I was looking at the differences between the JP version of Style boutique 2 and the version I had which is the EU one and i noticed that there were a couple of different things. Mainly being small things but things nonetheless Here's the difference between the Japanese copy of SB2 and the western copy. Arabella and Tarquin are both White in the JP version but are Black in most other variations of the game.
1st image JP(Girls mode 3)/ 2nd image ENG Noor is also white in the JP version
Though, Callie remains tanned/light skin in her appearances. I'm thinking that this is done as a regional thing for Japan, i cant say for sure though given I didn't make the game!!
Another thing about a different style boutique game is the very first one! Rococco is actually a Man in the JP version of the game and is called Pario and actually has facial hair. But in the EU and USA copies of the game, Rococco/Pario was changed to be a woman.
A different subject is that the male Kimono from the first style boutique game to be on the 3DS was removed in the US and EU versions of the game.
I'm just fascinated by these things in games where there's regional differences and its strange to see it in a game I have so many hours put into. I'll definitely keep digging and see if there's any other differences between the games.

btw while I'm working on that style savvy shrine on my website. I've gone through and ripped all the sprites for the 16 brands from the original style savvy since it appeared that nobody had done it yet on the spriters resource site :3

I don't have the switch so I won't buy this unless it's very very good.
It looks cute although not what I wanted and I'm very excited to see how it will be possible to create our character.
But I'm very worried about the gameplay: I don't want to be walking around looking cute and pretending to be an influencer and that's it. I hope there's more to it, that there is a storyline too. I know it's not style savvy, it doesn't mean it has to be Stylit for switch.
I would have preferred less pastel, anime-like graphics though... I'm tired of this style, it looks like Stylit and it was a mobile game.
On a more positive note, the physics are much better, it seems like we have an open world, the styles are more diverse and we'll be able to color swap. I'm especially satisfied by the hairstyles.
I have a childhood friend who also played Style Savvy so I guess she'll buy this and I'll try it with her switch. If it's good I'll buy my own later.
