I really don't get why people are so upset about the recent archon quests not having voice acting. They are literally on strike against A.I. So support them or shut up! I get it's upsetting to not have voice acting for the main story but if it really bothers you, play in a different language or wait until the strike is over. I'm sure they'll add voice acting to it after. Fuck A.i.

There is a game that I play about Genshin impact’s seven nations and their problems. I call it “Are They F*cked”

Basically I take the major over laying problem of the archon quest and determine if they are doomed if the Traveler was not there. In order it is:

Monstadt: Fine

Liyue: Fine

Inazuma: F*cked

Sumeru: Complicated

Fontaine: Fine

Since Natlan is not finished I’m not sure quite yet if they’ll be doomed without the traveler. I have no prediction because I’m not exactly sure where they’re going with this yet but I’m leaning towards that they’ll be fine because they all seem like capable warriors. But we’ll just have to see.

The amount of white characters in Natlan is honestly astonishing. And I can’t say anything more than others haven’t already but I don’t think I’m going to spend any more money on this game until I see some change. Because just wow.

When you are making a game where the whole premise is that your main character is going around the world to different nations and you’re bring real life cultures into it but refuse to put dark skinned people in the game is actually disgusting. We had this problem in Sumeru and now it’s an even bigger problem in Natlan.

I’m not going to ask you to do anything. Like boycotting the game or anything like that but if you care about seeing actual representation for people of color and their culture I suggest you stop spending money in the game like top ups and welkin until we see some change. Because that’s what I’ll be doing.

Hoyoverse as a company is not gonna care about your posts or likes about this problem they are only going to care if their reviews and sales plummet. STOP spending money and use the section of review in the game on the pause screen for Genshin to voice your complaints. I want to see change and we need a lot of people to see it happen.

Fontaine looks like what I wish Mondstadt looked like.

Like if Mondstadt came out now instead of early game it would probably look like Fontaine.

Floating islands. Lots of mountains.

Compared to other regions it’s very flat and little boring to look at. It’s got interesting lore but aesthetically speaking it’s a little plain.

Got a bit of a late start to it but I knew this shit was gonna be like ace attorney and danganronpa.

You’re telling me we’re going to the nation of justice and we’re NOT going to have a trial sequence? Impossible.

The only thing is I thought the traveler was going to be on trial. Oh well. There’s still time to be arrested for all the crimes the traveler has committed.
