I found an article written by a woman who pretended to be 11 year old girl online for 7 days, and it has a lot of descriptions of online sexual abuse of minors, but with the right point of view; minors cannot consent and have no agency in being sexually abused online, and it’s on adults to protect them from ever being put in the danger of becoming a target of predator. I’m going to post a link because I want all my underage followers to know how predators online talk, what they will say and demand of you, and to recognize on spot when someone is trying to sexually abuse you. If anyone has ever talked to you in this way online, if you recognize any of that behavior in someone you chat with, you should know that what they’re doing is illegal and a crime against you. You are more than allowed to shut that conversation down and block the predators, and if you can, report them. Nothing that happened in those conversations is remotely your fault, and just the fact that you were exposed to something like that means this world has failed you. Here’s the article.

Astrology: 5th House love VS 7th House love

There is often subtle confusion about the nature of romantic relationships between the 5th and 7th houses of a natal chart.

While the 7th is “you and me” romance and love, the 5th House love is more focused towards ones self and what they have to offer. 5th House says “I can give these qualities to you” while 7th house says “We share these qualities together” - this is why the 5th/7th Sextile.

The 5th House is about expression oneself, in the same nature and way that the sun expresses itself as it naturally resides in that house (as well is traditionally rules by Leo, a romantic fire sign). The 5th House is all about the glamour and fun of romance and dating. It shows what you like to do on a date, and how you express yourself romantically to your partner. It’s all about giving gifts in a generous offering of the self, as well as giving ones time and attention. There is still a great sense of separation from “you and me” in the 5th, hence why it’s often associated with ‘casual dating and sex". The native in this house isn’t ready to commit, but is willing to give some parts of the self for fun, but it’s not to share - it’s simply to show.

In the 7th the self (1st house) is then combined with another in a relationship/compromise. It’s where 2 individuals (1st house) become 1 again together. The 1st house is about ourselves alone and where we stand in the perspective of the world around us. We identify qualities and project the qualities we don’t associate with into our partners, close friends and people we openly dislike due to great amounts of indifference. In the 7th house, the other person forms a sense of completion within the self as someone who possess the qualities we don’t, and together, become a whole.

The 7th house describes who you attract to complete you (1st) and how you act in a compromising relationship with another (7th).

Transit: Moon in the 8th house

I decided to write about this transit a little bit because I’m dealing with it right now and it’s left me with my feelings all over the place. So…writing about it seemed like the best solution (maybe the cap moon jumped out). 

This transit happens to everyone once a month for a few days. As with any other transit, it affects everyone in different ways because charts differ from person to person. Everyone’s chart has different placements and aspects. This will just be a general, brief post.

The eighth house is a house of extremes, taboos, shared funds, inheritance (not just material). It can be house of relationships based on inequality. It’s a house of power and transformation and due to it’s connection to Pluto, maybe even a house of release or letting go. Our fears often lie in this house. Moving on, as we know, the Moon is a luminary. The “planet” which rules   emotions and home. How you feel and how you deal with those feelings. The moon represents the things that you hold close to your heart. It represents the unconscious. It may also show how you nurture and care for others.  It shows what makes you feel at comfortable. 

With the Moon transiting through your 8th house, you’ll likely experience your emotions much more intensely than you would any other time. This is often reflected onto the people around you (as this is a house that involves others).  It’s a good time to dive into that intensity and accept it, a time to let go and release whatever intense feelings you have (whatever those may be). Have a good cry if you need it, have an intimate chat with a friend, do something creative to let it all out. You may find yourself going from one strong emotion to being completely fine.

Venus - Ascendant Positive: Very commonly seen as beautiful/handsome. Generally very graceful in attitude, maybe a bit flirty. Venus - MidheavenPositive: These people aspire to be well-liked or they may put a lot more importance on their physical appearance. Negative: May be the kind of person to consider themselves “married to their career.” They may find that people become envious of them. They also may not get enough recognition in their work. Venus - MoonPositive: Lots of love and very sympathetic. They have a soft vibe to them and are very caring and very loving. They put a lot of emotion into their passions and their relationships. How they look and how their surroundings look may be important to their mood. 

Negative: could be emotionally manipulative, let their relationships define them and how they feel about themselves. May be somewhat vain, and may also fake some of their intentions. (No negative since Venus and Mercury can only form a sextile, or a conjunction and the conjunction would be positive in 90% of cases since Venus is a benefic and mercury is neutral).

Positive:  Lots of passion in love and relationships, and an equal amount of passion for their interests. Physical attraction is part of how they are in love, and. They usually attract those who are physically attractive to them. Other’s might also see them as quite physically attractive. Lots of energy is put into their passions. An alluring presence is likely. 

Negative: Can be overly assertive or somewhat manipulative in love (Mars is the lower octave of Pluto). Can value physical attraction too much over mental and emotional attraction. They may be the kind of person to look for a relationship simply for the sexual and physical areas of it, rather than all the emotional ties. Can rush into romantic relationships too quickly without giving them enough time to really grow.

Venus - Jupiter 

Positive: Good fortune could be likely especially if one of these planets is in the 11th or even 5th house. Romance, beauty, and art are big themes in the lives of these people, and for the better. I don't like thinking of certain characteristics of the signs as “developed” or “undeveloped” because we're all constantly changing, evolving, and developing. The binary developed/undeveloped language makes it seem as if you'll one day reach some perfect manifestation of the placements and aspects in your chart when in reality that can never happen. There is always room for improvement.

...what's an "ultimate ascendant"...????

it’s what i’ve seen multiple people call the ascendant on the ascendant persona chart. it’s also FAKE AS FUCK. it’s NOT A REAL THING. 

tl;dr: You must know your birth-time to within a fraction of a second in order for the ascendant on your ascendant persona chart to be correct. it can’t be done. even if you know your birthtime to the minute (AND you can be 100% positive that your birthtime was accurately recorded with a clock showing the correct universal time), you have a MINIMUM uncertainty of ¼ of the zodiac wheel.

here’s why (feat. math): so ok the persona charts are constructed by erecting a chart for the exact moment that the sun conjuncts that point in the natal chart during your first year of life. the idea is that the sun “wakes up” that point and then it gets all these extra layers and stuff. already this is weird to me because i don’t know why the sun is being elevated to that kind of importance and i also don’t know why people’s charts need more depth than they already have. but whatever, let’s pretend to be on board.

so let’s think about the math. we need to know the exact moment the sun conjuncts the ascendant. so - how fast does the sun move? it moves roughly 53/60 of a degree per day. this means it moves through 1/60 of a degree every 27ish minutes. in one minute, the sun moves through roughly 1/1620 of one degree. so in order to construct the persona chart at the minute the sun crosses the point, we should have the degree of the point down to 1/1620 of a degree. ok hold that in your brain for a sec

now, how fast does the ascendant move? the actually calculation method for the ascendant can get a little tricky, but the end result is that the ascendant goes through 30 degrees every 2 hours, approximately speaking. So 1 degree every 4 minutes. ¼ = 405/1620 of a degree every minute. 1/1620 of a degree every 0.15 seconds. you need to know your birth time to 0.15 seconds to get your correct “ultimate ascendant”

some applications and approximations: so you know your birth time to the minute. you know your ascendant to ¼ of a degree. the sun traverses ¼ of a degree in 6 hours and 47.4 minutes. that’s almost 3 ½ entire signs for the ascendant. 

you don’t know your “ultimate ascendant.” zero people on this earth do.
