ABOUT ME
💀 I go by Meleagros. My pronouns are he & him.
💀 I’m majoring in mortuary science.
💀 I’m a Hellenic polytheist. More specifically, my worship is a speculative reconstruction of ancient Greek religion.
💀 I’m not an academically trained classicist in the traditional sense! I’m just autistic and don’t know how to stop buying books!
💀 I’ve studied under Dr. Ellie Mackin Roberts (through H. M. Classics Academy) and Dr. Gregory Nagy (through HarvardX).
💀 I have a shop where I sell divinatory services!
💀 I’ve signed the Xenia Declaration (and you should too)!
💀 I’m a Haides devotee.
💀 Necessary Clarifications (WARNING ― Mentions of Abduction & Assault): I don’t personally believe that Haides and Plouton are one and the same. As such, I don’t worship Haides as a god of wealth but as the king of the dead. This iteration of him does not partake in the cycle of reciprocity; and can be described as stern, unsympathetic and cruel. With this in mind, it should come as no surprise that I believe Haides kidnapped and assaulted Persephone, as is seen in the Homeric Hymn to Demeter. If this makes you uncomfortable, I understand, and you are not obligated to follow me.
