Hello my dears~ Hope you're doing alright out there. I decided to do something a little different today.

For many years, Glitch music and the musicians behind it have been a great source of inspiration for my stories and art. So in the last month and some change I began working on remixes and edits of some of these songs.

Now I am here sharing with you some of my favorites I worked on so far. I do hope you enjoy them as much as I did working on them!

Hey guys! Long time no see! I'm just dropping in here! Since we last saw each other, I've been working every single day on my comics and stories. It has been quite the journey!

As you noticed, these stories are of course adult in nature and do contain elements of violence, heartache, and intimacy. But each and every one I have poured my soul into.

The story and characters have always come first in both my heart and work, so if you're ever interested in reading any of them, many reach above 50-80 pages.

Hey guys. There’s a reason why I’ve been rather radio silent for a long while. A bit ago I began working on adult romance comics. It has really helped me explore new settings, new themes, and find a way to express the kind of love I want to see more in the world.

There hasn’t really been a night either that I haven’t been at work due to the fact no one has sent in a resume for graveyard work which has left me being the sole graveyard worker for many months now. 

Not everyone has been happy with the pivot and change as these works are far more explicit material. I’m usually focused on doing a comic page a night while at my job and there’s only so much time I can devote my energy and focus on.

I’ve been happy with the stories though. I’ve come a long ways and I still have many more miles to go. Given the nature of my work, I cannot post it here. There's nothing more heart breaking than seeing the ones you love apologize for showing their affection. Of seeing the worry in their eyes when that hug ends. Some of us were hurt by others, and some of us were hurt by ourselves. That's why there's nothing more beautiful or sacred than reaching back and reminding them: I love your kisses, I love your hugs. I love you.

Things can be hard. So can people. Some relationships are really different. We're not always going to get where each other are coming from, but if you want to understand, you want to love. 

You can never tell or be told enough how much you love or are loved...and if you do...look deeper. Ask what is hurting and why that was decided to be your truth.

It's almost been a year since my ask enjoying your harpy month last year and even getting a small doodle with my ask.

I want to say a big thank you if I haven't already. But I want you to know that the past year has been stressful and difficult for me.

I save up art and nice things on my phone for myself and times I feel sad and need a quick pick-me-up. Your small drawing was one of the biggest comforts in the past months and now that things finally start to get better I wanted you to know how much your little harpy helped me in these difficult times.

How did you come up with Conductor's design, was it deliberate or were you just drawing randomly and he just turned out that way? He's my favorite character in the game and a great comfort to me. This oddly designed...owl? got me into writing, and for that I have to thank you, thank you for creating such an interesting character!

Well, so early on in the train chapter there was just bird characters so I doodled around with this joke idea of a conductor who just didn't fit in with them. That's how I got to sketching this taller figure with similar traits but eyes, a curly tail, and so forth.

I wanted them just a little more curious though so I made them without eyes and being shorter, becoming a cat/bird hybrid. Tail feathers and wing-like hands but also ears and very short body fur.

Nothing makes me happier hearing you got into writing. Proud of you. :)

hello shane! its really heartwarming to hear that you wrote snatcher and painter as dear friends. something that im curious about is that judging from snatchers dialogue on the cut 3rd floor, they, at least to some degree, enjoy seeing moonjumper fearful while recognizing it as painter. im not sayimg6the 2 dynamics cant coexist, of course, but if possible, and only if youd like fo expand on it, i would love to hear your commentary on the reasoning behind snatchers actions here! could it be him being hurt and striking back after being tricked to hide the fox fire? or them attempting to help painter regain some of their autonomy through familiar objects & strong reactions to them? or did they just want their attention? and another question, if you dont mind: what part of moonjumper was even fearful: the curse or the person it fed off of?

I originally made this joke picture of the snatcher imitating hat kid and chasing her for her hat. Didn't expect to actually see that in action. It's kind of....a running theme, funny enough. My joke pictures whether it was the snatcher, conductor, or some other, somehow became part of the game.

It needs to be mentioned that a lot of my ideas were not exactly accepted too, and early on when the stories for these places were not solid, we had ideas from Jonas and others on the team meeting together with the ones that were and it didn't really mesh well. So there are contradictions and weird quirks in the early builds.

I wanted things to add up, and everything to connect and tell a deeper story, so some of these ideas were built upon what was being put down too if it didn't have a story. Like the fox mask. It didn't have a story as far as I was aware. It was just there as this cool mechanic to see hidden things. Small things like that I tried to connect and build upon to a larger narrative.

Just like the Train chapter though, I made it too complicated and too dark when the game deserved a much more whimsical tone.

It should also be noted that I wasn't given the role for writing dialogue for any of the characters. Which again, probably for the better. But that also means whatever they've said in game wasn't what I had in mind and that's okay.

In the end I think the team just wanted the snatcher to be in the manor as being the trickster getting in hat kid's way. This was at a time way before the snatcher became anywhere near the role they ultimately got.

The Moonjumper only fears the green fire, or a heat so powerful it can counteract its manipulation of time and reality, because if it loses control that means it's lost in the darkness at the end of time for eternity, coming from the figure who dreams them.
