the fact that the principal of that fucking college never reported this to the police and tried to hide it and show it as a "suicide" case and after the police proved that it was a rape and murder case, bro fuckibg had the AUDACITY to go up and ask ki why was the woman at the hospital that late alone... THE FUCKING AUDACITY OF THIS MAN- and that's not all, he gave up his position of principal on aug 12 and when this asshole should've been interrogated by the police, he was freely allowed to become a principal of a new college js like that? + the same hall being renovated to help the rapists and the police not doing anything abt it???? how can a woman live in this country when not only rapists but the government and even the police go around helping the inhumane instead of protecting the women of this nation? 78th independence day tmrw but kya fayda of a nation where a woman is not secure and protected in her own country? when the mentality of people here is to go "why was she alone that late at night?" and not blaming the rapists and punishing them??? the postmortem report makes me cry, gives me fuckibg chills and I cannot imagine any woman going through anything like that- think of it, she was also her mum's pyaari daughter, her dad's pride, how would have they felt when they saw her daughter bleeding, half naked in a condition they never imagined and not even being allowed to take her body? no proper statement by either our prime minister nor any government official... apna desh taxes mei sabse aage hai lekin justice and medals mei sabse peeche. what happened in kolkata is nerve wrecking and that happened in a government hospital for which we pay outrageous taxes to run

how many more nirbhaya cases do we need to realise that we need some strict action against such demons living among us

galti sirf rapist ki nahi, its also the government and we as a society, who failed to protect a woman. what else can we expect in a nation where we question the women for the clothes they were wearing, why they were out at night, instead of punishing the men who can even think of doing those gruesome things w them.

this is just one case which got viral just cus of how badly the woman was treated and murdered. think how many rapists walk among us each day, freely, cus our law system failed to protect it's daughters, sisters and mothers.

a woman can't be safe in her own workplace, her own college, her own neighborhood, even her own house in cases. and the police does nothing, the government does nothing but help the rapists delaying the cases, letting them tamper evidences.

and you're safe no where in this country if you're a woman. think about it, how fucked up that is.

Update-

The situation in Bangladesh is now absolute shit. Everything got fucked up so quick.

Jahangir Nagar University has been attacked by Bangladesh Chatro League, ordered by Sheikh Hasina herself. Dhaka University students have been attacked viciously by Chatro league members and police forces in Dhaka. More than 100 injured, or God knows how many because there is so much Casuality. Sheikh Hasina gave a briefing which was broadcasted nationwide a long ago. There, she says that those who are protest against Quota system are Terrorist and they should be brought upon Infront of the Law immediately.

Yesterday, she called the students traitor, and now she is calling them terrorist. Even though my cousin's (I'll call her Saba) friends were fleeing from their dorms with their lives, and they were shot in the head, leg, chest immediately even though they had no weapons to defend themselves. So many young students are now injured, and they are hiding away in their dorms as the Police Force are now guarding their whole university and occasionally beating them for no reason.
