Small Announcement

This is a heads-up for anyone still planning to apply to Scorched Paws: Rolling application will close in a little over 24 hours! The application form will officially close at 11:59pm (EST) on March 22nd.

After that, the server will be closed for new members until we feel ready to accept more people! There is no set date for this, as we want to go with the natural flow of the server and what feels right both for Staff and our server members.

Rolling Applications Open!

Scorched Paws rolling applications for both the Metal Scrappers and the Wayfinders are officially OPEN!

They will be open from now until March 22nd, 11:59pm (EST)! Unlike our previous openings, characters submitted during this period will be approved as they come, meaning you can hear back from server Staff around 24h after submitting!

Apply to our server through the form below!

Once this week of applications is over, Scorched Paws will be officially finished with the first set of applications for the server. Don't worry if you didn't manage to get in, we might open again in the future!

Remember to check out our Character Creation Guidelines when making a character to help you!! Check out the Wayfinder's Information and the Metal Scrapper's information to know more about how they live, their culture and their ranks! If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask!

Everyone who applied can expect to hear back from us on discord soon, sometime in the afternoon of the 16th! Maybe sooner, maybe later, it'll depend on how our day goes

How are numbers doing, have you gotten more or less wayfinder apps then scrappers?

Overall the scrappers are still ahead with total number of apps, but if we look at this time last week (about 4:15 pm est) the wayfinders are actually ahead by one!

If things go like the last application, there's a chance people will submit their characters close to the deadline too :}

Small Announcement

This is a heads-up for everyone planning to apply to the Wayfinders in their first opening: their applications close in a little over 12 hours! Their application forms will officially close March 15th at 11:59pm (EST)!

But worry not, for those still interested in the server who didn't have time to apply for both colony specific openings, our Rolling Applications open March 16 at 12:01am (EST)! Folks will be allowed to apply for either the Metal Scrappers OR the Wayfinders!

Because they will be Rolling applications, we will review these submissions and invite the accepted applicants likely the same day or the day after we see the application. This means you won't have to wait out the week to discover if you’ve been accepted or not!

Again, we're incredibly thankful for all the support and interest in our little server and we can't wait for the roleplay to start off!!! :D

Hi folks! We wanted to let you guys know that 2 maps with the roleplay's setting, as well as information about the travel between them have been added to the website :}

i'm working on my app now and getting SO EXCITED to meet everyone!!!

Things are going great! We’re all super excited to have characters make connections and slowly working on weaving stories together along with past events and backstories! :D 

And of course! The Scrappers allegiances page won’t be published until we can complete it properly and when it is, the current members of the colony will be there for folks to know and see :D For now though, have this little sneak peek!

Everyone’s super excited to see what kinds of kitties will arrive with the Wayfinders, that’s for sure! We can’t wait until we have both colonies here and roleplay finally kicks off >:)

Hello! With Metal Scrappers in the server and Wayfinder applications live, do you know how many people will be in the server total? :0

We do not!

There’s still quite a bit of time until the Wayfinder applications close and another week for rolling applications after that so more people might come in last minute and such

We don’t currently have a limit of people we plan to accept, though Scorched Paws is probably not going to be a super massive server or anything like that. If we did open with a hard limit of how many people we’ll accepted, that’ll be mentioned upfront

Hi! i sent in an oc application and was going to do a separate one for Bucket. But I saw the ask saying that if you're doing two characters you do it within one application? Would applying separately for bucket erase my OC in the form?

It would not!

The application is set up in a way where you can do both characters (adopt and OC) all at once. When you select that you want to apply to an adopt, it'll take you to a page where you'll be able to submit your ideas for it and so on

At the end of that section, it'll ask if you also want to submit an OC, and that'll take you to a page you can submit all the information you have for an OC

If you only applied for an OC and later decided you do want to apply for an adopt, you can just let us know in the section of the application where we ask you to talk about yourself. Just make sure to let us know!

We have unfortunately caught this ask too late (we apologize! there was a lot to organize both for the server and in real life), so you're not going to be able to apply to Bucket anymore, but this goes the same for the Wayfinders
