Hey, question/recommendation:

Why didn’t Tiger and Bunny get as popular as My Hero Academia? I wanted to recommend it to some of my friends, and they said it sounded like my hero, but it literally came out first. Tiger and Bunny was 2011, and My Hero Academia was 2014/2016.

If any of y’all like My Hero, I’d recommend Tiger and Bunny too. It has heroes (more adult heroes than the kids you see in my hero), and focuses more on the corporate and monetary abuse of them, while still being silly. I absolutely love it; I’ve watched it like 3 times.

I could be completely wrong but I would not be surprised if this reaction is caused by the long-rooted idea that men are “allowed to be violent” because it’s “natural” but oh no, not women. Whether people realize it or not, this ancient ideology still exists subtly.

Obviously this is nothing against the characters. I love Revenant and I love Maggie. But it is against the players reacting like this.

maggie is the next legend and suddenly people have the moral high ground. “she murdered innocent people” why do you suddenly care about this now. i better see the same sentiment for revenant and caustic and probably many other legends
