Quick question for anybody still tuned in to this blog.

A long time ago, I archived and rebooted this Clint to get away from a lot of the porn blogs and to start him off with a mostly clean slate, and for the longest time I just lost the interest in roleplaying all together. I was busy with work, dealing with relationship stuff and I just didn’t seem to have the time. The thing is, I took some advice to try and get back into it but that’s not working so well. I’m worried that my hiatus from all of it caused me to miss out on a lot and finding people to write with hasn’t been easy and I’m basically starting from scratch.

I guess my question is, should I un archive this blog and come back to it as my main Clint? Do I even have mutuals here anymore or have I been forgotten? I’ve got all these ideas that I want to try but I can’t seem to find the people who are interested in writing them with me.

To condense it down, how do you come back to tumblr rp after an extended hiatus? If any of this made sense. My inbox is open.

Clint studied her expression and guessed that it must have looked like complete gibberish to her. He picked it up and picked a clue at random. “Any idea who the winner of the 1986 super bowl was off the top of your head? Five letters?” He asked. “Sports never were my thing. Sometimes the answers you’re looking for just don’t spring to mind as easy as a ‘Six letter word for a place that boats dock.”

He set it down on the table, flashing her a faint smile. “Something on your mind Wanda?”

Wanda took the book, frowning at the clues. She had seen crosswords before, of course, but mostly in Sokovian. One in Russian. Examining the little boxes and trying to figure out the clue, but her English wasn’t spectacular yet. “Mmphf,” she hummed noncommittally, and passed the paper back. “Why it is so difficult for you?”

He picked up the puzzle and looked at it before he offered it to her. "For me it is. Maybe you’ll have better luck with it.” Clint pushed the paper over to her. It was nothing fancy, just a crossword puzzle from the local Sunday paper. There were only a few answers written in, the rest was all hers if she was interested.

Staring down at the floor between them instead of the man offering such kind hospitality, Wanda nodded sheepishly and tried to believe his wish of welcome. Tried not to think about whether he was worth her brother’s life. Then again, every time Cooper or Lila ran through she couldn’t help thinking yes, yes, of course Pietro would have wanted to die for this family to remain whole.

“You are doing puzzle?” she asked, trying to show some interest in…anything. “It is very difficult?”

After what felt like weeks away from home, nothing felt as good as sleeping in his own bed and watching after his kids. Everyone agreed that the compound wasn't the best place for wanda, not yet, so it felt right that she stayed with him and his family as long as she needed to.

He looked up from his crossword when she spoke, setting the pencil down. "Thanks. You're welcome to stay as long as you want to."

It had been three weeks since the Avengers touched down in America, but Wanda still felt like the ground was breaking apart beneath her feet. She tried to focus on the present, on the future, but instead her mind kept drifting back to the hours she spent on that Helicarrier, sitting a makeshift shiva over her brother’s body. The Captain had been kind enough to cover the corpse with a sheet, as was customary, but Wanda insisted on being the one to sit with him no matter how tired. Nineteen years old, no family, no home, no country. Stranded.

“You have beautiful home,” she told Clint. Trying not to flinch every time she looked at him could have landed her a gold in the Olympics, she was getting such practice. “I hope you will tell me when I overstay my welcome.”
