So it has been two days since our performance at Carnegie Hall, and I’m still struggling with a way express all my thoughts and feelings. It’s hard to put into words how fantastic of an experience this was - right now it sits right below getting married to @rodchile.  A huge thank you to my husband, parents, and friends that showed up to watch.   To my flute crew, @jezwi001 summed it up perfectly that, “We may be an army, but at the end, we were a family.” The largest void of the summer will be our Monday night rehearsals, and I’m already starting to count down the days until the next season. Well here's a fail I didn't realize until now. I bought this awesome desk calendar from my favorite store in Chile (CasaIdeas, of course) and now realize that it is illustrated for the (opposite) Southern Hemisphere seasons. Whoops!

Quickly falling in love with this YSL lipstick, especially with the drab NYC weather we are having today. Received as a Christmas present this year, before Rod had me open it up he said, "Every year I always want to buy you something to make you feel beautiful." Confession? My heart nearly exploded with love ❤️ when he said that. #husbandgoals

Our little soccer fan, as soon as Rod turned on the TV to watch the Arsenal game Aidan (who was sleeping up by us) pulled himself out of the sheets and promptly put himself in front of the TV so he could watch the game. ❤️ http://bit.ly/2im6J8a

We call this "the blanket of doom" for a reason. Nobody lasts more than 5 minutes with it before passing out. Rod and I bought this blanket (as well one for my mom) in Chiloé (in the south of Chile) a few years ago on a vacation. Made of sheep 🐑 wool they are super warm and help put anyone - two legs or four to sleep right away! http://bit.ly/2iRtpyf

Tonight we went to the vet to get a few fatty cysts that Aidan has checked out. Hoping they are benign and not cancerous but as much as he acts like a young pup we'd rather air on the side of a caution. God bless pet health insurance. We should know more in a week once the results from the lab come back but the vet is pretty sure they are just fatty cysts and nothing more. http://bit.ly/2inr3GS
