follow-up to an old comic of mine to share how transition care changed my life

i dunno if there’s any comforting thing i can say to trans people painfully waiting for transition care - or being denied care - right now, but i hope you hang in there and know there’s hope for a better future

an old now deleted tumblr post from 2012 gave me inspiration to write this. prolly none of u guys will see this because im unfamous but heres 4 the people that will. make sloppy drawings. run slow. pick daisies during soccer games. hit each other with sticks in the woods. dress up in neon colors because you know its cool. grow out your hair, then shave it all off. smile. i mean smile your REAL smile. pet every animal you see. sit down randomly in public. laugh your real laugh. be friends with the people you want to. dress how you really want. make stupid, unfunny jokes. wear messy makeup. we are a grain of sand in the vast, vast sandstorm that is the universe. we wont be remembered, so why the hell does it matter what people think of you? be you. the real you. we all are forgotten anyway, so you might as well be yourself before all the time flies by. you wont regret it. would you rather be someone you're not, or be truly happy? it's your choice. thank you.
