May 11 Had a job on the 5th, and on the 7th, so my legs definitely got a workout. I stayed with Boyfriend for several days (4th-8th) but I tried to eat as healthy as possible.
Today felt good on the elliptical… missed a few days of sweating so went a bit longer.
Officially booked the vacation for January! Gotta get sexii for mexii!

This was recommended to me because it’s lactose free and tastes okay. I think I will go for a chocolate next time... But the flavour is growing on me. Lucky for me, Boyfriend knows about this stuff so I basically asked him to pick something out for me... Hahaha

May 2 Elliptical is starting to squeak. Definitely needs an oil. Did a more intense level today, keeping my speed around 50 throughout. Since I couldn’t use the machine as long as I would have liked, due to the squeaking, I added in some weight machine workouts. Doesn’t count in MFP, but it counts in my body. :)

I don’t want to just share perfectly balanced, healthy meals. I want to also show when I treat myself. This breakfast-for-dinner was exactly what I wanted and that’s okay! I’m still doing well for my intake today, and I have a nice elliptical work out planned for tonight.

May 1 Nice!! After a 15 minute walk with my doggo, still got on the elliptical. My legs were feeling kind of groggy but I still maintained a speed between 50-60 throughout. (45-50 in cool down) I’m noticing that I feel more motivated to finish the 40 minutes when I’m doing a program that arches in the middle like this. Shoulder was feeling better than it was yesterday so I used the handles more. Still took some breaks, though. Overall, very happy with today’s workout!

April 30 Haven’t worked out in 4 days because I was at Boyfriend’s house. Thinking about getting a trial membership at his gym to see if I like it. But since it’s warm out, I might as well just go for runs when I’m staying at his place. Something to think about, anyway. Felt good and warm today, so added 5 minutes to my elliptical session. However I didn’t use the arms of it the entire time because I hurt my shoulder a few days ago and it’s clicking a lot now. Back hasn’t been terrible lately, which is nice. Bought protein powder, so I’m looking forward to giving that a try.

April 25 Started to get warm and loose around 35 minutes. Probably could have pushed longer. Definitely already seeing progress! Going to Boyfriend’s tomorrow, so not sure what workouts I can fit in. The elliptical helps my back so much!

Feeling Great!
I don’t know if it’s the awesome weather, regular physical activity, or a combination of both, but I am feeling super positive lately. I haven’t seen Boyfriend in over 2 weeks, and I’m not experiencing the insecure, anxious, missing him stuff I used to. The independence is nice, and I don’t feel like I have to depend on him to make me happy. Which I’m sure makes him happier as well.

April 24 Speed was consistently over 55 RPM throughout. Going to cycle through all the program modes once, then increase difficulty by one level and cycle through again. I like the 40 minute sessions, but after I boost difficulty a couple times I’m going to try and increase duration. Still fighting this cold. Cold meds are necessary to function. Super thirsty today. Been drinking lots.

April 22 10 min warm up, 60 sec backwards every 5 min, 10 min cool down. Still have a cold, and needed the entire bottle of water throughout. But felt pretty good. Wasn’t the most exerting workout, but I don’t want to push too much while I’m sick.

April 20 Felt great to push through the part with harder resistance. Also made for good warm up and cool down. Stretching afterward improved my back immensely.
