Year 1 Origo Vitae Etro came forth from deep soil as rain showered her with life. Her arms thin and frail, clawed at the ground to heave herself up onto the surface. She cried with the effort, her strength was not enough but the six moons that shined over her from the heavens granted her her first wish. “Give me the will.” Etro prayed and Hexatheon, the six gods, descended from the skies to show her what she could be if her heart wants what it yearns.
Exordium And when she saw them, the Archaean, the Fulgurian, the Glacian, the Hydraean, the Draconian, and the smallest god, the Infernian; Etro became blinded by their holiness. Lonely in the world that is her, she wanted to praise Hexatheon and give her their blessed light.

Flight of Bahamut Bahamut, the most powerful moon above, revolved fastest around Etro. Pulled her oceans even as far as ripping Leviathan’s hold on the waters. But they did not argue, for it is for the best that Etro remain adored. Judgement Bolt Ramuh, ancient one who sleeps eternally in Galdin Quay. Lived longer than all of the remaining gods combined, longer still, will outlive every being until the end of light. Judgement Bolt, the single attack that lights Etro’s skies at night, and at worst, strikes down those who threaten her safety. Although he never strikes the same place twice, afraid that hurting her would lead to Bahamut’s anger. Diamond Dust Shiva, goddess that kissed death farewell at Tenebrae. Gifted the worldly goddess with winds of frost, the Diamond Dust she calls them. Motherly Astral that loved Etro as if she was her child. She sang of the cool breeze that wrapped the world in innocent snow. Sea Serpent Goddess Leviathan, sea serpent that guards the waters of Altissia. Out of amusement for child Etro, she created clear blue oceans to cheer the lovely girl child of the world. Even through Bahamut’s force of the tides, the sea serpent provides her with water from the mountains that she drinks, and thus, Leviathan’s purpose is fulfilled.
The Disc on Atlas Titan, rock giant who carries the Disc of Cauthess on his shoulders. Wrath of Gaia would crush those who harm Etro and the Archaean would swallow them whole.
Light the Night Sky Ifrit, the horned fire god who fell from the heavens over the Rock of Ravatogh. Smitten with the beauty of the world. He courts Etro and brought knowledge of fire to her people. He offered her the power of the sun, but sweet Etro refused to burn her world. And thus the Infernian became humble as man. Hexatheon, six gods that watched over Etro. Hexatheon, six moons that gave her power over the elements. Hexatheon, six Astrals that adored and revered her too much. Hexatheon shined down on Etro, heeded her call and summoned their manifestations. “Dear Etro, what is it that you ask?” Bahamut ever supreme, asked the young goddess. “Life other than myself.” “That which you desire shall be granted.” Hexatheon agreed and Imanity was born. Humans worshipped Etro their mother goddess and she heard their praises. She buried her hair under the soil and from it came the trees and plants. She dipped her feet in Leviathan’s waters and fish and sea creatures emerged. Blowing bubbles and popping them with her fingers, she created the air that Imanity breathes. Stole the goddess from her bed and bound her in her bones. Etro was forcefully fed with human fruit, the manifestation of the world never lived to see the light.
The Rage of Ifrit The wrath of Ifrit was abominable. Fires burned down cities and volcanos destroyed islands. With the rage of a thousand stars, he calls to the other gods to start a massacre. Hexatheon’s Offense on Imanity Hexatheon responded with violence Imanity never knew possible. As Leviathan flooded the shores, Ramuh fired Judgement Bolt over and over everywhere, not bothering that he striked twice on the same place. “Etro never wanted this betrayal. Imanity would pay for what they have done.” Shiva sang with the bite of winter and blasted the mountains with winds that would freeze everyone in place. Titan would never forgive those who dared lay a finger on the world child. He opened up the ground and swallowed the people whole. And so, after the trail of mortal bodies, Bahamut created a disease. He turns his back on the gods and saves the last of Imanity. Only children were left but Bahamut doesn’t grant mercy. Not this time. With the strength of Etro’s will to protect her children, Ifrit goes to war at Ravatogh. Hexatheon battled for years. Bahamut the powerful, fell at the fire god’s hand in a duel to the death. Nyx 🠒 embodiment of night, primordial goddess of darkness
“Two demon fiends there are, called by the name of Furiae, whom darkest Nox brought forth at one and the same birth with hellish Megaera, breeding all three alike with the twining coils of serpents and giving them wings like the wind … the spawn of Nox.“  -  Aeneid 12

Nyx
Tumblr media
Nyx was the goddess of night. Her name, synonymous with Night, describes how her dark light falls from the stars and she dictates to men and also to the gods. Not even Zeus wanted to upset Night, as the stories go. She was one of the most powerful goddesses to be talked about in Greek mythology.
Nyx lived in Tartarus which was considered both a place and also the name of her brother. It was said that she spreads around him in triple line like a necklace. The stories say that at and above the gates of Tartarus are the sources and ends of heaven, earth and sea. It is said that if a man found himself inside the gates, it would take a year to find the bottom and he would be carried by blasts in all directions. Nyx lives here and this dark-robed goddess, the giver of sleep lies here.
It is said that both Day and Night live here in the same home, behind the gates of Tartarus yet they are never there at the same time. The myths say that when one, either night or day, crosses the earth, the other will wait at home. They will greet each other only at the threshold where Atlas holds up heaven.
The exact origin of Nyx is unknown. Some sources say that she is the daughter of Eros and other sources say that both she and Eros are children of Chaos. Some sources even say that Nyx is the mother of Eros and that she laid a germless egg in the bosom of Erebos and the golden-winged Eros was born (after many long ages).
All those who favor mischief and misdeeds are said to get along great with Nyx. Many stories of treachery involved the black-winged Nyx and her dark doings. It is said that during the Trojan war, it was Nyx who protected the spies. It is also said that she is with fugitives and thieves who escape or move about in the night doing evil deeds.
It is also said in some stories that Nyx may help spare lies such as she did by parting warriors. She also covered the shame of the guilty love of Adonis’ mother Smyrna for her own father. Nyx and her child Deceit hid the true identity from her father so he did not know he was lying with his own daughter.
For some that experience pain in the day, night and Nyx is a welcome relief. They welcome her into their lives and their arms. For others, night is a frightening time where you never know what is lurking in the shadows or what Nyx’s children may do. For others, there is no difference in day and night and they care little for what Nyx may do, although it is said that Nyx will destroy what day has done.
Nyx is not all dark or bad tidings. Night is also the time for inspiration and it is told that the muses sing during the nighttime to the gods and to Nyx herself.

𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: Nyx, the goddess of night and stars, is the second spawn of the god Ardyn born out of darkness, anger, and regret. She was created out of the darkness of war and started the dark ages of the war on Etro. With jet-black hair and a ghostly complexion, she held the stars in her eyes and constellations were formed from her cries. The shadows gathered around her as if forming a protective barrier, yet the illumination from beyond the shadows was unmistakably astral.
‎‏‏‎ 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Growing up, she was soft spoken yet misunderstood to be of a darker nature than she really was. She had always struggled to have balance between good and evil and is partial to the former. She’s usually inclined to using her powers to capture and torture those who abuse the darkness of the night to commit malicious and ill-intentioned acts. She loves her family to a fault, wherein she will use her powers to protect them at all costs.
‎‏‏‎ 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞: Brooke Alstreim established and owns Isla Astralis, an island resort in the Bahamas, along with her sister Erin Alstreim. This takes up most of her time as a businesswoman but on some nights she works at bars and nightclubs as a bottle service worker to entertain herself. Her other hobbies include reading and lounging on the beach, fully immersed in the mundane world of humans. She can be bubbly and fun, but that entirely depends on the company present. Otherwise, she is known to be more serious.
