The News is Really Bad, so get distracted with this upcoming big pattern drop ♥

Hey Patrons Tumblrians! Globally, sh*t is f$&%ed, so I'm recovering from Christmas (and enduring an awful heatwave) by creating another BIG group of single-size patterns for Tier 2 Patrons - and as a saucy little extra to give us all something to put our phones down for, I'll be sending a pattern out to Tier 1 as well! Keep reading to find out which ones xx

Reminder: You'll need to be in Tier 1 or Tier 2 by the 4th of Feb to receive 1 or all of these patterns!

Last year, you'll remember that I made a list of Valentine's designs from BG3 I wanted to choose from, and after a poll I finished up the Shar set (Shadowheart's underwear), but I still had a handful I wanted to make.

I ended up having to move to much larger patterns at the time, but we're back baybeee, and I'm making these currently, for release on the 4th of February!

Mizora's Dress (and bolero)

Nym Orlith's Dress (same basic design as Mizora with several tweaks)

Elven Underwear (Jaheira and Astarion's undies)

Half-Elf Underwear (the cute embroidered bustier, Gale's undies)

Minthara's At-Ease Set (with the trousers)

The Daisy/Elegant/Wrath Robe (worn by the Dream Visitor, shorts version too)

NGL, the main problem with making these underwear patterns is I don't want to photograph myself wearing them to put onto a public shopping website where the images get advertised internationally forever, so I'll have to make the first samples to fit my dressform instead! LOL - I've been putting them off due to self-confidence, so it's time to work around that and get to work! Let's look cute for Val-/Gal-/Palentine's!

Tier 2 will get all of these in Size 18 on the 5th of Feb, and Tier 1 will just get Astarion's Undies (Elven Male Underwear, not Jaheira's thong style of the same set).

I'm going to try and make instructions for all of these, but instruction-writing is the biggest part of the process, and it's not something I want to rush!

If you're interested in purchasing a single-size pattern instead of a subscription to the Patreon, I'll be uploading everything on the Patreon shop as I finish the instructions for them - including the backlog of patterns from last year! I'm still chugging through them all... Eventually they will all be graded on all my websites, but you know that takes a very long time - I'd like to say they'll be done by Valentine's but I can't promise that! I'll do what I can in this very small deadline, so I'd love to know which ones you want the most so I can focus on them first!

I think this will be a good reason for a lot of us to use about a yard/metre of fabric (for the smaller patterns) and stop doom scrolling for a couple days, because I personally have been avoiding instagram besides the stuff I have to publish for my business to run. Putting all the eyelets in Minthara's Trousers are literally going to take a day to do. I even use an eyelet press and it's going to take soooo long. Don't do those by hand if you don't want RSI in your wrist!

You might have seen that I also published a new pattern a couple days ago for a drawstring-style dice bag - "Padded Petal Dice Bag" is now available on Etsy, Patreon, Gumroad, and shortwaistpatterns.com! A non-clothing project to also avoid doomscrolling with. And I did some stash-busting when making the design, so I'm extremely happy with it! :D It took me a day to make, and the second day I took an hour to do some of the smaller details, so this would be a good christmas or birthday pattern to pick up as well.

This year I also plan on making repeating tilesets for in-game fabric patterns, for BG3 and Bloodborne, for use with a vinyl cutter or to make a painting stencil (and maybe a foam brayer for even more ease of use). I love fabric printing services, they're a great idea, but they are NOT affordable for the vast majority of us, and the shipping can also be delayed really easily. And printmaking can be super easy! Keep an eye on my shop(s) for those.

Otherwise, I'll be sashaying further into casual patterns, including my own take on the Strawberry Dress, mermaid-themed pieces, and some witchy and medievalcore designs. It's going to be really fun!
