Can we have your entire hair care routine please?? I don't know what to do with my curly/wavy kinda hair 😩

my hair routine is not super interesting atm!! I do a lot of the classic things that curly white girls do. I don't brush it when dry, when I wash my hair I shampoo, (this or this one), and I massage that into my scalp with one of those silicone scalp massager things. I condition, and I leave it in my hair while I do the washing of the body and such, rinse it out at the end w/ cool water. I put some curl cream in it while it's wet, and also some gel-- and I "towel dry" by scrunching it with a tshirt or a soft pillowcase instead of a towel. and I usually let it air dry, but if I blowdry it, then I use a diffuser-- and I flip my head upside down. I also use a silk pillowcase, and I used to pineapple or braid my hair at night, but it just got to be too much, so I sleep with my hair out now. I also make sure to damage my hair regularly by dyeing it all the time with harmful chemicals!

somewhere out there right now is a kid with curly hair being raised by people who have wavy hair at best and those people are giving them 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and telling them to dry brush it. and that kid is gonna spend all of middle school and high school hating their hair and moping over the flat iron. they're being told right now that if they don't dry-brush their curl pattern into oblivion every morning it means they're unkempt and gross even though they naturally have the kind of ringlets that a thousand bridezillas would commit horrible murders for every june. it's happening right now it's an absolute epidemic and a tragedy every time

Kind of a Reddit AITA post but sometimes it is a little funny to fuck with people in ways that deliberately conform to a stereotype of what they must think of you. the other day I was talking to my friend and I randomly said that I wanted a pet chimpanzee. I'd dress it in person clothes (dungarees and hats) and I'd teach it to love science fiction. And this girl nearby was like "you know how dangerous those things are, right? Also how unethical it is to keep an ape as your pet for your own amusement" and I was already seeing where the conversation was going so I was pretending ignorance like "yea but it wouldn't just be for my amusement. It would have practical points too." And she ignored that statement entirely to say "Well chimpanzees can rip faces off" and I was like. What's the most frustrating thing I can say now. Finally settled on "Mine wouldn't do that though." and you could tell she wanted to hurt me very very badly. Like a chimpanzee would if I had one as a pet

Btw, this is FAR from getting rid of the land selloff from the BBB. Keep at it. Mike Lee specifically is notable because he's from Utah, the state that's pushed for that sell off very heavily for mining income.
