Hi, I was hoping you could help me find a story I read ages ago but I can't seem to find for the life of me.

It's one where Alec as well as most of the gang are NY detective while magnus is a medical examiner who's just joined the team. I believe it's based around the show Rizzoli and Isles, and I could have sworn it was called Lightwood and Bane but even with that I can't find it, so I don't know if it's been deleted or I'm just misremembering the name.

Any help you can give would be great!

The fic you describe sounds similar to 'Anything You Say' by milominderbinder. The only fic under 'Lightwood and Bane' found is an AU by dykeadellic where Magnus is a fashion designer and Alec is a Lawyer.

Hey, I'm coming back to the sh fandom after years and there's two fics I remember loving but have completely forgotten their titles/authors and just remember a tiny detail from each and I was wondering if you could possibly help me find one or both of them?!

Alec becomes immortal and Izzy choses to as well to come with him and see the world basically. It's very sweet.

College AU (roommates I think) where Alec sneaks food to Jace to make sure he's eating, and the siblings are generally just looking out for each other.

Hey there,

I'm looking for a specific fic, and maybe you can help me, because it drives me insane.

I don't know the titel anymore, but it was on ao3. In the fic Imogen Herondale deruned Alec and broke the parabatai bond between him and Jace, and he cant remember the Shadowworld anymore. A friend of Magnus finds him, and they all try to get his memorys back and figure out what happend. It was really heartbreaking and fantasic.

A fun fic based on real life events, but if like me you’d deleted a certain president’s entire term from your mind this is still a very enjoyable read! I loved the way Malec’s relationship developed and their bickering was super adorable.

I came into this with no knowledge of The Witcher at all but I still enjoyed it immensely. I loved that Magnus was also a witcher in this instead of the more obvious choice of sorcerer, and I enjoyed the slow burn tension between Malec as they learnt to trust each other and work together

The funny thing is, Alec and Magnus as we know them spend very little time together in this fic and yet this story is all about their bond -- how, in every different reality, their relationship is the axis of their worlds. It’s a tender and sweet story and very much worth a read.

Do you have any recs (preferably looong and on AO3, but not picky) where Clary/Jace are the primary focus/couple of the story? Finding them among the sea of Clace-as-side-pairing-to-Malec fics on there is damn near impossible, and while I like Malec as much as the next person, sometimes a girl just wants a good long Clace-centric fic to dig into. Thanks for this tumblr!

Sorry, can’t think of anything off the top of my head. But if it helps you can filter your search results to exclude Malec and the usual alternative ships (e.g. Clizzy, Jimon) to make it easier to find Clace fic.

A creative twist to the soulmate trope set in canon-verse. Loved the whole concept, and I think my favourite bit about a good soulmate fic like this one is that you get the feeling they’d be perfect for each other even without the whole soulmate business because they just fit.
