I am sure we saw the news...According to CBS News and other news outlets alike, “Celebrities and business leaders, including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, are among 50 people who face criminal charges in a massive college admissions scam.” Not enough that most of these people are affluent and have the means along with having what we know as white privilege the lengths and millions of dollars being spent to ensure their children get into these colleges ultimately taking a spot from a well deserving applicant is appalling. It makes every argument in regards to Affirmative Action being unfair mute. For this being one of many reasons why Affirmative Action is imperative.
