When you try to get the textures on your character’s eyes to work in the arnold renderer but end up making mime-themed nightmare fuel instead

Test renders from the environment for my student film. It’s my first time using the Arnold renderer in Maya so I’m still learning how to work it, but so far I’m liking it a lot more than mental ray ouo

Once I get the rig completely fixed on my character I’ll upload some test renders with my character on here

It's almost done! All that's left to do is some minor fixes on the lip sync and it should be all done OUO Next one will be the final, finished lip sync.

Body animation is done, and now we're starting on the face animation. Blinks, eye movement and brow movements are done, all that is really left to do is the actual lip sync. If Maya doesn't crash too much I could probably finish the animation tomorrow.

Here’s an update on the animation I’ve been working on to keep my skills from getting rusty. Doing a bit better, getting closer to getting to the end of the audio clip. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish the body animation soon and start on the lip sync.

AnimationWIP_01: Emerald

It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded anything…been a while since I opened up MAYA too…

I’m going to try and animate with some of the audio clips I picked for my animation class this past semester that my professor didn’t end up picking for my projects, so that I can keep my skills from getting rusty and get to use the audio clips bc I liked them.

If MAYA can stop crashing on my computer for reasons unknown, maybe I’ll be able to finish this by the end of the week. This is what I have so far.

Here’s the latest work on my second lip sync project for my animation class OUO Aside from some minor fixes I still need to do the body animation is done, and I’ve started blocking out the jaw movements for the lip sync part. Hopefully I can load up more as the project goes on

It’s finally done! Here’s the editted, rendered version of my lip sync project I’ve been working on for the last half of the semester OuO I’m rather happy with how it came out.
