An anonymous trans donator asked skizz if he'd say a "trans rights" for pride month and he softly shut it down saying "this channel about good times good vibes, and not anything political. I've got nothing against anything, I've driven that home."

I know it's parasocial to be disappointed that a man in his mid 40s considers queer rights a political topic and it doesn't mean I won't watch him but,,,,, I couldn't help but feel my heart sink a little as that played out live. Skizz says he wants to bring happiness, and joy, and that's literally all this person wanted. A firm, no room for doubt affirmation that Skizz sees and cares for his trans fans. I don't think he's transphobic, but I do think he has a misconception about why saying "trans rights" matters, and why it SHOULDNT be political. Pride month exists for the same reason there's a women's month, and a black history month, and a Juneteenth, and a Veteran's Day. We are lucky to be alive, and we're still fighting for our rights to this day, so we need times to just celebrate our continued existence.

And like,,,, I'm sure that he's heard a lot online but the discussion on trans rights is only political because basic human rights are being denied to trans people for no reason other than bigotry. We want basic human rights for all, for trans people, gay people, disabled people, people of color. We want the standard of care the government and its services and the businesses of our country to be better, more accessible, and affordable for EVERYONE, regardless of gender, race, political belief, religion. The fact that THAT desire is a political matter is because politicians keep denying it.

There were also members of his chat that subtlety ragged on the anonymous donator, saying it was "weird" and "cringe". I have no words for them.

I know Hermitcraft is supposed to be a safe space, and a place to get away from the world's problems, but so you know what is counteractive to that? Bigotry. Transphobia. There are so many young queer fans of hermitcraft, and to say that their existence, this one little piece of affirmation isn't allowed, is insulting and disheartening. Good vibes isn't all free speech and being neutral, it's explicitly saying "you are safe here. I see that you are in danger and you are safe."

I will also leave this video here because I think it's important to be firm about keeping bigotry out of your community, regardless if it means you get less viewers or are seen as "political"

He saw two people jumped into the void. One screaming and the other silent... Was that Jevin? That scream sounded like Jevin. Huh. He shakes his head, he must've head wrong. He focuses on the one in front of him instead.

"Hey Hypno" he greets the very terrified Hypno in front of him. He understands that seeing your friend decorated in blood is a pretty weird scenario. Especially said friend has a pair of ears and tails now.

"Etho, what the hell?!" Hypno shouts, "Are you hurt, why are you covered in blood?!"

"Nah, not my blood, don't worry about it" As if seeing him in blood isn't enough, he said that. He knocks himself mentally. Stupid. Why did he say that? Now Hypno is shooting him an even more alarmed look.

"Should i be concerned?" Hypno asks, "And why the hell do you have like, ten thousand tails?"

He shrugs, "I'm a kitsune, and it's only 9 tails! And, no, don't be concerned, everything is fine. I got in under control right here" he says as he throws a dagger with 100% precision straight to a Listener's head.

"I-that's terrifying, Etho" Hypno comments.

"Is it?" He hums, "I guess so. But don't worry, i don't usually throw it at people. I mostly pretend I'm washed up for Gem" he laughs.

"Usually?" Hypno inquires.

"Usually" He confirms. He can tell with that look, Hypno is making a list of what he should and shouldn't do when near Etho and honestly? Can't blame the guy. "So, wanna trash this place?"

"I... Sure?"

"Come on, follow me, we gotta let the people in here escape first" He leads Hypno through the hallways that looked like mazes, but he can find his way easily via his instinct. Every fights, he ends up winning, leaving the walls stained red.

"What are you planning?" Hypno questions, he doesn't respond because what he is about to do is fun. And diabolical. Maybe. "Etho-"

"Aha! Hey there, Bigb!" He busts one of the cell doors by breaking one of the redstone there is.

Emerging from behind the door is none other than Bigb, "Uhh, hi. What's going on?"

"Prison break" he doesn't elaborate because he doesn't need to. On impulse, they both followed him to the next cell. One by one, they busts open more and more cells. Bigb was even surprised to see Clownpierce and Tommyinnit coming out from their cells, ready for violence. Yup, seems about right.

He throws his never ending, infinity enchanted daggers but it only hitted one of Them. Bigb threw something he found on the floor--why is there a chair? Where did he got that? After they are sure everyone got out, he lights a torch, a redstone torch and smile grimly underneath his mask. Hypno shoots him a look, "What are you doing..?"

Bigb remains calm and unnerving as ever. He just realised that Hypno is like, stuck with the two most weirdest and unpredictable people there is. He nearly chuckles at that. "Fire" he says plainly.

"That's not gonna do anything. There's no wood or anything to burn here?"

"And that is why i used a redstone torch. Now, we run" he drops the torch onto the floor and in a swift motion, grabs Bigb and runs out of there immedietly.

Once out of there, safely on top of a grass chunk that was lost in the void, he turns around, a little worried that Hypno didn't managed to teleport out-Hypno appears next to him with a frown. He smiles, "Thought you were dead"

"You wish" Hypno retorts, "Next time give me a warning yeah? That was terrifying!"

"Yeah, I'm never dropping a redstone torch ever" Bigb agrees. "Wait-we're in the void, how are we breathing?"

He only chuckles, "Who knows how we're breathing? Whatever it is, I'm thankful we're alive. The important part is that we survived and the lab's burnt down" he actually sparked a bit of his magic, making them able to breath the void air but only for a while, "Cleo would be proud of me if she were to see this" he marvels at the sight of the lab burning down. The empty and white building slowly gets consumed by the fire.

"What was that anyways? How did a redstone torch became an explosion like that?" Bigb coaxes.

"Veteran privileges" he actually poured a little of his magic in there but they didn't need to know that.

"You are terrifying. I didn't know you could do that" Hypno comments. Little did anyone know, the reason his eyes is red is that he's been infected first. He was the first red a long time ago, back when he didn't even joined Hermitcraft or Mindcrack. He is still a red but no one ever knew that. People just thought he had heterochromia.

That is also the reason he isn't that aggresive as a red life. Still the same old Etho despite being red. But at times like this? He loves letting himself lose a little. Especially since these are the very people who made him red in the first place.

"There's a lot you don't know about me" he shrugs, and then a thought boils when he saw Bigb who's slightly shaking.

"Hey, B, wanna visit Hermitcraft? I think they'd love to provide something for you. Especially since you've not got an actual permanent server. Just for a while y'know? I bet you've not fully recovered from the lab yet" He offers.

Bigb ponders for a while, before meeting Hypno's pleading eyes and sighing. "Yeah, sure. Just a tiny visit. I've also been meaning to chat with Grian so yeah"

"Great!" With a spin of his hand, he traces out a portal to Hermitcraft. "Alright, in you go!"

Bigb and Hypno agapes, "I-You can do *that*?!?" Hypno exclaims.

He shrugs, before giving a one hand salute and jumping into the portal. He arrives on Hermitcraft with his usual demenour, and pauses. His instincts are screaming something's wrong. Something's wrong, wrong, WRONG. He looks around, scanning the surroundings. But nothing is out of place?

He turns around, finding the two followed him and-oh dear. "H-Hypno?" He stammers. Shoot, this can't be happening. Hypno can teleport and that us bad for any of the hermits.

"Yeah? What's up?" Hypno replies and Bigb takes a moment to stare into Hypno's eyes, the moment the guy noticed the red, he immediately backpedalled.

"Your eyes are a little.. Hmm, how should i say it? Bloodshot?" Bigb tries explaining with a forced smile.

"I mean, yeah, why wouldn't it be? I'm a red life-what? What's a red life?" Hypno asks and Etho and Bigb shares a look.

"Well, you see Hypno-"

'Ah, *them*. You lots are late, y'know?' Voices overlaps in their minds. 'And wow, you didn't have to burn down the lab. That's rude'

Uh oh. Why is the rogues here?!

The rogues laughs, 'Well then, shall we tell them the rules?'

etho found joel’s crashed ship in the woods and reluctantly took him home. it turns out joel came to earth to find the runaway alien prince (grian) who ran away to elope with a human. etho soon regrets agreeing to help this weirdly clingy alien thing.
