It makes words feel like you have to wade through molasses just to get from one to the next. Your train of thought hasn't even left the station yet because the conductor fell asleep

One thing about brain fog that I don't really hear mentioned is how it makes conversations and hanging out with friends so hard, like there have been so many times I've been hanging out with friends and they're telling me something but I just can't comprehend it because of brain fog, or I can't think of anything to say to keep conversation flowing so I end up sitting there in silence, or how there are so many activities and games that I just can't join in on because my stupid brain won't cooperate.

This commission was done by @verkomy, and it is quite WONDERFUL! I could not have asked for any better. She took what I asked for and improved the idea with her own art skills, which are fantastic on their own. I love this piece SO MUCH!

Ah I think I’m art blocked again.

The truth is that lately (actually this whole year) I haven't felt like drawing fanarts at all cause they don’t bring me as much joy as they used to, which results in my irregular posting cause I feel like I have nothing to show to the world that might be interesting to the people following me.

I feel the need to create more art for myself that is a bit more me, maybe something a bit more personal, but I feel like something is blocking me and after so many years of creating fanarts there is a question lingering in the back of my head of “am I really creative or am I just good at copying?”

It shouldn’t be an issue really, someone could say “just draw whatever you want, what’s the problem?” but I think I’m a bit stuck with what I’ve been creating lately and with what I post and show to the world. I’m really happy with the current skills that I have though, it’s the topics of my artworks that are bothering me and it all makes me feel a bit lost.

it's so wild to me that you absolutely cannot force a hyperfixation to happen. like you'll watch the most perfectly tailor-made-for-you content that everyone says you'll love and feel absolutely nothing, and then the thing you watch on a whim to fill time will reach through the screen and put its damn fingers in your brain and start rearranging the neurons right in front of you and every single time you're like THIS??? THIS??????? and this happens like every 6-12 months forever

did you guys know that when you are in bed at night time, you can turn on a lamp, put a really soft blanket around your shoulders and read your book?? and sometimes it will rain??? did you know that???? the wonders of this life do not cease!
