Doing some character design studies of old-school BnBH characters from the 90's. I really liked Mike Judge's characters and design style. i wish we carried more of that sensibility into the new series.

As art director, I was able to contribute incidental character designs to the Beavis and Butt-head do the Universe special. Every one was eager to get their characters on screen, and we had several 100's of brand new incidentals in that production.

REJECTED Beavis And Butt-head Title Card Kit - When developing the new Beavis and Butt-head show, we pitched a title card kit based on the original series design, however, Mike felt it important for our new take on B&B to stand out from what was done in the past. The painted card was designed and photoshop and the text kit was designed in flash/animate.

I tried to re-imagine the space and push some of the shapes in the room, and the EPs wanted to see a more creative-looking couch. this was marching in the right direction, however, they wanted to see something a bit more grand and throne-esque. so- I went back to the drawing board.

For the Gender Studies location, I did some loose concept BG KEY sketches for the boards to use.

We did a bunch of loose concept sketches throughout the production of Beavis and Butthead Do The Universe. Sometimes we would get some boards and sometimes we would provide angles and concepts for the storyboards to use. Most of my rough concepts that were used to board were picked up by a BG artist to take to clean. -These are a few of my predesign concepts for storyboards.
