Oh God. I think I found the Thrud of the Samurai Troopers fandom. You really can't escape these types of people can you? Yap so much but say nothing worthwhile. I can't believe these people are grown adults bruh.

I just found out that both Naaza and Rajura's seiyuus were on B't X! Issei Futamata (Naaza) was Juggler, while Kosugi Jurota (Rajura) was Misslim. What's funny is that they kinda traded character archetypes: Juggler is the cunning one in pink, and Misslim is the inhuman-looking one with green hair and pale skin.

Ronin Warriors fans from the US are lucky their side of the (pretty much defunct) fandom is so tame. It helps that the series is not popular now. They'd cry if they had to encounter the average Latino Saint Seiya fan. The drama and arguments, plus fanaticism would send them running for the hills lmao

The way everyone's wondering how the Minecraft movie became so successful and why people want to go watch it is like what happened with Cats the musical. Both have a very simple premise with almost no plot but end up being FUN. They appeal to the masses and also found a dedicated group of fans (children) who are the primary source of revenue. AND, both have a dedicated group of haters who believe people should be "smarter" and "more cultured" than to patronize screenings. Cats was pretty much considered what we would call "slop" today. It's all one big circle.

Toralei from Monster High is what I imagine an anthro Bombalurina would look like. G1 for adult Bomba, and G3 for a young kitten who skips school with Demeter and flirts with Tugger and Macavity.

I could quite never tell if Cye's accent in the EN dub of Ronin Warriors was supposed to be British or Australian. Personally, I prefer the latter since I hc him as a Japanese Aussie (born and raised in Australia) who moved back to Japan after his father passed away.

The colors are a little bit richer in-person, but I think they turned out well either way. They were really fun to make, and maybe I'll sell them when I finally start the fanmerch shop I've been thinking of for several years now. I have to say, my fav out of the 4 is Mistoffelees because his charm compliments a lot of the bags/purses I own haha. Which kitty is your fav? 💖

Welp, I made it. As much as I don't like juggling multiple Tumblr blogs, I think it's better to separate topics so they don't get all muddled up. All Italian renaissance stuff will be posted there from now on, not here anymore. It'll mainly be about historical figures like the Medici, Sforza, d'Este, artists (Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Botticelli), etc. A mix of real history, and my own fanart + thoughts.

Wondering if I should just make a separate Tumblr blog for my renaissance posting. It'll probably be posts of me talking about historical figures/facts, as well as fan art and concepts for my own historical-fiction-fantasy story. I like separating my interests into different spaces, plus, I don't want this blog to be all mixed up. If you look through it, you will see me talking about stuff so wildly different from each other (shows you my range of interests lol).

Anyway, I'm still thinking about it because although I have had a huge interest in the Italian renaissance for many years now (I didn't talk about it until recently since I usually only talk about fiction online), I don't regularly update all my blogs and sometimes leave them alone for months.

If people started powerscaling Cats, I'd probably pull this shit too. While 2019 movie Macavity did have a stupid plan, classic Macavity would've tanked Mistoffelees' magic tricks easily.

Soo question what got ya into cats the musical is it recently?

So, I've been familiar with Cats since I was a kid. My dad is a fan of Andrew Llyod Webber's musicals and would play the songs a lot. I used to listen to them and watch the shows (1998 and terrible quality boots my dad could find) quite a bit. Recently, I saw the 2019 movie, which made me re-watch the 1998 show. It felt nice to hear stuff from my childhood again.
