Save the Date - this week on Freedom Fridays we’re continuing our exploration and healing of the mother wound. This day is usually tough for me. I lost my mom 10 years ago this past March and although in many ways time makes things easier, in other ways these milestones have a way of bringing it all back like it was yesterday. While working with my clients, we focus a lot on inner child work and healing. One thing that has come up repeatedly is the mother wound. Our relationships with our mothers can be complicated at best and down right abusive at worst. We learn how to relate as women to our world through our observations and experiences of our mothers. This learning, for better or worse, can infiltrate our lives in so many ways as grown women, both consciously and unconsciously. Effecting our relationships and our identity for our whole lives. We may carry pain of neglect or abandonment. We may carry resentment at not receiving the type of mothering we craved. We may hold onto wounding related to our identity and how we BE int he world. Are you aware of your mother wound? I’ll be hosting a special Friday call this week exploring the mother wound via a journaling exercise, coaching and meditation. You can join in this coming Friday at 10:30aEST on Zoom: (Link in Bio 👉🏼👉🏼) PW: GsRoom https://www.instagram.com/p/CAIneB0jByl/?igshid=gxr45gomu0ua

Hey you... yes you! . . Let’s get real about something. No one has a manual on how to have a perfect relationship. In fact, there is NO relationship manual to speak of. The best we have mustered, unless we’ve taken the time to do some tough work, is recycle old patterns and what was modelled for us in our childhoods. But there is a better way. There’s a way you can create lasting love and a fulfilling relationship and it starts with you! If you’re ready to take a deeper dive, I invite you to this amazing series that I was just recently asked to contribute to. You’ll find lots of experts and expert information on how to find and create the love you crave. This is your brain on “Love” - Notice the sweet spot in the middle? I 💗 this graphic by @drmarnifeuerman who I interviewed in She Rises a little while back. ・・・ Learn the difference between love, lust, limerence, healthy love vs unhealthy love. Learn about what happens in your brain when you feel like your in love. Remember that you’re not always using the rational, logical part of your brain. You can still feel “love” and not be in a healthy relationship or with an appropriate partner. . . . https://www.instagram.com/p/B-meSe2jVd7/?igshid=wsoufhg4ekqa

#Health comes in many shades and #resilience is a marker of true health, not the lack of disease. In order to remain this way avoid the following in equal measure; unhealthy foods, dark thoughts and toxic people. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-e-4lMjMtO/?igshid=10n01bprqlaxn

This is NOT Goodbye... . . Hey, everyone, welcome back to our LAST episode of She Rises. I'm your host, Giovanna Capozza, and today I'm here with a pretty special announcement, a little emotional announcement, actually, and that is with regards to this show. On March 8th of this year, 2020, on International Women's Day, She Rises had its four-year anniversary, and man, oh, man, when I think about that, it just feels like it feels like it was ten years ago. It has been four amazing years on this show. It had me really look back and reflect. In fact, I've been reflecting on this show since the holidays, since just before the holidays, actually, on what I want for the show, where I want it to go next. What guests I want to have on and what I want to do with the show, and really what I want to do with my work and my message. Last year was a big year for me. It was a big year of soul searching, so as I approached the four-year anniversary of the show, I really got to reflecting even more and more. .. 🎧Read the rest and listen to the show using the link in my BIO👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼 https://www.instagram.com/p/B-cHz8XjMQq/?igshid=1i77omx50774a

And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.
