When you step into sunlight, you honor Apollo. When you admire the moon, you honor Artemis. When you admire cloud shapes, you honor Hera. When you smell petrichor, you honor Zeus. When you laugh at a joke, you honor Hermes. When your body twitches to dance at a particularly upbeat music, you honor Dinoysus. When you enjoy the first bite of your breakfast, you honor Demeter. When you choose your peace over any conflict, you honor Athena. When you warm yourself up by sheltering yourself in blanket, you honor Hestia. When you listen to Ocean sounds, you honor Poseidon. When you smell flowers, you honor Persephone. When you admire the coolness of first day of Autumn, you honor Hades. When you wear your favourite jewellery, you honor Hephaestus. When you smile, you honor Aphrodite. When you exercise, you honor Ares. When you light a torch in a dark room, you honor Hekate.
Your body is a shrine to Gods, your being an act of devotion for them. You, by yourself, are enough for them.

Prayer to Hephaestus against wildfires
Lord Hephaestos of the Smoldering Kilns—
tamer of the flame and shaper of smoke,
lover of the ashes and crafter of unmatched skill.
i plead with thee to tame this wild beast.
quell the roaring spirits whom consume all they touch,
their greed unquenchable, destructive, and smoldering.
thus I call to you, my savior, undying Hephaestos—
Klytomêtis, Klytos, Aithalóeis Theós—
bend back this unruly beast and strike down your mighty hammer.
show mercy to us, God of the Scorching Heat,
that we may sing your praises to the unburned skies.
for i will remember you with this prayer, and again with another.
Klytomêtis (Κλυτομητις) - Famed for Skill, Crafts
Klytos (Κλυτος) - Renowed, Famed, Glorious
Aithalóeis Theós (Αιθαλοεις Θεος) - Sooty God

- if engaged or married (or hell even just in a relationship) spend some time with your partner even if it’s just sending funny memes to each other
- watch documentaries about any of her sacred animals (cows, cuckoos, lions, peacocks)
- learn about lion conservation efforts
- if you have kids or any younger siblings watch a movie or show with them
- learn about the importance of battered women’s shelters

- learn about blacksmithing, carpentry, sculpting, etc.
- if you use a mobility aid: use it
- be kind to service workers
- if able support small businesses
- watch glass blowing videos (I used to live in Virginia and we took a field trip to Jamestown and watching the glass blowers was so cool I’ve been obsessed with it ever since)
- watch one of those fireplace videos if you can’t light a fire for whatever reason (and if you do have an actual fire going practicing fire safety is also a great way to honor Hephaestus)
- learn your rights as a worker these vary from place to place so look them up and brush up on them to ensure you’re not being screwed over in any capacity

Chronic headaches? Pray to Hephaestus!
The basis I have for why this works is that when Athena was pushing forth from their fathers head. It’s said that his headache was so horrific and unbearable that he called Hephaestus to cleave his head open to relieve the pain. I think a lot of us can relate to that. I’ve found that even if my headaches don’t go away, coupled with pain killers and other methods, it makes it tolerable.

Greek gods as feelings
Aphrodite: having a secret admirer, when you’re laying down listening to sappy songs because you can
Artemis:running around barefoot as a kid, when you sit down with your cat/dog after a long day
Apollo:learning how to play a new instrument, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee
Ares: winning the argument that wasn’t really a argument , dancing in your room after dark because no one can stop you
Athena: finally understanding something that never made sense before, cursing at someone who deserved it
Demeter: the fact you are keeping that one (1) plant alive , eating fruit just because it tastes good
Dionysus: laughing so hard your ribs hurt, the warm feeling you get when someone uses the right pronouns
Hades: watching shitty horror movies and yelling at the screen, sitting around a Bon fire a little too late
Hephaestus: going to a museum by yourself right at the crack of dawn, getting your phone to work just by turning it off and on again
Hera: going to the zoo on a first date and eating cotton candy, watching your sibling play in the sprinklers
Hermes: winning bored games that were taking way to seriously, stealing an older siblings jacket for a party
Hestia: finally getting motivation to clean your room, going to a animal shelter to play worth the older animals
Poseidon: listen to waves as you fall asleep even if they’re just on your phone, going to a lake that you’ve never been to before
Zeus: hearing the wind out side your window later at night, driving home after dark on a clear night

Hephaestus is a part of my brain and my bones
His hands guide mine as I connect circuits, His words of wisdom dance around my brain, pointing out errors with a gentle voice reminding me that mistakes are not the end of the world. He visits when I solve difficult numericals, reminding me that I am capable. My brain is vast, and I can solve any problem if I put my mind to it.
A supportive presence having my back at every turn.

All these where designed for stickers on my etsy and for my own personal use to mark boxes that have my devotional items for each god in them. Only Hera and Zeus are left for me to do.

hey, my right earphone got broken and it is affecting me really bad. i can only listen from my left ear now. i have misophonia and especially human voices annoy me so much. it annoys me so much that i even nearly have anger crisis.it has a huge affect on my concentration and i cant study or read because of it . and sadly i cant ask my parents to buy me new one. i cant afford it myself either. is there any god i can pray to fix that earphone? because it got broken out of nowhere like nothing happened. it didnt fall or something it just randomly stopped working. i know this is bit dumb im sorry thank you
Hey thats alright its not dumb at all we turn to the gods for help when we need it reguardless of hpw big or small it is .
I would say you could give praying to hephaestus ( he makes and crafts things and contraptions, etc)or apollo( hes associated with music !) , a try !
You could also pray to other gods you feel close to , to help you stay positive throughout the ordeal !
I'm praying for the best for you, and hopefully, your headphones get fixed, or you are able to get a new pair !

I really wish I could make my cane into a devotional item for Hermes and/or Hephaistos. but I can’t, because it’s often on the floor, dirty, I get dust and mud on it. also I can’t figure out a way to make it pretty.
but I live through my OCs so one of them has the cane of my dreams lmao

To Lord Hephaestus for inspiration
Hear me, Ingenious Hephaestus,
Son of Queen Hera,
Father of the Kabeiroi.
He who forged armour for the greatest heroes, and moulded Pandora oh of clay,
Hephaestus of bronze, who’s glorious creations are unrivalled by all else.
If I have ever crafted in your honour, please accept this prayer, Famed worker Hephaestus,
I ask you to grant me with inspiration to create and to shape my creations with the guidance of your hands,
I ask for your favour with a token of my praise, I offer to you (offering)
