The test subject's brain interpreted the increase in carbon dioxide levels in it's blood as a decrease in oxygen levels

Symptoms included fast and deep breathing and an increased heart rate and hallucinations that don't necessarily have to show you terrible things

Due to the sudden change in the body, which cannot be fully assigned, it automatically reacts with anxiety

So it mostly triggered an indefinable fear

His second gas consisted only of quinuclidinyl benzilate, which caused hallucinations

After further experimentation, Jonathan found some irregularities in the BDNF protein in people suffering from PTSD

From that fact he drew: if tweaked a certain way by some kind of chemical agent, an alteration in the BDNF levels in the basal lateral amygdala would bring up personal fears caused by past traumatic events

So Jonathan somehow combined BZ (quinuclidinyl benzilate) gas, Carbogen gas and the chemical agents that specifically could target an alter, CRH (an neurotransmitter involved in causing feelings of dread and anxiety), BDNF and created his first real fear aerosol.

Slashers Getting You Pregnant

So apparently this wasn’t showing up on any tags or anything so I figured I’d repost, enjoy :)

Thomas Hewitt:

When you found out you were pregnant, you weren’t very scared of the family’s reaction. You knew they would be over the moon to find out a new member would be joining their family, well maybe not Hoyt but that didn’t matter much to you

You wanted to tell Thomas first before anyone else, you had thought about telling Luda Mae because it was your first pregnancy and you were scared of how it would go, what if something went wrong? How do people ensure their pregnancies are safe? 

As much as that all mattered to you, you decided that regardless of all that. Thomas was the father and he deserved to know first, Luda would find out soon after and then you can have that conversation with her

You waited until later that night, after dinner was over and it was just you and Thomas in your shared bedroom, both of you settling down for the night.

Now Thomas was not completely ignorant to what was going on, he had noticed your morning sickness and other symptoms. Of course he didn’t know what it all meant, so he went to his mother for answers. When she mentioned pregnancy his eyes almost fell out of his head, sure he wanted a family of his own but he didn’t think it would come so soon.

With all of that information, it still was a surprise when you did tell him the news, it had only been a possibility before, but now it was real and actually happening. He might have a heart attack here and now. Excitement and happiness were rushing through both of you as he pulled you into his arms. Everything was going to be okay.

Luda Mae was over the moon at the news, she had her suspicions and she was damn glad to be right. A new member would be joining them in the next nine months!

Thomas will take any lesson he can from Luda Mae on how to be a good parent, he will do anything he can to make sure his child has a nice life. He knows how hard life can be for some people, and will make sure that nobody hurts his kid or does anything to make them feel less than they are. His child will forever be a star in his eyes.

RZ!Michael Myers:

Michael has thought before of having children, it stemmed from when he went away to the asylum and came to the realization that Boo wouldn’t be a baby anymore when he found her again. Maybe he could have a child one day to recreate the feeling that Boo gave him when he was little.

When you and him got together, the thought of children had already passed his mind and seemed impossible. He wouldn’t be a good father, growing up he had a horrible father and so far he hasn’t seen any other role model for a father figure. But with everything you’ve shown him throughout your relationship, maybe his view could change

When you discovered you were pregnant, horror went through you. Michael had never talked about kids before and with his tendencies, you didn’t have a single clue about how he felt about kids. You never dared bring it up because you figured he’d be against it. But now it seemed as though you had no choice but to find out how he felt about them now. Hopefully it won’t be too bad right?

Surprisingly enough you were correct in your thoughts. Although he wasn’t jumping for joy, he wasn’t angry either. He stood there in silence at the news, not knowing how to fully process it. He was going to be a father? A thought that was impossible to him was now happening, did he want it to though?

You were torn when he walked off suddenly, maybe he wasn’t as okay with it as you thought. But then again Michael has always been one to think on things by himself, so you let him think on it.

Michael came back later that night, his perspective on it decided. He would try his hand at being a father, maybe he could do it differently than it was done for him. And of course having you as the baby’s mother was a good thing too, he knew you were fit to be a mother and that gave him confidence

Trust that his child will be protected no matter what, nothing will happen to the boogeyman’s kid, anyone hurts them or does anything to make them upset? That’s their last move, nobody messes with Michael’s family.

Otis Driftwood

Otis? A father? Like that would ever happen. He’d never dare bring a child into this world, he had better things to do than that

He didn’t even think about relationships, he was the kind of guy to fuck and the leave them in the dust, dead or alive. But then you came along and had to shake everything up for him. That was a big enough change as is, like hell he’d want another shake up in the form of a kid

Well sucks to suck Otis cause now you’ve got a baby on the way. You told Baby and Mama before you told him, and they offered you nothing short of support. It made you feel a bit better about the pregnancy, but even they couldn’t sooth your feelings about how Otis would react, they didn’t really tell you much different than you already thought

But who knows, maybe he’d have a change of heart when he finds out. You ended up being a little right about that, he wasn’t as against it as you or himself originally thought. He was surprised to hear the news to say the least, and he needed time to process it all. 

He won’t be as happy with it until the baby actually arrives sadly, it takes him that long to fully process that he is a father now. But once that baby does come? He’s fine to take up that mantle, he’ll show his baby the way of the world and shower them with all his creative ideals

The baby will definitely grow up to be creative like him, so be prepared for that. You’ll get plenty of artsy gifts, both macabre and tame. But living with the Fireflys for as long as you have, you see the beauty in the macabre and welcome it the same way they do

All in all, the baby will be loved by the entire family for sure, and it will grow up to be as crazy as them as it grows up. But you and Otis see nothing wrong with that at all

Billy Loomis

Billy is the king of mommy and daddy issues here, so his view on being a father is skewed as well. He’s both scared of being like his father and failing his kid and scared of you potentially walking out on him and his kid

Now it’s nothing personal against you, it’s just the fears he has because of his own parents. But trust he will love the kid

He would prefer to have a child later in life, so if it happens while he’s still in school it’s going to be very stressful for him. He's got other things to worry about, like school and killing people. He wouldn’t want his kid to know he was Ghostface, he might like killing with Stu but that doesn’t mean he wants his kid to do the same. He knows that he’s fucked up for killing, and if his kid does the same to him it means they’re fucked up and he failed them. He wants his kid to live as normal of a life as you two can give them

He might push for an abortion if you two are still in school for those reasons, but you decide to keep it and he supports that decision too. He might be upset for a bit and anxious but he knows he can do it and you’re the mother so you get final say. He’d never abandon his kid just because he’s in school so you don’t have to worry about him walking out on you

Stu would be stoked about it too, be ready for the best babysitter there is, he’s rich so just know you’ll never run out of stuff for the baby. Stu is determined to be uncle #1 and be the baby’s favorite person outside of the parents obviously

Billy would be determined to be the best father he can for his child, he’ll be there for every game, concert, doctor's appointment, anything the child has he’ll be there for it. He doesn’t want to make the same mistake his parents made, and that’s what drives him to do better and better with his family

Stu Macher

Stu is over the moon at the news of being a father, you don’t have to worry much about him not wanting to support the kid. He’s rich and had good parents, he knows what to do. He’s always been a party goer but he knew eventually he’d wanna settle down, and he wanted that with you

His parents taught him a bit about parenting, but he has no problem picking up parenting books to learn the rest with you. He will happily attend classes with you and help you with anything you need during the pregnancy. He’ll also be your number one cheerleader when you’re in the delivery room, much to your annoyance and joy. It's hard to enjoy it entirely when you’re in labor. Don’t worry he expected that too, he’s not hurt by any comments you make, you are about to push out a baby after all

He is willing to give up the mantle of Ghostface for your little one much to Billy’s dismay, but he understands that a child is a big deal so he’s not going to be too angry at Stu. He trusts him not to say a word and rat him out so everything’s good. You’re lucky he trusts you too, that had to be earned the second you started dating Stu, so good for you on that front

Stu is a big puppy at heart, he will melt the first time he holds his kid, he will do anything for them and will support them no matter what. If his kid wants to throw a party he’ll make sure it’s the best party anyone’s ever thrown, he totally wants his kid to outdo him, it’ll make him so proud 

Stu has the capacity to be a great father, you won’t have to worry about him skipping out on anything, he might gag at the dirty diapers but if you need him to change one he absolutely will. Anything for his partner and kiddo.

Dating Wanda Maximoff Headcanons

This will probably be multple parts as I come up with more things, but I just had some ideas for what it would be like to date Wanda. There’s no real storyline, just a bunch of headcanons :) 

Wanda loves cooking breakfast over dinner, she will 100% agree to breakfast for dinner if you ask her nicely.

Wanda is a big small spoon cuddler, from her years of feeling alone, it feels great to have someone hold her, it makes her feel safe

You have to be patient with her, a lot of reassurance is needed after Vision’s death. She doesn’t want to lose anyone else so please assure her you aren’t going anywhere

If you’re a sucker for small and money saving dates then she’s your gal. Wanda will always take a nice picnic date in the park or a trip to the nearest beach (depending on where you are) 

Wanda loves her children more than anything, so some dates may include them, but they’re very nice and well behaved so it’s hard not to love them. Plus it can be very cheap to take them to the local community theater to see the latest kids movie that’s come out

She loves any style you may have, she adores the darker colored clothes just as much as the lighter colors, she’s swung both ways in fashion so she’s developed a love of lots of styles

Hand holding is a must, your hand fits perfectly in hers, she loves to intertwine her fingers with yours as you grocery shop, drive, cuddle, and any other time she can get to hold your hand

Most disagreements and arguments aren’t very loud or filled with anger, she’s learned to handle her anger and talk through any disputes with maturity and a level head, so arguing with her isn’t very stressful. Most of the time, a solution to the problem is found quickly and efficiently 

Wanda has been through a lot in her life, so some things are harder than others for her. She might have days where her past clouds her mind and it’s hard to make go away, but if you’re there for her and hold her hand through the bad memories, it makes everything okay for her. She’s a tough woman, but she still sometimes needs a shoulder to cry on too

All in all, dating Wanda is a wonderful experience, she’ll shower you with love and affection and all the support you’d need. There might be some bumps and bad days but the good times make all of it worth it

A Stormy Day

It’s been so long since  I’ve written anything on here! I thought I’d use my other tumblr for my writing but I’ve just stayed logged into this one so I’ll post it here! This is the first time I’ve written for Otis and I know I’m probably a bit rusty since I haven’t written anything in so long but I hope you guys like it! I just thought this idea would be cute, sorry if he is a bit out of character I tried my best <3

The rain beat down on the window as the wind roared outside, lighting flooding the sky followed by the deafening boom of thunder. You and Otis are piled up on the couch watching the tv while you still could before the power inevitably cuts out, his arm around your shoulders and your head in his chest. Baby was on the other couch, all sprawled out as she payed attention to the tv as well, her feet swinging along the edge of the couch.

“I swear, we ain’t had no storm this bad for years, I can barely hear this damn show over the thunder,” Otis grumbles.

“Oh it ain’t that bad Otis!” Baby teases, “at least you get to cuddle up with your honey and watch it all pour down out there. It’s better than watchin whatever shit this is on tv.”

You chuckled at her words and reverted your attention back to the tv, truth be told you’d been very excited for this storm to hit because it meant nobody was gonna get anything done today and you could spend more time with Otis. He had been so busy over the last couple of days prepping for Halloween you’d almost forgotten what his face looked like since you’d seen so little of him. Okay maybe that was an exaggeration but you still missed spending time with him, especially around this time of the year.

Baby had helped you decorate the house for Halloween, boxes upon boxes that were piled up in the attic filled with decorations were now strewn out along the living room and kitchen, some still half full and others completely empty and needing to be put back. Luckily though, when the storm hit, you got the luxury of being able to just hang out with Otis and the family since most of the work needing to be done was outside of the house. 

“I’m glad we finally get to take a bit of a break, we’ve been up to our asses in Halloween decorations and hung up body parts that we’ve barely had any time to spend with one another. So I have to thank the rain for slowing us down,” you piped up, turning to look at Otis.

He gave you a grin and leaned down to kiss your forehead, “yeah course you’d say that, I know you been goin’ crazy not seein your favorite person that much huh darlin?” 

A blush spread on your cheeks, “well when you put it like that..”

Baby put her finger in her mouth and faked a gag, “get a room you two, nobody needs to see y’all be all gushy and stuff.” Otis glared at her and she giggled, getting up to put some boxes away before getting a drink.

“Maybe she’s right, there’s always other ways to pass the time other than watchin tv,” Otis gave you a sly grin and you knew exactly what he meant.

Before he could say anything else, the tv was turned off and you were pulling his arm, dragging him up the stairs to his room. He was right, there are other ways to pass the time, and you had the best idea for a way to wait out the storm.

How The Ghostface Began: A Look Into The Life of Billy Loomis

This isn't finished, but this is a fictional piece looking into the life of Billy though his eyes. Not sure if I ever want to eventually turn it into an reader insert but so far this is just the beginning of Billy's story. Courtesy of my alter Billy, who holds the memories of his movie counterpart and agreed to help me write this. I want to write more horror based fiction along with writing fanfic of some of my favorite slashers. It'll probably be more Billy and Stu centric but we'll see.

Billy Loomis never found much enjoyment in most of the everyday activities people invested their time in. He always found it to be a waste of his energy. He liked to do a select few things, only chiming in on the other dull events so that he could maintain his reputation and keep people at a safe enough distance. The last thing he wanted to be labeled as was the ‘weird, quiet kid who sat alone in the corner of the room’ as Stu so graciously put it to him one day. Stu was the main reason he actually went out more than normal, and he couldn’t come to a decision on whether to view that as a good or bad thing for him yet.

Stu would drag him to his obnoxiously oversized parties and force him to mingle, and that’s how he grew to his height of popularity. Well, that and his ability to be the perfect boy next door, the innocent boyfriend, or the protective guard dog that would linger behind you to make sure you got to where you needed to be safe and sound. He put on a lot of roles to ensure nobody thought of him as anything but perfect, and so far it’s worked out well for him. He can do whatever the hell he wants, whenever the hell he wants. Not like his dad ever really has anything to say on the matter, as long as he doesn’t get arrested then whatever he does goes completely under his father’s radar. That was a fact he loved to take advantage of.

But with being popular comes the total lack of space and privacy. He can’t just leave a room to decompress and he has to double down on hiding the darker parts of him, especially when girls get a little too close for his liking. He had to admit, while he knew he was very attractive to the masses, he never enjoyed the girls clinging on to him like he was their source of life. He just wanted to go home, not be bombarded with questions about what he likes to do on the weekends and if he’s free .No he’s not free, he's just got the newest horror movie to come out and he wants to review it in the comfort of his own room.

Billy Loomis never wanted to feel anything close to love, he found it useless. Who would want to love him anyways? All they could possibly love is the mask he puts on for them, how many girls would actually date him if they found out he didn’t care for them in the slightest and has thought about 10 different ways to kill them, at the very least, he normally loses count after the first 10 or 12 times. He was not a good person, but he didn’t really care. He did whatever got him through the day so that he could just be by himself or finally spend some time alone with Stu.

Stu Macher was his best friend, not in a gay way of course, Billy doesn’t swing that way. But Stu was the only person who knew Billy for who he was, and could agree with his thoughts. Stu liked the thought of killing people too, and that was only solidified as true in Billy’s book when he went to Stu’s house for the third time and Stu got the bright idea to show him his workshop. Dolls were strung up on the ceiling, hanging by nooses and Billy could’ve sworn one of them had the same hair and eyes as Casey Becker, but who was he to theorize over dolls? He’d find out soon enough, and he did. It didn’t take long for Billy to find out Stu was the same as him, and that’s why they became best friends. Stu Macher was the only person Billy has ever fully trusted and he let him see what was really inside of him, and there was not one trace of judgement on both ends, Billy never let out a word about what Stu really thought inside either.

Not once did he ever think to stray away from his usual patterns of activity. Yeah, he thinks about killing people a lot but he doesn’t actually have the guts to do something like that. Neither does Stu, and they both know that. Sometimes the itch became a little too much and sooner or later Billy would have to scratch it. That scratch came in the form of starting fights if he was ever in a bad mood, they never went too far, he knew better than to destroy what he’s built over the years. But he couldn’t help himself, he had to let out his anger and his thoughts somehow. Fighting was better than totally ending a life, and he was sure in his thoughts that everyone else on the planet thought the same way about it.
