[Arjun]: “You speak of our tribes — are you not the last remaining grey wolf from the sacred valley of the sun? Do you deny this as true?”

[Diego]: “Ah, you are referring to the literal meaning of my surname. Yes, aside from my child Maizie, I am the sole survivor of my family.”

[Diego]: “I see the parallels between us. Gyra is your only child, correct? It is fortuitous that our children have found one another.”

[Arjun]: “Indeed. Gyra is my only heir and successor to the Empire's throne to bestow to his future Queen to rule. His mother, my Colony Queen, tragically passed away.”

[Diego]: “My condolences to you and Gyra, Your Majesty.”

[Arjun]: “As Mynta declined her role as my chosen Heiress, I congratulate you on behalf of my Star tribe as the future heiress of your lineage embraces her royal duty to the Empire of Sixam.”

[Diego]: "Thank you. Maizie has always been fascinated with Sixam, thanks to Mynta, and has long dreamt of visiting. So, her relationship with Gyra and her proposal acceptance is no surprise."

[Diego]: "May I ask when Gyra proposed? He mentioned earlier that he had not yet done so. Maizie did not mention this either. Given our close relationship, I would expect her to tell me of such a significant event."

[Arjun]: “Gyra delays a formal proposal at the request of our royal heiress. This is a topic I would like to discuss with you further, given your close bond with her.”

Chapter : THIS IS FOR YOU : 41 — Not a Fan 🐍

[Roosevelt]: “Dr. Livius Lizgard**!? A threat to humanity!? HA! You cannot be serious?!

Then why will he be back in charge of running our government's space program and the National Science Foundation? Who chose this position for him? Surely this isn't your decision.”

** [ For reference on the mention of Livius — they are a character who was first revealed in the chapter called ‘STRANGE NEGOTIATIONS’ over on my Origin Simstagram @ sass.berry.origin story. ]

[Gyra]: “Come now, you realize who chose Livius and where his loyalty remains. This decision is beyond my control — for now. His allegiance stands with my Father. Yet he fears my presence, so this will be your card to play against him.”

[Roosevelt]: [ sarcastic tone ] “So there are cards to play. Who knew I was such a gambling man? Well, that's great. I get to work with that creep of a supervisor instead of you. I'm thrilled.”

[Gyra]: “HA! I can hear the enthusiasm and appreciation in your voice.” [ amused laughter ]

[Roosevelt]: “I remember what my parents said about him. ‘A snake in the grass — watch where ya step.’ You never mentioned his species — what IS he?”

[Gyra]: “He is a Saurian from the constellational realm of Draco. Father found him as a hatchling, so he remains loyal to us in servitude. He is merely a pawn to my Father’s bidding and our political leverage against his kind for intergalactic peace.”

[Roosevelt]: “Ah. So the rumors ARE true. There are lizard people among us. How unsettlingly disturbing. I wished I never asked about him. Yet it makes sense given what you told me before about your people harboring and relocating the offspring of other species.”

[Gyra]: “Speaking of which, congratulations again on your offspring. I must say I'm envious to your news. Yet, I am exceedingly happy for you and the future of your legacy. You do realize I have the ability to inform you both of its identity — yet I sense you are already aware.”

[Roosevelt]: “What!? How’d you — Oh, that's right. How could I forget your ability?

Listen, I’m not sure how I managed to tap into the family ‘gift’ but I had a ‘vision’. Don't mention any of it to Dhara, I'd prefer her to be surprised about the baby during the ultrasound.”

[Roosevelt]: “Although, You shouldn't be envious. Despite your illness, you are currently experiencing an exciting life transition. I spoke with Maiz earlier, and she said she’ll be leaving for Sixam soon. Does she know?”

[Gyra]: “I'm impressed. No. I'm preparing for her arrival; we’ll have that discussion by then. First, I must propose. Of course, simply asking her is insufficient, in Diego’s opinion. He reminded me of that today. However, I want it to be a memorable moment for us.”

[Roosevelt]: “Yeah, well… Diego doesn't know Maiz like he thinks he does. Maiz would prefer low-key, so she'll be thrilled as long as you ask her. It's YOU — she wants you — not some pomp and circumstance of public display. She's down to Earth and different than her parent's high-bar expectations. You know this, man.”

[Roosevelt]: “Gy, you got a moment to talk about work?”

[Gyra]: “Yes, as a matter of fact, I had hoped to have this discussion with you before my departure. Most accurate timing. Perhaps over a game of chess?”

[Roosevelt]: “So, what are your plans for the labs, Space Y, and the replacement of your position? If you consider me a candidate — I’d prefer to run the labs and continue my parent's work.”

[Gyra]: “I am aware, which is why I’ve summoned my replacement. We need to discuss this with Maiz. I’ve yet to mention my decision to her.”

[Roosevelt]: “So, who did you choose as your replacement?”

[Gyra]: “Dr. LIVIUS LIGZARD** will return as my replacement, or rather I should say to his former position. You’ll continue to be in charge of FutureSims labs in OS and the containment of ΜØŦĦ€Ř at Lab X in StrangerVille.”

[Roosevelt]: “Sh!t, Gy. Tell me you’re joking. My grandmother AND my parent's former supervisor return as CEO!? Come on, man, folks will be suspicious of the length of his tenure and that he’s unaged.”

[Gyra]: “It matters not — now the proverbial feline is released from its material encasement; everyone knows of our existence on this planet. Nearly all the staff will remember him or comprehend he’s an extraterrestrial being.”

[Roosevelt]: “True. I remember meeting him many times in the past. I recall my parents discussing his species. Remind me again, he’s Sixamian, right?”

[Gyra]: “No. To call him a Sixamian would be a high honor to his kind. He is the species of our enemy — and a threat to humankind. I suggest you, Dr. McDowell, withhold from trusting him implicitly, particularly concerning your working on your parent's research.”

[Gyra]: “Roosevelt, you should tell Maizie the news before she bursts from curiosity. How is the human idiom quoted? — Curiosity ceased the Feline.”

[Maizie]: “HA! Close enough, babe. It’s all about technicality. You’re not wrong, though.”

[Roosevelt]: “Do you want to tell her, my love?”

[Dhara]: “No, you tell her, I want to watch this reaction.” [ amused breathy chuckle ]

[Roosevelt]: “Maiz, Gy — Dhara and I are expecting a baby!”

[Maizie]: “Are y’all serious?! Wha!? When — when did you find out!?”

[ Gyra]: “Roosevelt! Dhara! Congrats! This is exceptional news to hear! Is everyone aware?”

[Roosevelt]: “Ròz and Diegs, of course, but we wanted to ask if y’all wouldn’t mind us sharing the news at dinner.”

[ Gyra]: “Of course! We’d be delighted!”

[Roosevelt]: “Maiz, what say you!? You okay!?”

[Dhara]: “Roo, I think she’s in shock!”

[Maizie]: “Of course I’m okay! This is the best news ever! I had a feeling about it, but honestly I thought it’d be an engagement announcement but this is so much better!”

[Roosevelt]: “HA! Slow down, Maiz. One step at a time. We’ll get there one day, I’m sure.”

[Maizie]: “Dhara, come here! AAAAHHHH!!! You’re going to have a baby! Oh, how exciting for you both! I know Unc is probably beside himself!”

[Dhara]: “Thanks Maiz. He is! He practically fainted when I showed him all the positive tests. He’s already started buying things and thinking up names.”

[Maizie]: “And how do you feel?”

[Dhara]: “I’m excited! But also nervous. Roo is a giant man — I’m concerned about how big the baby will be by the time of delivery! This baby will probably come out with a college degree.”

[Maizie]: “HA! True! All our fam are tall and sturdy. You have every right to be concerned. [ softly laughs ] Don’t worry, G’ma was as petite as you, and she obviously survived having him.”

[Maizie]: “Mama did say he was a big chunky baby. I think she said he was 12 lbs. at birth. Well, hey! You're fierce! You got this!”

[Dhara]: “12 pounds! OH, MY NO! Please tell me you're joking. What have I done?! I wonder if I’ll ever be able to walk again. I barely survive Roo as it is now. Maybe the baby will be petite, like me.”

About this story :

A 'Sims 4' Sci-Fi Conspiracy Family Legacy Story originally taking place in the small town and outlier bayous of Willow Creek. A poverty stricken, low income creole family encounter life-altering circumstances based on the foretelling of a complicated destiny with the supernatural and extraterrestrial; governmental cover-up and mind control. In this ‘Future’ timeline as the main story – the René Berry family legacy is currently on Generation 3. The family no longer struggles with poverty, but they are navigating through issues caused by the actions of the previous generations in the Origin Story.
