“My goal is that LOVE should cover the world."
We are saddened to learn about the passing of American Pop Artist Robert Indiana (1928–2018). The artist behind Philadelphia’s iconic “Love” sculpture, you may also recall his work “Amor,” which was installed at the Museum in 2015.

SELF-AWARENESS AND WHY IT MATTERS
To be truly self-aware, you must be able to view yourself for exactly who and what you are. This means being aware of all of your good qualities, and the not-so-good stuff. One of the reasons being self-aware is so beneficial is that those of us who can see our own flaws have the ability to improve. You can’t work on what you don’t acknowledge.
The journey through self-awareness isn’t always pleasant. In fact, it can be quite uncomfortable and even painful making yourself so vulnerable. Admitting your faults is not easy. Working through emotions is painful. Finding your own beliefs can be confusing. However, it’s our most painful and uneasy times that force us to grow the most.
It’s important to note how empowering self-discovery can be, as well! It is an amazing feeling to be confident in who you are. Identifying your strengths helps to build your confidence. Identifying your weaknesses even helps to build confidence! If you own your flaws, no one holds that power over you, and you can begin to work on them! Knowing your core values is essential to self-esteem and confidence. When you operate according to your personal code of ethics, you develop a strong sense of self. Knowing yourself emotionally allows you to better control how you react in situations and work on any emotional issues that complicate your life.

For all the moms out there; all kinds of moms, single dads doing the work of two, and moms of furry babies.
For those who see Mother’s Day as painful, for any reason, I’ll be your mom today, because I love you guys. ❤️💙
