Sometimes self care is cleaning your room even though you have no energy because you haven’t in a few weeks or months. Sometimes self care is doing homework before you go to bed even though your tired because its due tomorrow and it will make you feel worse in the long run to not turn it in. Sometimes self care is waking up an hour early to get in more practice or exercise even though your not a morning person. Self care isn’t JUST about things you want to do, or things that make you happy in the moment. Sometimes self care is about looking out for your future self and improving your life in ways that may seem unpleasent. Everyone needs diffrent kinds of self care.
