Oh what is this? Nana/Sulan backstory time? Don’t mind if we do💃💃💃 Thinking that she was a traveler based person back in the day, and she was born in FFM and while growing up there she learned about herbs and medicine from the young Monkey King up until she was old enough to leave the island and travel the country learning more about medicine. She’s half demon monkey and half human which leads to her growing at a faster rate than normal demons, and even faster than more magical based demons. I’m making it that she would pop in every few decades and check up on the village she grew up in, but funnily enough she never came face to face with Macaque, but knew of him, she also, when younger, thought the king and his warrior would settle down at some point, and implied she could help in the labor to an oblivious Wukong but they never did and then the attack on heaven happened, and FFM was burned down…

(Small bonus: Nana/Sulan is also the midwife for Macaque in TTM, although she is way younger there when it happens)

Anyways

The girls are fighting but nana has stopped the fighting for the sake of her patient who is sleeping literally two feet from where they are fighting😭😭😭

(take a shot anytime Wukong unconsciously calls Macaque mate or husband lmaooooo)

(I need to come up with ideas for Macaroni to do the same🤔🤔🤔)

I MANAGED TO FINISH THIS TODAY—Holy hell, I almost gave up drawing this because I was suffering with the pose and colors. I wasn't going to color this, initially, but I did anyways. And then I got lazy and didn't do the background. I tried to match up the descriptions, even the smudged eyeliner (though it probably isn't that visible bc of the effects..)
