Deceit and Patton used to be really good friends a long time ago, back before Deceit had his scales and weird snake eye.

Then one day, Deceit wanted needed Thomas to lie about something very important to his own safety. Patton disagreed saying that lying would only make it worse, they argued about it worse than either of them had ever before, yelling and screaming at one another.

Eventually, Deceit just shut Patton up by snapping his fingers and made Thomas lie. When Patton was given his ability to speak back he was livid, but he didn't say anything to Deceit, and just walked off.

Since then he rarely talks to Deceit, very basic conversations and even borderline death glares, only recently have the two started to talk again, not anywhere near what they use to.

Logan and Roman are princes of rival kingdoms that have been at war for almost thirty years. Once both kings have died, the two princes meet to sign a peace treaty only to remember a long blocked out memory of them playing together as kids before the kingdoms went to war...

[Tw: Sympathetic Deceit]

All of the sides have wings, really pretty ones that match their color... Virgil’s are iridescent black and purple, Roman’s are bright red, Logan’s are deep blue and silver, and Patton’s are light blue…

Except for Deceit, Deceit’s wings are broken, like, unfixable, it hurts to move them and at certain parts of it the bone of the wing is visible, they’re a bright and shimmery gold.

He keeps them hidden under his cloak though because he’d rather act like he doesn’t have any at all, than show the ones that he has.

The worst part is, he can’t ever remember how he broke them.

[Tw: Suicidal thoughts mention]

Roman can make the other sides experience his memories through their dreams, and the others are well aware of this, many times he does it accidentally, 

One night one of the others dream of walking around a crumbling and long-abandoned castle when they reach the top of one of the tallest towers they begin to have an almost overwhelming urge to jump off.

Patton has gotten the unrequited, potentially fatal, love disease known as hanahaki... For Logan... Who is already with Virgil... But Virgil soon enough finds out when Patton leaves his journal where he counts down and documents his days on the counter.

Virgil is not a romantic person.

That's Romans job...

The others in the relationship understand this, they're okay with it, Logan most definitely is, Patton is just happy if Virgil's happy and while Roman does wish there was a little more in the relationship he will Never pressure any of the others into anything.

Very rarely will Virgil act really romantic, he still obviously is there for the cuddly happy moments but, he doesn't go overly out of his way. Except for maybe two days out of the year... Those days are never scheduled or anything, but they do happen around the same time every year, and it's amazing for his three boyfriends. 

Virgil is entirely focused on making his boyfriends’ day easier and better, he just wants them to feel loved by him because they’ve made him feel so loved

Roman spends a little too much time in the imagination realm and begins to lose himself within it when Logan goes to check on him and pull him out of it, he ends up getting attacked by the Prince

Drunk, emotional and self-deprecating Logan.

The other sides don't know what to do, Logan is sitting on the living room floor laughing and giggling like Patton would... But what he's saying doesn't match at all with what his laughter is saying...

"Hahahaha... Do... You really think 'm smart... Cuz... I dun think so... Like... Everything I ever do leads to someone feelin' bad... And I dunno feelings... But that's not good... Most likely... Hahahha... Hell... Haha... I'm even more toxic than Virgil and Deceit combined!"

Virgil and Deceit quickly shoot each other a look. No one can speak up because Logan is talking again.

"Hahahaha... I mean... Thomas didn't do anything with his education... And... Right now... For a " steady" job... He's using you." He points to Roman "Heh... And even Morality... And... Anxiety... Even Deceit... I'm not needed almost at all... I just encompassed many of the facts Thomas learned... And since he doesn't need that now... Haha... I could just... Leave..."

There are a few more hours of this, including Logan eventually full on crying, until Logan passes out and when he wakes up in the morning (massive hangover, he remembers nothing) Everyone's being incredibly nice to him... And like doing almost everything for him, he doesn't know why...

And the others have to decide on if they're gonna tell him or not and if they are going to... Who has to say something first?

Virgil accidentally causes Thomas to have an INCREDIBLY bad panic attack, making him have a bunch of negative thoughts going through his head. Thomas goes to the mind space later {To talk to/get a hug from Patton to cheer himself up without bothering others} and Virgil just immediately goes up to him and is just apologizing profusely, lightly pulling at his hair, as he's slightly starting to panic again.  "I'm sorry- It was a stupid thing to get you to panic over, I didn't mean too.  I'm sorry... I'm sorry I'm sorry... I'm sorry-" just over and over.

Because he's so desperate to not be seen as the bad guy again, to not be evil again, to not be an outcast again, that any little slip up with these sort of things make him panic even more...

Thomas obviously reassures him and says it's okay, Patton soon enough comes downstairs to see what's going on and helps comfort them both, with hugs.

[Tw Sympathetic Deceit]

Somehow {It's probably Roman's fault} Virgil gets turned into a cat, or more like a kitten, He's very small, black fur, with purple eyes and has claws but they are dull and too tiny to hurt anything.

And Deceit {Again probably Roman's fault- Or maybe Logan's.} Gets turned fully into a snake.

Black scales, with golden/yellow sorta stripes, and obviously the yellow eyes, He's also incredibly tiny and so are his fangs.

Patton, Roman and Logan trying to figure out what happened and they just hear hissing. They look over and see Virgil and Deceit attempting to bite one another. They're chasing each other. Deceit is a bit too fast for Virgil to bite and he can't bite Virgil, because his fangs are too small to actually hurt him in any way, so all he can do is sort of attempt to make Virgil trip over him. Which works.

[Human Au]

Roman and Patton always have had a tendency to black out at random points and wake up miles and miles from where they were and out of their way, they always somehow end up next to each other and have no idea why. {That's actually how they first met.}

This obviously got terrifying, after a while. But, one day, they realize what's happening.

Roman looks in the mirror quickly and thinks he sees something different... He did a double take and saw a man looking almost exactly like him wearing a purple and black patchwork hoodie. He tried to scream but nothing came out, it's like his voice had been muted completely.

The man in the mirror held a finger to his lips and all Roman heard was a faint "Shh..."

This happens to Patton as well, but his reflection has half of his face covered in snake scales, and he had a gray and cloak with a yellow outline and a black hat. When Patton made an attempt to scream, a noise was made, but it wasn't loud, it sounded muffled as if someone was covering his mouth.

The "reflection" just chuckled and shook his head "Don't try to scream... No one can hear you..."

Tears fell from his eyes “You’re just going to leave?! Don’t you know what you are to me??!” The other only laughed, it was false and bitter sounding.

“An annoyance? That’s all I was to you! Someone like you, shouldn’t be annoyed, you’re too important. So why not just get rid of the problem?” He asked as he took a step back, closer to the edge of the cliff, he was too close now, one more step or even a slight shift back would cause him to go tumbling down the ravine.

Logan panicked, he wasn’t used to this, his thoughts, feelings, and emotions became quick words without him even intending to say a majority of them…

“No! You’re wrong! You’ve become the one side who challenges me, who can challenge me to do better! You’re the only one who thinks and makes me feel as though I’m important and valid in my position. Like I matter to someone! I don’t know truly if I ever mattered to you! I could never tell, but if I do… If I matter to you in the slightest fraction of how much you matter to me, Roman… You won’t take another step off the cliff.”

Roman is at some kind of bar or club and he meets Patton there. The two begin talking and it’s fairly innocent at first, then after a few hours (and drinks) it becomes incredibly flirty from both parties, around that time is when Patton fails to notice Roman subtly slipping the wedding ring off of his finger.
