The is the first of my two offerings for @fandomtrumpshate! This one is for the lovely @handyowlet, who requested Aziraphale as Crowley's lawyer, with past history bubbling under the surface. We decided to make Crowley a protester, and I indulged in a little bit of a recent period piece to make this one work. Hope you enjoy it!

It was always a possibility that Crowley would be arrested. He'd written the number for the National Lawyers' Guild on his arm before heading out to join the protest march, after all. But he wasn't exactly expecting to have the worst night of his life — or to find out that his lawyer is Aziraphale Fell.

And fuck, he looks just as kissable as he did at summer camp twelve years ago. What is Crowley going to do?

A flurry of movement at the door on the other side of the plexiglass barrier caught Crowley’s eye, and he lifted his head. The lawyer was much younger than he expected, about his own age, dressed in a well-fitted navy suit and a dark tie that somehow seemed all wrong for his pale curly hair and pink cheeks. He was flipping through a sheaf of paperwork, finding the one he needed as he slid into the chair opposite Crowley.

“I am so sorry to keep you waiting, Mr. —”

One Omen Too Many is a Brother Cadfael AU @joyandotherstories have been working on and are posting now in celebration of Sean Pertwee (aka sexy Sheriff Hugh Beringer in the original TV series) being cast in GO Season 3. Hopefully, he and Derek Jacobi will have some scenes together as their chemistry pretty much inspired this fic.

The Hook, a Good Omens 90s fic by CemeteryAngel725

Okay, I seem to be in my "cracky ideas turn into heartfelt stories" era. This AU started out as a challenge to myself to write a story based on Blues Traveler's "Hook," which is basically a nonsense song about pop music theory. But then it turned into this much bigger tale about the universal language of music, coming of age during the AIDS crisis, and learning to ask for what you want and to have the courage to hold onto it when you find it. I'm really happy with how this one turned out!

Summary:

Ever since they met at an exclusive college for musicians twelve years ago, Aziraphale Eastgate and Anthony Crowley have had each other's backs. Sure, Aziraphale is a small-town organist and choir director composing hymns and Mass settings on the side, while Crowley is a Grammy-winning songwriter and record producer, but when they get together in front of a piano, it's undeniable that magic happens. So when Crowley gets stuck writing the music for a brand-new boy band, it's natural that he calls Aziraphale for help. And Aziraphale is more than happy to be there for him.

All he has to do is conceal what a smoking crater his life has become. Oh, and make sure Crowley never finds out just how much Aziraphale loves him.

Excerpt:

Aziraphale tutted. “You poor thing.”

“It sucks, Angel. It fucking sucks,” Crowley moaned. “Every time I sit down at the piano, my mind just goes blank. I don’t know how to write — ugh, that kind of music.”

Aziraphale frowned, looking down at the photograph and lightly tracing the outline of the blue-eyed boy with his fingertip. He really was strangely magnetic. “You usually don’t have a problem writing for different artists. I’ve seen you manage a number of styles quite well. What is it about this one?”

“Ugh, I don’t know. It’s all —” And here he made a series of exaggerated hand gestures, sweeping his open palms out to either side with a moony sigh before folding them over his heart, and then extending one hand to Aziraphale, fluttering his eyelashes. Then, his face collapsed into a scowl.

“Too sentimental?” Aziraphale guessed with a laugh.

“Too fucking corny,” Crowley growled.

A gift for Busy_24, the original author of this fic. A 5+1-style roommates fic with Crowley as a botany student and professional worrier, who is harboring a massive, secret crush on his new roommate, Aziraphale. Very fluffy, sweet and funny with some great pining as well.

Second Most Kudos: this one doubles up with the above so I'm going to pick the one I had the most fun making and that's Naked in Malibu [PODFIC] (E, 57 mins)

Another @cemeteryangel725 original and @outrageousring5655 colaboration. This is probably the funniest of all my podfics. I laughed out loud so many times reading this and had so much fun playing off Ring to record it. When interior designer Aziraphale gets the keys to A-list actor Crowley's Malibu mansion he isn't expecting to find the man himself there, and for him to be so, well, naked...
