if you see any posts disappear or my layout change, i'm revamping my blog a bit 😭.
i'll be adding more links to my pinned, and hopefully (FINGERS CROSSED) will be opening my commissions up for the summer. i'll make a whole post or set up something with more info eventually!

hi, everyone!
an update post on my dearvo translations: i've recently resumed the project and am currently working on setting up a discord server for those who wish to help, or simply want to support the project.
i decided to open an kofi for those who wish to support me. it would help a lot, especially for me to purchase drama cds and other various j-media that i can start translating.
please consider supporting me. of course, you are not obligated to. don't feel pressured! i'll still be working on translations regardless.
thank you so much!

I saw from your main blog that you like kamen rider. Is that something you would be interested in translating? Gavv would be great if you could cover :]
i love kamen rider! it's one of my favourite series (aside from the other j-media i'm into haha)
i'd love to translate kamen rider media, but i think (?) most of its core media has been translated. maybe a few magazine articles, online posts, etc haven't, in that case i'd be willing to translate those if i had any of those medias on hand :D
gavv should be covered as it's still fairly new! if not, you can always send in another post and i can translate whatever for you! :)

hi there...! i hope u feel better soon c: i can't help with tls as i don't have the skills required for it but if u create a discord do u think i cld show some of my drvo friends on twt ^_^ ? one of them is currently maintaining this carrd (https://dearvo.carrd.co/) for current scattered tls of the series so i thought it might be helpful to coordinate though they cant tl either ;;
hello! thank you so much :) of course you can! i'm currently working on setting it up, but will definitely make a separate post once it's created!
anyone can join! i was half awake typing that post, so i forgot to mention, but anyone interested in dearvo can join too 😭 i'd love to bring the community together and hopefully get this project back in the works again!!

hi, everyone! i'm very sorry for the lack of updates with my dearvo translations.
the last few months have been very hard on me. i've been hospitalized and placed in icu for days, dealing with some family issues, and financially struggling.
i currently don't have the time and energy to work on these translations. i was recently discharged from the icu and have been resting to get better, but i realized that i can't continue keeping this up for now, or at least without any help.
i had a few ideas on how to go with this. i considered creating a discord server for anyone who is interested in helping or even supporting the translation process. we could share translations there and i could eventually make a carrd with said translations to make it more accessible.
i also thought about making a translation team. if anyone is interested in that, please let me know! i'll set up an application form once i'm a bit more stabilized. :)
i will finish the translations though! i don't want to give up on this project just yet. dearvo is a series that means a lot to me, and i really want to share it with many more people since rejet is known to not cater to western audiences (translation wise).
if anyone is interested in helping me, please send me a message here! thank you very much, friends. :)

hihii ! just curious, are you doing dearvo tls by season or character :o im quite excited since the tls for the project are quite sparse ahah ^_^;; good luck and take your time also !!!! <3
hello :) i'm currently doing by season! i thought it would be a tad easier to translate if i started with seasons before i went straight into character (if that makes any sense?)
i'm happy you're excited! i'm really looking forward to sharing this small project with everyone :D
thank you, anonnie! i hope you're doing well today 💗

hello, all! it's been a while since i've posted something here, so i'd like to give some sort of update!
dearvo and pararai translations are still in the works! it's something that i'm actively still working on, but has been on the back burner for a bit since i'm in college and recently started working as a dance instructor.
i can't guaranteed when the translations will be up, but hopefully sometime in december, or early next year?
if anyone has a good source where to find dearvo drama cds, please send me an ask! i'm struggling to find a few, which has caused me to slowdown on translations recently.
i hope everyone is doing well! take care. 💗

soooo, it looks like dearvo won! i'll be working on translations this month.
though, i'm still searching for a few drama cds, so if you know where to find them, please let me know!
pararai placed in second, so i'll definitely translate the live dramas once i'm done with dearvo!
thank you to everyone who took part in the voting! 💗
hello, everyone! sorry for the little break, i've been finishing commissions, and dealing with some health-related issues.
now, i'm back, and would appreciate your thoughts on something!
i'm officially going to re-upload all my old translations, as well as new ones!
before i do that, i would like to know what you'd like to see translated.
thank you, friends! if you have any questions, feel free to send me an ask! 💗

Hi, if you don’t mind me asking - when did you start learning Japanese and how did you learn it?
I’ve been studying Japanese since high school and agh. It can be really hard to understand the language - especially with the three writing system.
If you have any advice on how you learned it and what you did to make it stick, I’d really like to hear it!
Thank you Mayrx. I hope you have a good day or night wherever in the world you may be. 💙
hello, anon!
i started learning japanese as a kid to communicate with a friend in primary school, but didn't start fully grasping the language till i was around 10-11.
that's totally normal, honestly! learning a new language can be frustrating, especially something as complex as japanese.
one of the ways i got myself used to the language was translating small things. i would translate menus from restaurants, to random songs i'd hear on the radio.
it's also great to learn from an actual book! genki has always been something i recommend to people who are just starting out. those books were meant for beginners, and they are very helpful if you're learning/considering to learn japanese!
with the writing systems, i recommend starting with hiragana, followed with katakana and kanji.
hiragana is very easy to learn! learning it first will help you learn japanese pronunciation, as well a how certain characters come together to create a word/sentence.
a tip i can give you is not to rush into kanji!
focus on hiragana and katakana first. make sure you understand these scripts, and gradually move onto kanji! the reasoning behind this is kanji can be very difficult, especially if you're still just a beginner.
overall, just get yourself used to how the language is spoke! read books, listen to podcasts, or even tune in to a broadcast. just getting yourself familiar with the culture helps a ton.
i'm sorry if this doesn't make any sense. it's 5am and i'm running on zero caffeine lol. if you anymore questions, feel free to send in another ask, or direct message me!
thank you, friend! i hope you're doing well. have a wonderful day/night! 💗

Hello Mayrx! I saw your poll and wanted to ask if you’re spreading out of otomes and including other japanese media on your blog. I would to see more japanese media coverage especially for things like DearVo, Hanadoll, Paradox Live, Ensemble Stars!!
hello, anon!
to answer your question, that's the plan! i've been wanting to cover other jp media, but wasn't sure if others would be interested since my old blog was solely otoge.
since i opened comms, it made realize that i should branch out!
i hope this change isn't too big for anyone. i'll still be sharing reviews, as well as other otoge based content!

PSA - DO NOT DO THIS.
when you commission someone, let them know ahead of time that you're not interested, and not at the last minute.
it's common courtesy. just assuming 'lack of communication means you're not interested' means nothing.
communicate with who you're commissioning, and don't waste their time.

I’m so happy you’re back! Your old blog was one of my favorite otoge blogs to scroll through. I hope you have a more easier time on getting walkthroughs, translations, and reviews up. Take care of yourself Mayrx 💙
thank you very much! i'm glad you enjoyed my old blog, and i hope you continue to support my new works here, too! please take care, anon. 💗

I’m from your old blog and I was wondering if you were going to create new walkthroughs and link about your old ones here. I’ve always liked them and you have helped me many times on getting the good ending ☺️
well, first of all — thank you for supporting me! it means a lot that you followed me over here. :)
to answer your question, probably? i'm currently gathering links from my old blog, and planning on making a masterlist for all my walkthroughs.
for my release/upcoming release posts, i think i will delete those and make new posts here.
i hope that answers your question, anon!
