The first introduction you two had with each other was a ball being thrown in his face after you accidentally missed your shot

What were you trying to hit?

An array of cans you had stolen from one of the shelves in the kitchen

You wanted to practice aiming and glisten just so happen to walk through the living room at the wrong time

Luckily, though, you were horrible at throwing and the impact was weak

Even after you both started dating, not once has he ever let that singular memory between the two of you fade

Especially during arguments

Although, by now he's gotten used to the chaos you brought

Part of him likes to think it adds extra spice to your lives

The other part wishes you'd stop tackling him in a hug everytime you saw him

Or, at least, that's what he wants to think

It's always nice having your attention, even when you can be a bit... dangerous with it

No matter how hard he tried, the second your arms are wrapped around him in a hug, your body weighing him down on the floor and he struggled to process just how fast you had jumped onto him, he could never hold back a smile

He's seen the destruction you've caused for the other toons

Hell, you should be lucky he loves you so much

He's lied for you

To keep you out of trouble, of course

One prank gone too far and he's found himself trying to distract the poor victim with positive outlooks and please don't go interrogating y/n they didn't do it don't go talk to them they're innocent and-

Safe to say he isn't the best liar when he gets nervous

It's also hard to convince others you're not the culprit when it's well known just how much trouble you cause

Glisten's eyes trail down to the case folder held loosely in Rodgers hand, ichor dripping down from the bottom edge and creating a black puddle beneath it. Rodger really wasn't in the mood to guess, and his first instict was to ask the person who hung around you the most.

"Uhm-" immediately, glistens flashed over to the couch on the other side of the living room. "Ah... haha... well, that's not so important, is it? I'm sure this is all a huge misunderstanding. Y/n wouldn't do such a thing."

"I didn't say y/n's name, did i?" If glisten wasn't as perfect as he was, he would've caused a distraction and ran away. But, his top priority was making sure you didn't get your free roam privileges taken away again as punishment. How would you visit him if you were too busy locked away in your room?

You had a nasty habit of causing trouble, fleeing the scene, and hiding

Which, often times, left glisten alone to defend your honor

He knew known of your actions were malicious

That was obvious from the look of guilt that spread across your face the second you realized you mightve taken a joke too far

But most of the time, no one was safe from your acts of chaos

Glisten only hopes you'll be extra forgiving when it comes to him

"Go fetch!" You watch his little legs run after the ball, carrying him faster then you had ever seen before as he eventually catches up it. It was always nice being able to relax like this. The floor was calm. No sounds being echoed through the corridors connecting each room, no twisteds attempting to gouge out every little sliver of ichor holding you together.

You almost laugh at the way pebble spins around the ball, running in circles and almost tripping over it at some point. He yips a few times, tail wagging rapidly as he nudges the ball with his head. And, after a few seconds of ring around the rosie, he begins to nudge the ball back over to you.

"Oh? You want me to throw it again?" A small shock of pain shot through your arm, reminding you of the past thirty minutes you spent playing fetch. But, despite that, you didn't want to stop. Part of you couldn't help but dwell on the thought of just how lucky you were to be alive, sitting comfortably against a beanbag with pebble barking in your direction.

And so, as pebble nudged the ball closer to you, you picked it up once more.

"You miss playing fetch, don't you pebble?" The smile on your face widened for a second, looking down at pebble who had began nuzzling his head against your leg. It was something you had seen him do many times before, and each time you rewarded his good behavior with a little scratch under his chin. "Does dandy not give you enough attention? Poor thing... that's why I'm the better parent. I give you all the love in the world, don't i?"

"Bwoof!" Was the only reply you has gotten, along side his tiny body rubbing against your leg once more. You took it as an agreement.

"Maybe we should let dandy agree on letting me have you for the week. Weekends are just not enough for us, right pebble?" You throw the ball off into the distance once more. The object flying into a wall before bouncing off it and landing right back onto the floor. And, just like last time, you watched as pebble chased after it. "C'mon, boy! Bring it back!"

Another yip was heard before pebble began sprinting in your direction, nudging the ball along the way with his snout. He'd lose track of it a few times, the ball rolling off to the side. But, like the smart pet rock he is, he'd bring it right back.

"Oh my goodness! Look at you go!" You clapped, chuckling slightly at the scene before you. And, just for a little extra praise for his good behavior, you let your hand glide over the top side of his head, feeling the rough, rocky extrieror against your palm. He seemed to love it, spinning around in a circle like he always does before bumping himself onto your hand.

And, just like always, he soon found himself cradled in your arms after a long day. His eyes shut as he buried himself deeper into the crook of your arm, allowing himself to snuggle against you. You only hoped tomorrow would be just as peaceful.

Astro still remembers the day you met as bright as day. Well how could he not? You were just so majestic. He couldn’t stop looking at you.

The moment he had his eyes set on you he couldn't take his eyes away. No matter how much he tried he just couldn't! You captured his eye and heart so now he wants you all for himself.

He wants that gracious smile and those shiny doe-like eyes you have, he wants your bloody heart beating in his hands as a sign of your love for him. He just can't help himself.

He knows its wrong! But he's in love, nobody can change that.

Seeing you grace others with your smile just makes him want to put them in an endless sleep. If you smile at them like that then you should do the same to him, right?

He hates that you look at others. And he hates that others look at you. Why can't you look at him as much as he looks at you? He wishes that you would look at him more. He wants your eyes only for him to see.

Though he doesn't expect you to break into his room and watch him sleep like what he does. He loves the way your chest heaves up and down softly, and how peaceful you look.

He only watches you from afar, well, only when your awake. The number one reason being that because your constantly swarmed by others because of your kind and friendly demeanour.

He does find your personality charming, he loves how warm you make everyone feels with your good vibes. But, if you weren't, then you wouldn't be so busy with everyone.

Though he doesn't want you to change. Instead he wants you to act that way only towards him!

He's not creepy for taking pictures of you doing random things right? Like when you eat your lunch. Or maybe when your sleeping so snug in your bed. And when you hang out with your other friends.

He crosses out their faces putting hearts all over yours.

He gives other toons dreams, that are basically warnings. Warnings if they get too close to you. And it works like a charm! As they try their best to avoid you the next day. Some are a bit stubborn though and it annoys him.

He gives an exception towards pebbles and toodles of course. They're innocent.

One day Astro finds a letter in front of his door from you. He knows its from you because the letter has your scent on it.

And when he saw the letter he felt his stomach sink. Oh no, you didn't find out about his hidden box of things you used, did you!?

Or maybe, you caught him following you for one whole day yesterday! And in this letter your scolding him for it!

He's scared. Nervous. He doesn't want to know the contents of this letter, but at the same time he's curious on what you wrote!

Teal sparkles surrounded the envelope picking it up. Bringing it inside his room. Once he was inside he warily opened it up taking the letter out of the envelope taking a deep breath.

And the contents didn't include you scolding him for what he has done before, or you saying you know what he's been doing to the other toons thankfully!

Instead when he read further he finds out that you love him. His eyes stop on the word love, nothing else needed to be read. Nothing else really mattered. All he knows is that you love him too.

He must be dreaming! He hopes he isn't actually- You love him too? And it's not a joke is it?

Oh of course not! You're too nice for that. He looks at the bottom right corner of your letter and see's a kiss mark. He feels his face heat up.

He runs his hand across the mark then places a soft kiss on it. Oh, how he wishes that it was you. But for now this will do.

He folds it neatly like it was never touched then places it under his pillow. He quickly starts writing a response letter of him reciprocating, how long he has been wanting for you to say this.

You and Astro have been together ever since. And yes, you do know what he has been doing. And you don't mind it one bit.

Why should you anyway? You actually like it. You find it flattering that Astro would go so far for a simple toon like you.

You know that he watches you 'sleep' at night, as you purposely unlock your door for him. And you stay awake as he watches you admire him.

You could feel his eyes burning into your face, he's so gullible for thinking that you're actually sleeping.

You've actually known what he has been doing, for a long time. At first you didn't really expect it to be someone as sweet as astro. But now you do see him as that kind of person to do so.

Before when you didn't know about Astro's obsession towards you, you were clueless that someone was watching you sleep at night. Or that someone was following you as you went through your day.

Your suspicions started when you caught your friends were talking about on how they would get nightmares. And how you would keep on catching glimpses of Astro whenever you went somewhere.

You found out when one day you were struggling to sleep, and you heard your door creak open. Making you freeze up.

You could hear someone heavily breathing, their soft footsteps getting closer. Then you heard a familiar voice...

Astro.

Ever since that day you were aware of Astros obsession you were just pretending to be oblivious. For the fun of it. You do like it when he's all clingy.

Astro would give you dreams of you and him together, and nobody else, and he thinks that you're too oblivious to see the true meaning behind it.

He would isolate you from other toons on purpose, and its obvious that he feels guilty about it. But he pushes those thoughts away saying that its all for you.

He would coddle you and hug you in his room. With all of his four arms since he trusts you so much. And for some reason he's never asleep, as he's so infatuated with your peaceful expression while your sleeping.

And you love it. You love all of the attention your gaining from him. just by doing nothing. You love how far he would go for you just because you exist.

You do love him, you really do!

But its not bad to play around with him for a bit right? Its fun seeing him getting all riled up when you talk to someone.

One day a toon in particular was annoying you. A bit too much. They would talk to you with their annoying voice, giving you their fakest smile forcing you to give them tapes!

Who else would it be other than dandy?

He's an annoying little sicko who rips you off. And you hate it!

"Oh Y/n! how about you buy this protein bar? Just for the small price of 65 tapes!" he spoke happily with that stupid smile of his.

"Ah.. thank you dandy, but I don't have any tapes on me right now." you shook your head giving him a smile.

"Oh come on! I'm sure you have some on you. I'll even give you a discount for how much you have right now." he insisted.

You balled up your fists, but then you noticed a toon watching. Oh, Astro! A light bulb lit up in your brain, as you were planning something devious.

Everyone would thank you for what you were going to do anyway! Dandy wont annoy anyone any longer.

You put on your best smile and started acting all friendly with dandy. Suddenly becoming so touchy. You could see the discomfort growing in Dandy's face but you didn't really care.

He brought this upon himself.

This was Astro's breaking point. Why were you treating Dandy the way you treat him? Oh, he knew he shouldn't have let you out for today!

He hates it. He hates seeing you being so touchy with Dandy. your fingers lingering around his arm. You don't even pull away when you notice his discomfort.

Dandy's one of his closest friends.. but he can't have this flower steal you away.

"Y/n!.. this isn't what it looks like..!" Astro panicked dropping dandy's body onto the floor of his room. Oh gosh! he didn't expect you to come back so early!

He saw your wide eyed shocked face and expects it all to be over for him. He feels his stomach twist as he prepares to put you also into a forever sleep if you ever do try leaving him. And it pains him to do so!

You both stayed silent for a while. Astro was about speak up till he saw you smile.

"Oh thank you, Astro." you hummed walking up to him. Astro did not expect that. Were you thanking him for getting rid of someone? Though he does like your praises, but.. why.

"Were you going to hide the Body?" you asked looking down at the flower who had breathed in too much sleep dust. He looked so punchable right now, well, he always does.

"I.." he didn't give out a proper answer, as he's still in a state of shock.

"Don't worry Astro I'm not mad. I'm actually quite happy you did this." You sighed and placed a soft kiss under his eye. "Let me help you clean this mess up"

"...okay.." He answered his face heating up.

Let's just hope this flower would never wake up from his nap again.

Personally I really like the concept although I feel like it's better majorly overplayed by content farms (cough gametoons cough) with the use of the reject critters. But, besides that, I'm actually really interested in how the Fandom is going to react to these new characters and how they might play a role in au's I've seen circling around Twitter as of late

I've actually had a bunch of smiling critters aus I've been thinking about since chapter 3 of poppy playtime dropped. and, because I think she's such an interesting character, I'm debating if I should add her and really figure out her dynamic with the other characters

But, as much as I think she's such a cutie, her design really reminds of something I'd make if I was back in middle school. Not to say it's bad, though. And honestly, considering mob had detailed her as something like a bubble of teenage angst (not a direct quote I forgot what they said) it really fits with her design

Twisted Astro no longer wears that same signature cornflower blue blanket anymore

It's not that he doesn't like it or that the ichor had ruined its quality beyond repair

It's just that he was better things to use it for now

He always kept it wrapped around your figure, practically covering every aspect of your body besides a little pocket that allowed you to breathe comfortably

he always made sure to keep you hidden

he knew how dangerous the other twisted could be, and because of that, it had become his number one priority to keep you safe and sound

although before he had gotten used to your sleepy nature, there was a lot of concern surrounding how many times he had found you passed out somewhere on the floor

at first, he had debated if you had some kind of sleeping disorder like narcolepsy

but after a while, he had found out it was just how you were

that didn't reassure his worries completely, though

part of him was thankful you were always sleeping

despite how guilty he felt about that tiny little pleasure

he knew he was scary

he's seen the fear in your eyes

it had been so long since you've smiled his way

but when you were asleep, it was almost like you trusted him again

he's no longer the same Astro you've known all those years

a voice in the back of his head keeps trying to convince him that if you just see how much he cares for you

how many times he's wrapped you up in a blanket and shielded you from the world outside your dreams

that you'd realize just how much he truly loves you

you'd finally realize that he'd rather face a brutal death than ever allow anything to harm you

maybe he's just too shy to outright say that

but part of him can't help but hope that he wouldn't have to

that everything would fall into place, and you'd come to that realization yourself

It didn't take too long before the twisted had lost their interest in you. The blaring sound of an airhorn had captured its attention quick enough to leave your resting body unharmed. And, with the sound fading into nothing, he made sure to be gentle when holding you close. You had been lucky enough to run into a twisted with a low attention span, and he had been lucky enough to get to you in time before your death could become a possibility.

Your chest rose and fell in an almost rhythmic motion, and if his mind still hadn't been panicking from the idea of losing you this floor, he would've taken the time to admire just how soft your snores were. But, there were still threats on this floor. As much as he would have loved to sit there and watch you sleep, he knew it was only a matter of time before another twisted came along and threatened your safety.

So, in the gentlest fashion, he wrapped your body up in the cornflower colored blanket he always did and wisked you off. He didn't know when you'd wake up from this little nap of yours, and despite how guilty it made it him, he wished it wouldn't be until a few hours. He found comfort in holding you close to him. A comfort he hadn't felt in a long time.

It was cute with how tired you always were, and he was thankful it gave him an opportunity to hold you do tenderly in his two upper arms. He knew if you woke up you'd be terrified. It's happened before. It hurt him having to watch the way your eyes widened, the sound of your hasty breathing had been almost deafening as you tried to bite back a scream.

But for now, he'd have to take it slow. He'd have to ease you into this new form of his. He'd have to teach you that despite how grotesque the view of ichor dripping down from his eyes was, he could be gentle. He could be the same Astro you had loved before. You just needed time, He'd tell himself over and over. You just needed time.

And, until that time came, he'd continue to stay a silent savior. One unbeknownst to you as you slept soundly against him. You could sleep as long as you wanted on these floors. As long as he was with you, he'd protect you. He'd keep you safe.

He's almost too shy to give away the possibility of you knowing how you managed to survive so many floors for this long

With how many times you had just dropped to the floor mid-chase, the others would have assumed you'd be long gone

And yet, you continue to stay alive

"You always look perfect." you added on walking back to his bed.

Glisten would stare into his vanity mirror his glass being all foggy.

He knows that you could be lazy at times, and emotionless, but you really do love him.

And you’d show it in your own little ways. He finds it quite romantic.

You’d peacefully lay on your bed in your room, and Glisten would rant to you on.. everything. And with your expression others would think that you weren’t listening. You were basically falling asleep at that point.

But really you weren’t, you were listening to everything he was saying. To a normal person they would look at you two and think that you’re uncaring.

But if they paid close attention they’d notice you would nod agreeing to every point glisten would make. And have a reaction whenever he told you something shocking. Of course glisten would notice, he knows you!

He could ramble to you about anything and you’d listen anyway.

It’s funny because when you both started your relationship he thought you weren’t listening.

He was offended but pushed away those thoughts and continued to ramble.

He told you that he doesn’t like it when other people touch his bow since, it would ruin the fabric.

And then the next day pebbles was playing around with his bow.

It made him frustrated but he didn’t want to make toodles sad.

But you somehow noticed, well that’s what he thought. And you picked up pebbles leading pebbles away from his bow by tossing a toy.

Then you fixed his bow to make it look more proper.

he asked you why

“I know you don’t like people messing with your bow.” You responded blankly.

You really do listen!

And that you’d give him the most random compliment whenever he looks down when nobody notices..

Today, Glisten doesn’t feel like himself. Trying so hard to be perfect but others don’t notice. Infuriating, he just wants some validation is it that hard to ask for?

Poor glisten stuck in his thoughts. He didn’t even notice you sitting down next to him. He snaps out of his thoughts when he hears what you say.

“The joke you made earlier was really funny.” you said. Glistens eyes widened, you noticed he made the joke?? Nobody even laughed..

”Thank you dear.” He smiled puffing out his chest. You laid your head on his shoulder wrapping your arms around him

“I’ll notice you no matter what.”

He loves you a lot.

He loves trying out new styles on you.

But what you’d like even more was to see his reaction.

You cracked a smile and Glisten noticed. “Why are you smiling.. Is there something on my- OH!” he immediately backed up. Gosh when did he get so close?! He cleared his throat “Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention..”

You hummed “It’s fine Glisten, you look really good up close.”

Astro and you have been together for a long time. Its been so long that Astro didn't even count (1 year, 3 months, 17 da-). But all Astro knows is that he loves you and you love him. And he's happy that you're together.

Astro thinks that the way you treat him and others is just you being overprotective. He knows that your obsession with him is unhealthy. But its fine, he just knows that's how you show your love for him and he can fix you! within time..

Other toons would complain that they would catch you watching him from afar. Or that they would get threats from you if they stood too close to him. In fact, they're actually risking their life trying to complain to him.

You would give them dirty glares if they even dare breathe the same air as him.

Astro would tell them that its how you would show you care for him and that you're really overprotective.

He loves taking naps with you, even if you dont sleep. Its fine that you watch him sleep too. Yes, he does know that you watch him sleep. He found out because you told him that he looked really adorable while he was sleeping.

He knows what you dream of. He has seen your dreams before, and most of them is just you and him hanging out together. Being all romantic. It makes him flustered.

The first time he found out he couldn't even look at you in the eyes properly the next morning. But when your relationship started he became more comfortable with it.

He continues to give you dream's like those. Because, he enjoys seeing that you and him spend time together. Awake or asleep, spending time with each other.

He's shocked that you already know that he has another set of arms. He doesn't know how, or why you even knew. He suspects that you threatened dandy for information. But he trusts that you'll keep it a secret.

You keep on telling him that you love every inch of him and everything about him. He hopes your telling the truth.

But..

He wishes you'd stop being mean to the other toons when they would ask him to stop giving them nightmares.Its nice that your defending him.

But could you not threaten them with a brick..? He doesn't mind being asked about dreams at all. Where did you even get it- oh, yeah.. Shrimpo.

He doesn't like it when you stare down Dandy. Knowing that he could turn into his twisted form any moment. You mumble curses at dandy whenever he talks to him giving him a hateful glare.

He knows that your obsession with him is unhealthy, and after a long while of toons complaining he decides to start putting up boundaries

Astro tries his best to make sure you stop threatening others, telling you that he doesn't want you to continue what your doing. And that he would always love you. He could fix you right?

And whenever he thinks you finally understood you go on and start threatening other toons again.

You were doing so well, keeping your cool biting your tongue and not letting all of the mean words spill out. He saw your hands trembling from not trying to hit any toons near him. He was proud-

But one day you just snapped.

And then he tries to establish boundaries once more. And then.. it just becomes a cycle.

A really tiring cycle. He was on the edge of ending things off with you.

But you apologize every time, and you say that you're gonna get better. You hold his arm looking up at him with teary eyes. You beg him to not be mad

"I'm really sorry Astro! I really am! I just don't like the way they look at you a-and...-' your voice fades out as Astro seems lost in thought.

Seeing you cry hurts him.. he doesn't like it when you cry. It's true you did try! You really did. Surely you'll get better right? You would hold back from hurting anyone longer next time if he gives you another chance right?

"Please please please please! please dont be mad astro, I love you so much! It's just- It's just how I show my love! I promise i'll change-" you begged

Right.. this is just how you show your love. This is how you show you care! Astro feels so bad for being so careless and rude to you. He shouldn't keep on pushing you like this.. You'll change in your own time right?

"It's okay Y/n.." he gave you a small smile. You then pulled him into a hug your head laid on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry for being so mean to your feelings.." he apologized

"Oh.. its okay Astro." you sniffled

You wonder how he would react if he saw you smiling. You wonder how he would react if he saw the bloody garbage bags in your room.

She enjoyed the rush of excitement at what new item she would get next..

However ever since you came along, you’ve become Gigi’s most prized treasure of all!

Gigi always tends to keep her treasures close to her, and you’re no exception as she’s particularly glued onto you

However the treasures she usually keeps guarded and hidden from the rest of the toons, are all proudly shared to you

“Hey hey [Your Name]!” Gigi whispered as she hurried to your side, slightly out of breath.

“Yes Gigi?” You ask, before Gigi pulls out a special Astro figurine.

“Whaddaya think?~ It’s one of a kind! Mwhehehee, and one of the earliest manufactured Astro figurines too!” Gigi boasted with a smug smile as she presented it to you, beaming so brightly she could outshine Brightney.

“I think it’s lovely Gigi!” You giggle, making Gigi’s red face even more bolder in color. All she does is snicker back before hiding the figurine away.

However just as you are Gigi’s most prized treasure, you’re also her most protected. So naturally Gigi would become jealous if your time away from her was taken by another Toon.

You were talking about Vee about helping with some supplies for her next show soon, when Gigi stepped in with her arms behind her back.

“[Your name]! Wanna come see this exclusive dvd movie I just so happen to have? It has bloopers in it too!” Gigi interrupted, holding up the dvd in its case.

“Oh wow Gigi, how did you know about that movie?! Thats my favorite!” You exclaim.

“But I have to help Vee..” You murmur, turning back to Vee with a solemn expression on your face.

“Im sure it’ll be fine, right Vee? You can always ask Shelly to help ya!” Gigi suggested, only earning a scoff in response from the robot.

“See ya then!” Gigi chuckled as she grabbed your hand and whisked you away.

If you were chaotic, you’d become an unstoppable duo! You’d two would be inseparable just as you two are insufferable.

However if you were the more mature and calmer between the two, Gigi would be safe knowing she’d always have a shoulder to lean on. Of course, Gigi would always have your back as well- defending you in anything.

Because to Gigi you are the most priceless treasure of all.
