What if Colourblocks had families + a diagram (Main Six)

I’ve imagined this ever since Purple’s episode where he showed his royal family, which has stumped me since. Does he actually have a family that we’ve never seen, or is it just one he made from his imagination? It hurts to believe that it’s the latter so I’m using this to cope

I wanted these families to be unique for the most part for some realism hehehehe

Red (Younger Daughter)

Maroon (Father)

Red would totally be spoiled by Maroon, she would use her puppy dog eyes on him to get what she wants and it would (almost) always work

Pink doesn’t fall for it though ;)

They don’t have a mother, since two parents aren’t necessary for children in my headcannons

Orange and Brown get their desire to be active from Burnt Orange, meanwhile Basil prefers staying in and sticks out from the three (They all love him)

Honey works as a baker, and plans parties on the side. Yellow helps often, which explains why he knew what would be best at a yellow party

You might think that Viridian and Chartreuse are stressed out from having so many kids running around, but they’re all pretty easygoing for the most part

Sapphire (Single Mother)

LORE: Blue’s dad was a sailor who “got lost” at sea when Blue was young. He wants to grow up to be a sailor as well, which is a pretty heavy situation for Sapphire

Sapphire makes sure Blue spends a good amount of time outside with others, not wanting him to feel isolated as an only child. She sometimes feels bad for not giving him another siblings for so long, but he’s holding up just fine

Plum (Father, King) ❤️ Lavender (Mother, Queen)

I headcannon that Plum and Lavender rule Colourland as a whole kingdom rather than just one land, their palace has an entire variety of colors, not just Purple

While Plum is definitely a king, he makes sure his children are kind and respectful to everyone regardless, and allows them to leave their palace to just be kids

There was a great celebration when Purple was “born”; a bright color such as his hasn’t been seen in the royal family since many years ago. Many people have high expectations of Purple for when he claims the throne because of this, but his parents, specifically his father, keep him from stressing out and just encourage him to do his very best

Purple made fun of his father for a bit upon finding out his name was “plum”

They would be the absolute best of friends - The intimacy of a king and his “fool”

I’ve been getting into Colourblocks again for some reason and I just realized how awesome it would be to see Purple and Three meet, despite a crossover between NB and CB seeming pretty unlikely as of now

My biggest reasoning for this is the King-Jester dynamic. Purple would LOVE Three’s entertainment and jokes, and Three would have a field day finding new ways to make him laugh. Both parties are happy!!! (Yes I know she’s technically more circus themed but let’s not get into that okay)

He would drag her around and call her his “fool” in an affectionate manner, but she would accidentally take it as an insult so he’d correct himself as quick as possible

PURPLE WOULD EAT HER JUGGLING TRICKS UP FOR BREAKFAST

And I honestly don’t think Purple would mind their differences, considering his reaction to meeting Black and White

They flirt in public very subtly, but everyone just assumes they’re really close friends

49 often takes 63 on her flight trips

When 63 left for space division, 49 wrote him letters every night, despite not knowing how to send them to him

Speaking of which, she was initially upset at 63 for leaving without telling her

They usually spend time at each other’s houses to see their compatibility when it comes to living together

49 typically takes care of 63, which can be a tad bit embarrassing for him

63 loves playing in the rain, but 49 has to keep him indoors because he’ll get sick easily
