidation sale these dolls were cheaper there than in other stores. Plus I haven’t seen Bridie in another store.

I liked Rainbow Kate when I first saw her a few months ago, but I’m glad I waited. I like this little Bridie more than the first version too. There are some minor gripes with both, like my Bridie’s eyes look a little lopsided, and Rainbow Kate’s Shopkins are kinda lame. They look too similar to one another. I also would have rather had a brush than a wrist band. I miss the 2D artwork that used to be on Happy Places boxes. I don’t think the photo of Bridie is terribly flattering, and it calls more attention to inconsistencies like her lipstick color and the fact that she’s wearing pink underneath.

What I like most about Rainbow Kate are her bunny ears and rainbow bloomers. I don’t like how the balloon looks like the clutch so I decided to float it. At first I used a pipe cleaner twisted around itself, but then I found a sturdier white wire. I also gave her ponytails with different colored elastics though you can barely see them.

Bridie has a nice, detailed molded outfit and hair accessory. I’m not sure how much I like her lips, and her eye looks out of place. Still pretty cute.

I final finished the edit. It so fun to make and stuff. Tell me if you like?

I traced over the base of patch and then.

made a head base and stuff. I mainly just traced the clothes because heck no, I can’t even  even draw straight in real life.

So then I erased some overlaying lines and stuff! :)

Then I colored it in, very aesthetic colors, and I was not online when Is whole thing or this would be a wip post. All so because I don’t lalaloopsy dolls no more I don’t know what he looks like.

So this is the finished version 2. It is very bright and sketchy though. And this is the end of this long post.

I tried to shrink it to fit the sketch. So you can see the difference. It is good, its like my animation style but it but it is patch no just ... never mind.
