god i wish i was good at taking pictures of things i knit/crochet. incapable of making the things i make look as good as they look irl
#made a thing i am so fuckin excited about. cannot post about it because it is a gift for a friend and i have to give it to them first#but also...... cannot make it look as good as i'd like on camera 🥲#listen i worked so fuckin hard on this beast it rips#i designed almost all of it from scratch and what i didn't design i heavily modified to match what i needed#i have worked on this for two months............ it looks so good........ why can't i make it look the way it actually does on camera 😫#not art#honestly i should just make another blog and use it for knit/crochet because that's basically all i do now as far as art is concerned#am about to finish filling a sketchbook for the first time since i was 19#and almost the entire back half is draft sketches for crochet beasties or knit clothes lmao#this is also the reason i have not been posting on this blog. because i have nothing to post but crochet and none of the photos look good

edit: whoops forgot the pattern, it's here [link] but i modified it by adding a body because i think it's cuter that way
#i can now crochet#and will be making Creatures with this ability#and am excited to make said Creatures#but i am also very happy with this little guy who is fun to hold and squish and makes me feel happy#he is stuffed with yarn and fabric scraps and made with leftover baby yarn so he's very soft and i love him#anyway i guess i should have a fiber arts tag even though i'll probably never post knitting on here#yarn and etc#seems like a good one

i'm gonna be deleting my redbubble shop on the 28th before the new fee structure gets put into place. just wanted to put that out there.
